The drinks were well made and the food came pretty quick! We got a taco plate and a chimichanga plate. Not only was it filling, but the leftovers are bound to be delicious... However, the inside is beautiful, with a cabin feel because of all the wood and tall ceiling. There is a large bar in the front, some regular tables on the left and back, some booths to the right, and some high booths in the middle. We were seated by the window, at a booth. There are some traditional decorations throughout the restaurant. We ended up ordering 2 birria tacos, one carne asada taco, and one fish taco, with churros as dessert. The birria tacos were really good. I do wish they had more cheese, but the amount of meat was just right, and the tortillas were still crispy. It came with consome on the side, to make it that more juicy. The carne asada taco was good. The tortilla was warm and the meat was tender. The fish taco came with guacamole on the side which was a plus, but way too much sauce. It was definitely lacking the fish; we had to dig a little to find it. We gave into getting churros for dessert. I'm not the biggest fan of churros to begin with, but these were not my favorite. I felt they were a bit too stiff/dry. I did appreciate that it came with fudge and caramel on the side for dipping. Our waitress was kind, and handling a lot of tables at once, so props to her.

Cold Night, Hot Tacos, Zero Regrets…read more We stumbled into this taco spot on a cold night, and honestly? Best decision we made. It definitely gives hole-in-the-wall vibes, but don't let that scare you off--those are usually the places that know what they're doing. And this one absolutely does. Inside was warm, cozy, and welcoming, with plenty of seating (no awkward hovering with your tray). The whole place just felt comfortable--like the kind of spot you want to linger in while your food works its magic. Drinks? Covered. They've got beer, soda, and classic options like horchata and passionfruit juice, so everyone's happy. Now let's talk food because wow. The birria tacos were unreal. Juicy, packed with flavor, and very filling. The kind of tacos that make you pause mid-bite and nod in approval. Easy 10 out of 10. We also ordered the cheese quesadilla meal, and it was more than enough to fill him up, no sad "still hungry" looks afterward. Add in extremely friendly staff who make you feel genuinely welcome, and you've got a spot that checks all the boxes: warm, cozy, delicious, and inviting. Bottom line: Hole in the wall? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Would I go back? Without question--and probably wearing a bigger jacket so I can eat more.

We especially loved the ambiance, decor, staff and drinks! It didn't matter if we were the first table of the day or it was a busy night, we were taken great care of and the whole experience was wonderful! Everyone tells us we need to come back for the patio experience so that's on the list for warmer days! We also heard they had a new restaurant upstairs and we checked this out! We love this spot!

I ordered a spicy margarita and my wife got a soda. The bartender has such an amazing personality and made a fantastic spicy margarita with their homemade spicy tequila! The complimentary chips and salsa are always night but the salsa tasted like tomato sauce. We did order queso and it was good but a bit too watery. I ordered sweet potato tacos and was very disappointed that it was filled with fries and not sweet potato. The flavor was great but the menu should reflect that it is fries. My wife got a burrito without meat and they filled it with cauliflower and broccoli which wasn't good. It didn't say that on the menu so it was again, disappointing that it came with that. Overall the service was a 5 but the food was about a 2. So disappointing because this used to be one of our favs.
