I'm giving the benefits of the doubt Just happened to be in the area and I probably stopped in the second day they were open. I generally try to avoid this and to make it worse. we were in the edge of hurricane IRMA so the place was packed being just off I-77. Service was confused even with the trainers present. Did not experience it myself but while I was there, there were at least two customers who ended up getting their orders wrong. My order was simple and one of the basics so it turned out ok but for Taco Bell, I have low expectations. I'll give it awhile. When the trainers are there, normally pretty good. Some of the drive thru people are nice. The card reader (only drive thru) often goes down and they refuse to take anything but cash even though the register inside works fine. The owner should be aware of the poor management in place. The powdered beans are often incredibly dry and rice is hard. They seemed to start putting more filling into the once skimpy burritos though. This is a plus when the filling is fresh-ish. read more

The worst Taco Bell experience I have ever had. Location Troutman, NC store number 32180. Ordered a Chicken Quesada, it wasn't even heated up & it was cut really bad. Took it back to have them replace it and I was told "Bull Shit it was made right". I asked for my money back and they ignored me and wouldn't do anything about it. I asked them again to fix the issue, they finally made a new one but took it in the back before bringing it up to the counter. I repeated that I wanted a refund but they ignored me again and wouldn't give me the refund. I would not eat it, I ended up going to a different location and ordered the same thing and it was made correctly & the manager at that location said that when an employee swears at a customer it is an immediate firing. So Taco Bell in Troutman, NC store number 32180, start firing those employees that worked on Sunday Oct 13, 2024 around 3pm. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT TACO BELL!!! I mobile ordered at 12:57. I live 25 minutes away so I figured my food would be ready by the time I got there. I stood there and no one even blinked an eye at me. I waited for an hour and still no sign of my food. I asked the lady there and she said they couldn't find my order. They only had one person working the mobile orders/dining room. There was 4 people working on the drive through side with 2 cars in the drive through the whole hour I was waiting. When she finally walked over, she asked what we were waiting for and I said my mobile order but I wasn't even interested in waiting any longer. I asked for a refund and she said "oh you can refund it though the app" but I was unable to since they have cleared the order and marked it as complete and said that I had picked it up when I didn't. I am very displeased with the way that they run this store and the customer service within this establishment. They were working incredibly slow and taking over an hour per order. This has got to be the most frustrating Taco Bell out there! This is mine and my boyfriends favorite fast food place. It is unfortunately the only location close enough to our house that we can get late night drive thru. This location has never, EVER gotten our order right the first time around. We finally had to start pulling away from the drive thru and parking to check our orders, without fail they are always WRONG! Last night we tried a different approach, going inside. Still, THEY SCREWED IT UP HORRENDOUSLY!!! Needless to say something has to be done. The managers are just a bunch of jokes. They aren't helpful, usually rude when we point out their mistakes in our orders, as if it were our fault they can't double check a Togo bag...... Wow! This is the NICEST Taco Bell I've ever entered in my entire life. Normally I don't even go inside because of constant bad experiences but I've been driving all day en needed to stretch my legs and when me and my fiancé walked in not just one person but 3 people behind the counter said hello smiling all happy and ready to chat! First off, let me say I've been excited about this new Taco Bell since I saw them building it. I live 5 minutes away and work until 10p most nights, so I'm always looking for something to grab on the way home. Went through today for two boxes and an additional burrito. The toppings on my items were wrong, my gordita had nothing but meat(no toppings, no sauce, nothing?), i didn't get my extra burrito entirely, and they were out of lettuce and cheese?! How does that even happen? It's a Taco Belll! Probably not returning to this location... Downloaded Yelp and was amazed that it's been open less than 3 months and already has 2 stars on yelp. Now i know why! Save yourself the issues and just make the 15 minute drive to Mooresville. 2 stars because technically I got most my food and was able to eat it without getting sick or dying. read more

This is the second time I have had a bad visit here. Today and the time before, I have come to this Taco Bell when it was raining. They do not have the best shelter for their drive thru so I can't sit there with my window rolled down. The person taking my order asked if I was ready, I asked for a moment to look over the menu. On both occasions, I had my roommate with me so I had to get her order and memorize it as well as pick something for me to eat. My order was roughly about $23 worth so I was ordering quite a bit, but I needed a moment to order. About every 30 seconds the woman on the other side would ask if I needed assistance. This meant I had to roll my window down and my car would get soaked from the rain. I could hardly focus on ordering because I was so frustrated. Not only that, but when I told her I needed a minute, she told me her time was going up and I needed to just go inside to look over the menu. We are in the middle of a pandemic, I have rarely gone anywhere but work and home. Going inside was out of the question. Not being able to get a moment to look over the menu without getting rained on caused a lot of frustration that I had to leave. She cared more about her ticket time than me being able to order. The first time this occurred I stayed but they didn't even get my order right. This time, I just left and went to the Statesville location. read more
