Pretty solid spot! This place has most of your favorite Mexican dishes (tacos, tortas, burritos, etc.). It's casual and you order at the counter, so don't expect anything too fancy. The ambiance could use some work, but hey, it's really about the food here. I ordered the Tilapia a la Plancha Plato, which I would recommend. The fish was cooked nicely and it came with rice, beans, a salad, and some tortillas on the side. It was a filling meal for certain. My coworkers enjoyed their meals as well. The food here is yummy and tasty. Definitely one of my top places for authentic tacos. I wish they didn't close so early during weekday dinner time. We went on a Monday for dinner but they close at 6. After arriving around 5:30, 4 other families walked in after us and the kitchen ladies had to keep taking our food and packing it up to go home. They should just extend their hours to high traffic times. There is seating but I did not see a bathroom. The food has amazing freshness and flavor. During the Covid pandemic I decided to do take out from Taqueria el Habanero. I was very impressed with the take out from this restaurant. It was still hot and fresh when it got to me. The chicken burrito was delicious. It was filled with a lot of meat, rice and beans. The carnitas taco was also delicious. I loved the soft shell and the meat was fresh. I was not as impressed with the quesadilla, I did not think it had enough meat or cheese in the quesadilla. Over all I would definitely try this place again and thought it was delicious! read more

I ordered 3 tacos, Mr. ordered 5 tacos with two soft drinks. We took a seat and waited 45 minutes. There was 6 people working that we could see and one other party of 4 waiting for food. His tacos were ordered with no onion, cilantro or radish. We were about ready to walk out thinking we weren't goi g to get our food when it finally arrived and his order was completely wrong. He only received 3 tacos and they all had the onions, cilantro and radishes that he did not want. The corn tortillas were not freshly made, they were mushy, cold and not cooked. The carne asada/steak was dry and flavorless and looked more like hamburger meat than steak/asada. And they did not bring our drinks and we hall had to ask for them again. We paid out $30 bill for 6 tacos and 2 soft drinks and left. Unfortunately he was still hungry but we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for a couple more tacos. If you're looking for quality authentic tacos, I'm sorry to say this place isn't it.
