This is what I got. Ha ha

I wish half stars were available. Purchase was 4-4-24 around 12:30 pm. Worth $2 for three of these and not $10!

Crunchwrap Supreme. Not much to it. Compare this picture to the one on Taco Bell's menu board.

Ordered a Crunchwrap supreme. It came with a mere smearing of meat and cheese between the crunchy taco and tortilla, then filled with nothing but lettuce and a little sour cream. Needless to say, we won't be going back!

    Dirty floors.

Slow, filthy, booths are ripped up, workers aren't cleanly and all need to be replaced.

They put a whole lot of beef and cheese on my Crunchwrap supreme.

Went in today to try the pie, and wasn't disappointed at all!…read more Took a swing in the dark on the topping selection, and was extremely impressed. Elk sausage, mushrooms, green chile, ooey gooey cheese, and oh my, my tastebuds came alive! The crust had just the right amount of crisp on the bottom, while the sauce had a delicious complimentary exchange with the ingredients. I ate way more than what I'd normally eat for lunch! Then to top that off, I was offered hot honey to finish off the crust that was absolutely fantabulous on it's own. This was the perfect way to complete an amazing pie! It was so good, that we ate the leftovers for dinner, and we were just as pleased, minus the great company that the restaurant offers with their local vibe and interest in your experience. Super cool folks! I also, out of curiosity, ordered a single slice with my go-to favorite... hamburger, pineapple, jalapeno, and extra cheese. It was tantalizing! On a hot Spring day, you can't go wrong with a cool drink and an amazing pie at the new Las Animas Pizza!

I actually thought I would try this establishment and what a giant mistake it was as the burger I…read moreordered was the size of a quarter and very tasteless the fries were soggy and after we returned to our motel I suffered the dreaded bad feeling stomach. Don't expect a happy hello from the man there so service is a zero and they even charged for ice. So overall this establishment is a zero and the food is a BIG ZERO , if you are totally starving you will be forced to use this place but there is a store around the corner and a food court across the street. The ambiance is also a zero they have a bar shoved into a space the size of a quarter also. I do not recommend this establishment as I also felt a tone of racism and I have not felt that in all my reviews. Thanks everyone and enjoy good food. Avoid this place.

We stopped at Tequila's in Trinidad on a Wednesday night while passing through town, and it ended…read moreup being a really fun little find. The building itself is great -- adobe-style, colorful, and exactly what you hope a Mexican restaurant looks like. When you walk in, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. Chips and salsa came out quickly. The salsa tasted fresh and traditional, but it had a little more kick than I personally can handle. (If you like spicy, you'll probably love it.) We also ordered guacamole, because we order guacamole everywhere we go -- it's kind of our thing. This one surprised us a bit. Instead of the usual chunky guac with onions and tomatoes, it was more like mashed avocado with a generous amount of red pepper flakes. Unfortunately that pushed it into "too spicy for me" territory. For drinks we shared a piña colada, which was fantastic -- topped with whipped cream and a cherry and exactly what you want after a long day of driving. I ordered the combo fajitas (chicken and steak) and they came out sizzling hot on the classic cast-iron platter with peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Always a good sign when you can hear your dinner coming from across the room. It came with rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. The rice had a nice smoky flavor and the beans were topped with melted cheese -- both really good. They don't automatically include shredded cheese with the fajitas, but they happily brought some when I asked. My husband ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla appetizer, but when it arrived we both laughed because it was enormous -- definitely entrée-sized. He said it was really good and had no trouble finishing it. Service was a little slow, but the place was busy and had a great vibe. It felt like one of those local spots people in town love. It's also right near the highway, which probably makes it a popular stop for travelers like us. Prices were about what you'd expect for a sit-down Mexican restaurant. No military discount, but overall still a solid experience. If we find ourselves driving through Trinidad again, we'd absolutely stop back in.

I got the tequila enchiladas, and my mom got the tacos, along with a jalapeño margarita and some green chile on the side. Also, shoutout to our server Salvador -- he was super sweet and friendly!
