This Taco Bell provides a pretty solid fast food experience. It's busy enough so the food moves so everything always tastes fresh. I base my fast food rankings on what it is, meaning rank fast food and Taco Bell is among that we're not talking about going to a five star steakhouse are we? Will say though that they recently upgraded their prices to three dollars and change for a single taco when you can get way better on a food truck so the price point isn't really matching the fast food energy... Staff are friendly and polite. If you have a big water, there's one gentleman that will follow you and hold the door open for you which is very sweet. We ordered for delivery and when it arrived everything with the order was correct. The food was good, the ingredients seemed fresh. We didn't interact with the employees or the establishment in person. However as you will see by the photo, the sauce we were given was all stuck together by an old open sauce that must have exploded and dried. This was especially disgusting because these old crusty sauces were thrown in the bag on top of our food. The stuck together sauces were in 3 different crusty piles. It seems like someone should have noticed that the sauces were all stuck together and crusty. This was clearly not something that just happened because nothing was wet from the sauce. Every Tuesday I come in and it takes 30 minutes to a literal HOUR for them to put out orders inside. And it's always the same crew of the 2 Spanish ladies who couldn't give less of a shit slowly making it.... Every other day I come it's decently fast and reasonable. But lately? It's insane! I shouldn't have to wait 30+ minutes because I ordered inside... And most of the time the window isn't even packed, they're just taking their sweet time and slowly doing the order. I don't want this review to reflect badly on the people that work here, they probably work very hard and are very nice. I wouldn't know... I didn't meet any of them. It used to be that if the drive-through line was too long, I would walk in and place my order. "Three crunchy tacos, no cheese, three soft tacos, no cheese." Takes about five seconds to say. Now, when you walk into this Taco Bell, there is a giant touchscreen that you have no choice but to use to place your order. Unlike McDonald's, which lets you use their touchscreen or go to the counter and order with a human being you are stuck using this ridiculous screen. First, I had to choose takeout. Then, to place my order I had to choose tacos, then find crunchy tacos from about 20 random taco varieties on the screen. Then because I wanted it with no cheese, I had to navigate the modifications menu. Then, because I wanted three of them, I realized I would have to repeat this twice more. By now I'm two minutes in to what used to be a five second order and I've ordered one taco. That's when I turned around and left. Never again. I ordered 3 times from here in the past month and they missed my order notes three times. I ordered Uber Eats but it wasn't the driver it was the Ronkonkoma location. First two times I ordered two drink and only one was delivered. Most times it's jam packed full of High School kids hanging out with their friends that work there. This is one of the better taco bells I have been to. Most of the time the food tastes good. The major reasons it isn't getting 5 stars is because it isn't very clean, and the workers can be very rude. Many times when the workers leave food out for my order they insist that I am the one who is wrong even though I show them the receipt. It has even gone far enough where I've had to argue with the cashier over change (he shorted me five bucks, and the manager shooed me away).
