I have eaten at several Taco Bells in my life, and my experiences have been anywhere between 'OK' to terrible in them. But, it has never been anything but awful at this particular location. To start, the management there is un-skilled and careless. I have both dined in and went through drive thru, both ways are extremely slow, and I've had to go back several times to have my food re-made because they never make things correctly in my order! Its always missing something, forgets to remove something, and the food items are usually very 'chincy' (ie: not making target weight, that's for sure!). Oh yeah! And I don't know why this is.. but at this particular location, it ALWAYS smells in there! Like rotting sewage or something. I've also brought this to their attention, and they don't seem to notice, or care, for that matter. Disgusting, not very good service! I would NOT recommend this store! read more

They just don't quite get the concept of "fast" food here. When my family goes to a fast food chain, it's all about TIME for us. If we had TIME, we would have gone to someplace where the food is better than fast food. This last trip took 25 minutes to get 4 tacos, 1 burrito and 1 meximelt. They've been slow before, but this is a new record. The food itself was okay. If you must eat here, the drive thru is usually much quicker than going inside. I'm pretty sure no one waited 25 minutes in the drive thru while we were there. But they don't have a loud beeping timer going on the dining room food. read more

I have been a resident of Rosamond for five years and never been to this restaurant. It was a long day so I decided to hit the drive thru Saturday. HUGE mistake. The "stuffed burrito" had a few scraps of meat. The taco was all shell and not much else. A lot of ice and very little Dr. Pepper. All this for almost $9. It's now Sunday and I still haven't fully recovered from whatever they stuffed in that burrito. Absolutely DISGUSTING, stopped in for a quick breakfast, ordered bacon egg tacos, when I got them the bacon (actually bacon bits) were ice cold (like you would get on a salad bar) When I questioned them as to why the bacon was cold they stated it was supposed to be cold and could not warm it up.. Not sure if that's true or they were just too lazy to pop it in the microwave. Regardless I won't be dining at this or any other Taco Bell again. This place is still horrible , even after a full overhaul. I should have known something was wrong when the lady said "oh shit" thru the intercom. I pull to the window and pay, when she handed me my card back there was no receipt. I was going to ask for the receipt because I wanted to see why that's what it was $27. Unfortunately I will never know. Once I got home I realized I forgot a chalupa meal and the cinnamon twist. Normally they hand you the food on a tray so that way it'll be "contact-less", cuz she handed me the food with her bare hand which was weird so I was going to check and before I can look in the bag, some lady behind the cashier lady with the headphones shouts out, " all 9 item during the bag sir.'' So I drive off go home just realized if it got a few items and I have no receipt. And honestly I didn't feel like arguing so I just went home, and then had to argue with my wife because they gave her chicken instead of steak. When I got to the drive thru window, I paid and then was asked to back up and pull up again. I asked why and she said to help her time. This is the 4th time by 4 different employees I've been asked to do that at this location. I was the only car in the drive thru the entire time! AND, you can't read the menu while trying to order at the MIC. There is glare and the print is too small to read most of it. Someone needs to manage that place. HACKS! read more

I had to wait 15 mins for my food and another 10 for the kids from the high school to use the dive thru as a walk way then one kid threw a trash can lid at my car and luckily missed then kicked the front of my car, no damage since he was had no muscle thank god but he must of hurt his foot on it, the kids are so dumb they have a side walk five feet away from the drive thru they should be using, obviously not using a drive thru as a walk way. I have never been to a substandard Taco Bell until today. I was served 2 tacos with stale shells. The tacos were so stale there was no crunch. Also the restaurant smelled liked urine and the bathroom had a broken light. When I told an employee about the light she told me, "it's been like that for awhile." Went to Taco Bell at 10:34 pm. Placed my order through the drive thru. Moved my car forward and placed my car in park. I observed the employee instruct the customer in front of me to back their car up so the customers wait time would not negatively impact their overall average drive thru time. When the customer did this he backed into me. Taco Bell employees at this location have been doing this for years. I have complained numerous times to management and nothing has been done. Well tonight was the last straw. Taco Bell employees and the company that they are representing Taco Bell are solely responsible for my damages. Not once did an employee ask us if we were ok, needed assistance, or acknowledge their accountability. I have attached photos of my damages and my receipt as proof of date, time, and location. By providing this information I am demanding corporate to review surveillance around the accident that occurred, investigate overall drive thru behaviors & efficiencies, and for corporate to mandate better processes and expectations for drive thru activities to ensure the safety of the public. I am expecting a sense of urgency and a call from corporate around the resolve around the items I listed above, my mental and physical health due to traumatic accident in a Taco Bell drive thru with my 9 year old daughter sitting in the back sit and for my car damages. 30 minutes stuck in a drive-thru....No.. Really. I normally wouldn't waste the time to review a chain, but swung by on a Saturday night for my annual lapse of TB judgement. After getting past the drive-thru "point of no return" I was stuck there for over 30 minutes with only 4 cars ahead of me. I was hoping that when I got to the window they'd tell me ANYTHING that would justify it. Instead, he said there were two cars that had large orders. So I asked the logical question "Why didn't you ask them to park in front while you worked on their large orders?" To which he replied "it's against policy for us to 'park' cars". I have been going to taco bell since 1976, I have probably eaten well over 1000 pounds of food from them in my lifetime, most of it I would rate fairly high but this one in particular is horrible, Taco Bell Corporation has gone up in price from the nice cheap meals that you used to be able to get in the eighties and early nineties to being of crap quality and extremely expensive for what you are getting. This particular Taco Bell doesn't do "fast" food. Me, and the three customers ahead of me waited about 20 minutes each to get our food after ordering. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous and tells me that management is the problem. I recommend going to the Subway or McDonalds in the same strip mall area. Taco Smell This has been our "go to" for dinner on our way to Willow Springs for several years. When we stopped on July 1, we walked in and was immediately assaulted by the stench from the bathrooms. Walked up to the counter and asked the person if she could smell that and she said no. Food was just ok. Went back again last night and we all agreed if it still smelled we were leaving. Walked in the door and was immediately assaulted once again. We turned around and left and will never be back. Had to try this Taco Bell just to see if it was really as bad as the reviews say it is, and I must say I have to disagree with them. Maybe we caught them on a good day but the food was great (as far as taco bells go) with plenty of all ingredients promised. We waited a total of 14 minutes from the time we got in a 6 car line to the time we left with our food. Not fast by any means but definitely not slower than average in my opinion. They gave us plenty of our desired hot sauces which, for Taco Bell frequenters like myself, is never a guarantee. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because, let's be honest, we've all had that one Taco Bell visit that was just superior to all others for one reason or another. read more

The biggest downfall to this place is the waiting time. Every time we've gone since moving back to town it's been about a 45 minute wait. This includes if there's only one person ahead of us. I have since learned to do the online ordering. Order the food and head out a half hour later and it's ready. Make sure you pick it up inside. If you don't then you are waiting forever for any cars ahead of you. If you go inside, you give them your name and they hand it to you. read more

I used to frequent this spot when I lived in Rosamond and while I don't expect much from a fast food joint... I have usually not been disappointed and the people have been cordial. Today is the exception. I ordered two quesaritos and didn't even receive what I ordered. I know I should have checked the bag before I left...but I was in a hurry to get to work and on a strict time limit. Ok I went here on faith after seeing the other low reviews. They must've fired all the problem employees. I got crunchy tacos and a cheesy potato burrito. Everything was cooked fresh and delicious.
