man this place is the pits - walk up to lobby door, scratchy tweaker who looks like something out of King of the Hill zooms around the corner in ambush "hey man I been washin windows all day (points at phone for some reason like that has a connection to such labor) can you give me somethin" "no I can't help you guy" "mububub fuggity fug fug fug (scraggles off into the night)" at least he didn't pull a knife I guess? - go to kiosk to order, literally none of the screens work right, you have to tap everything up to 10 times to get it to finally register - no-English girl making the food is loafing around slowly rolling her eyes at everything and being generally attitudinal, only gets in high spirits when Juan Pedro the Doordash Driver From La Mancha comes in and flirts while also yabbering into his phone and plopping his shorty shorts balls onto the food pickup area - when you order extra sauces - and EVERYTHING costs extra now - they show cups on the kiosk. when you get the order you don't get cups, they "put it in for you already" (the scantiest amount possible despite every basic add-on costing around 60 cents each) (also took a little while to find the one lady who speaks English to explain this to me the "no se" eye-roller just rolled her eyes and slowly wandered off) (this is Utah by the way this is not San Diego or El Paso) - quesadillas now half the size and twice the price they were a few years ago. despite being like $7 for this small thing you still have to pay 60 cents each for sour cream, pico, etc etc - took about 10 minutes to get this somehow despite the Doordash being the only thing ahead of me - go to sit down and some bum is fenty-folded over on the seats right behind the kiosks, looks like he didn't even bother buying food just came in and collapsed I think that's it for me and Taco Bell, Yum Brands knows no bottom in their ruination of everything. I eat Taco Bell all the time on the road so know what to expect. I do a basic soft shell taco no cheese and add hot sauce. It's not the best taco but it's probably the only fast food I can tolerate. This Taco Bell was the worst food I've ever had my entire life. The beef was chunky and it was not like any other Taco Bell I've had before. I had a couple bites of my first taco and threw the rest away and just skipped that meal. Rather that than wake up sick as I am just passing through Salt Lake City. Do not eat here. My husband and I came here for dinner. We love Taco Bell and we don't live far. Every time we've gone through the drive through the person taking our order has always been very nice. We ordered 2 crunch wraps, one with tomatoes and one without. They marked one wrapper as having no tomatoes which I trusted and a couple bites in I saw tomatoes. It's frustrating because I have a tomato allergy and I do my diligence to make sure I'm careful and I feel that those preparing food should do the same. It's happened a few times when I request no tomatoes and it's disregarded. I constantly have to check if the order is right and I feel like I shouldn't have to do that. This store closes whenever the hell they want to. I just showed up, 6:50pm, and all the lights are out and there is somebody in there working, I guess the drive-through, and all the doors are locked. I don't have a car so I can't go to the drive-through so dining in is my only option. They have the worst customer service ever! I made my order which consist of their crunchy tacos and bean burritos and nachos via their drive thru and was told to park in front to wait for my order. I went around the building to park in front to wait for my order along with other customers waiting for their food. Time past by and they came over with a small bag of something I didn't order and told me that the drive through worker said it was for me in a gray car. I told them they were wrong and they came back with a bigger bag that wasn't mine and when I ordered my food I wasn't handed a receipt so I couldn't prove that wasn't mine. Probably the best Taco Bell I've ever been to. Every time I've been there (except about once or twice) my order has always been right, and even when I order 10+ shredded mini chicken quesadillas (my favorite) and other complicated requests, my order comes out pretty fast and looks great. I love tacos and their tacos aren't too shabby. The only thing that sucks is that their tacos are always broken on the bottom of the shell because it's soaking wet and that their tacos quality are very inconsistent. There are times when the tacos are stuffed to the brim and look beautiful, and other times when it's basically empty inside. On our way to Salt Lake City Airport, we stopped at 1758 W North Temple, Salt Lake City, UT, Taco Bell. My grandson ordered Nacho Cheese tacos without meat, but with beans. The order was filled but I was asked to pay extra $ 1.00 for beans instead of meat or poultry. Normally, this has not happened in the past so I questioned the cashier. She called the manager. He chastised me for making substitution, and asked me to call Mr. Trump if I am dissatisfied. His behavior was arrogant, unfriendly and had a tone of 'I do not give a damn' or bigotry. This is not a question for $ 1.00, but we have never experienced such charge or behavior at other Taco Bells. Taco Bell has served us well for vegetarian fare. Normally I suggest the company to train the staff to take care of different dietary needs, but in this case this manager deserves to be reprimanded and fired. In stark contrast, the one at 1962 Fort Union Blvd., in Salt Lake City UT did an outstanding job to serve us vegetarians, just a day before. Taco Bell is really staring to fail at every level and location. I paid for double meat on a #1 combo and it honestly barely had any meat on it at all when it came out. Every table is dirty and there's only a few people here eating at lunchtime. I guess that's why this place is almost deserted during the lunch rush everywhere else. The seating in here is strange also, it honestly seems as though they removed 25% of the seating, maybe to try and make themselves appear more busy than they really are? I should have gone next door to Carl's Jr.!
