This is supposed to be a quick stop for gas and fast food. Got finished with the gas and ordered my order on the mobile app. Since the gas station was a Food Lion gas station, and there was no restroom, I figured I would pick up the order inside and utilize the facilities. A train wreck ensued. I can't really say anything about the food, as it's Taco bell. There was nothing outstanding about it. There was nothing bad about it. It was just taco bell. I ordered at 4:51 and the app said my order be ready at 4:53. You can see this in the screen capture of the text the app sent me telling me my order was ready . The Taco Bell was right across the road so I figured I would do a quick pit stop and then grab my meal and go on my way. When I got to the Taco bell, I held the door open for somebody else and went to the facilities. About a minute later I came back out and there was no order. Now I realize fast food places do get busy, so I sat and waited. The cashier rang at three people including the guy let in and then asked me if I needed to order something and I told her I was waiting for a mobile order. She looked at the screen and said oh yes for Gregory. I said yes. She said she's working on it. I sat and watched her rolling numerous burritos and it turns out it was the guy let in the door after I place my order who had ordered two party packs. I looked down at the app and my order had disappeared. It took a bit of time to get an employee's attention but I asked about my order they had to pull it up from completed orders. That's when I clicked the lap time and you can see it took another couple of minutes to get the order done. Had I waited until after I had used the restroom walked back out and placed it for the drive-thru I would have been on the road again 15 minutes earlier. End of the story? I would not recommend going to this Taco Bell for a quick pickup while on the road. If you do, it's probably better to wait through the drive-thru. So I normally go at least twice a week to get the chalupa Lux box. Today I went and the pita bread was super soft, not crunchy at all. I went back in line to ask why it seemed like it was an what the old gordita stuff used to be like. I was told by staff that too many customers complained that the chalupa was crispy. So now it's just a tortilla shell. I definitely will not return so we went from one extreme to the other and that's disappointing cuz it's supposed to be at least a little crunchy. Should have read reviews first. Yes fried items tasted terrible. Didn't find hair in food, but why would you come back a second time after you found hair in your food? Trying to make a wig? Most of the food was good. The Mexican Pizza tasted horrible. Think it may of been old oil in the frier. Could use some personality training, however we all know customer service died in the beginning of COVID. So much for southern hospitality, may be transplanted people. This Taco Bell is ok if you want something easy, yet today that too was messed up. Ordered soft tacos. Only thing is the flour tortillas were STALE, Dry, Cracking. How hard is it to provide fresh tortillas? When I moved here I was used to getting two soft tacos and 1 order of those donut holes. A little taste of heaven. DO NOT ORDER HERE! They are dry, hard, with very little sugar/cinnamon, over cooked. Steak Burrito came out. Was so delicious for the first several weeks. Then they cut the amount of steak in it by minimum of 1/2 half. Tried ordering extra steak, don't bother. They charge you but don't get it. NOT all Taco Bell's are like this. My butthole eradicated and my car was getting flaked with fumes of dookie and I had to look for a place to stop. I found a Taco Bell in my local town and pulled in hoping to get some fresh grub. When I walked in I noticed the smell of rigatoni as I Troted to the bathroom. Once inside I noticed a TERRIBLE STENCH from inside one of the stalls. I went inside and basically had to barge the door open with force but luckily I just gained a few hundred pounds so it was easy for me to get in. I walked in and to my surprise I found it there it was, a fresh and steamy lot of dookie on the toilet. This was like one I have never seen before and it smelled horrendous. I called the manager in there and he asked if I took that but I told him my fumes were way larger and that could not have been mine. He told me he would find the culprit of this devious mischief mr they would be sentenced to a duke N run. After that I went to order my food and I got my bag and I looked in smacking my lips preparing for the fresh grub. But I looked in my bag and I saw what appeared to be a GIANT BOOGY practically waving back at me as if it wanted to be eated. I called the manager over and he said he would fix it right away but I had enough so I went outside and opened his car door and unloaded all I had in my dying butthole in his driver seat and a fresh brown stain was left in remembrance to show that this place was the most god awful unholy treacherous place that I would only recommend if you we're sittin in a Chevy and felt somethin heavy. read more
