    Chicken Alfredo

Our absolute favorite taco place. The Barbados is delicious and we come grab lunch here at Las once a week. The Alfredo has a unique sauce with lots of flavor and the fall/winter seafood soup is worth repeating

Horrible dessert. We had the lemon cake to go. It was horrible. Super dry, hard as a rock, even after putting in the microwave to warm it up and moisten. The manager said they do not bake on premise. Don't order

    Trio salsa

Full plates have arrived.! The branzino was pan fried and delicious. Both halves--a full fish. The couscous was nice and the small vegetable salad was satisfying. Too much food for me to eat at lunch. As always, my companion chose 2 tacos and chips. We took most of the chips home. I will absolutely try all the other plates on upcoming visits.

Don't read all the signs outside. They don't have any of this stuff. Weird.

They have all these signs outside that list tons of menu items that they don't actually have. One, clearly states, "Chili." I asked inside about the chili and was met with a confused stare. "Your sign says chili." "On the glass signs?" "Yes." "Oh, we don't have that." What? I'll check them out and re-review but that's just annoying.

    Chicken tamale

My husband and I had dinner at Picasso one Saturday evening. On Saturday, tamales were available, so we tried one with chicken ($4.95). We also ordered the salsa trio and queso dip. Both were served with chips, and had we thought about it, we would have asked for just one basket of chips. Their chips are really light and crispy! The queso is also served with their salsa, FYI. For our meals, I had a Shrimp Too poblano cream taco, and my husband had an Americano with ground beef, and one of their new steak tacos. The shrimp taco had plenty of shrimp, but I thought the poblano sauce tasted a bit too much like mayo and could have had more poblanos. Their homemade flour tortillas are delicious, however! My husband loved both his ground beef and steak tacos. The ground beef one had a nice kick as well. The tamale was spicy and had plenty of filling, but I thought it was a bit dry, and needed to be dipped in salsa or queso. I'm not a big tamale fan, however, so take that feedback as you will. Despite all that food, we had to try a dessert from their expansive dessert case. We shared an espresso creme brûlée ($7), and it was divine. We'll definitely be back!

Fried Chicken Taco, Americano Taco and Barbacoa Taco - YUM!!!

I had low expectations cuz I'm not a fan of Barcelona Burger and it's the same owner, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's basically the same set up as Barcelona; large, open space with plenty of picnic tables for seating. There are even tables overlooking the kitchen, which was kind of neat. I ordered three different tacos and each one was unique, delicious, and bursting with flavor. I will definitely go back!

    Barbacoa, California and Fish taco!
    chris s.

The tacos and beef nachos were great. I had the California, Barbacoa and fish tacos and they were very fresh and good. Staff was very friendly. If you like the atmosphere of Alinos and Barcelona in Mooresville this is very similar. Great for large groups, large open atmosphere and very clean.

Everything about this place is a 10/10. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were all wonderful! They also have mango cart on tap.. hugeee plus.

    Beef Mediterranean plate

Food and service was fantastic - I ordered the beef Mediterranean plate and the ingredients tasted so fresh and was cooked to perfection. This place has an open and modern ambiance that we loved. Highly recommend for good tacos and Mediterranean!!

    Flour tortillas

UPDATED: we went back for a second time and I forgot to ask for corn tortillas(auto immune disease, GF person)for my tacos. They really should verbally offer, when ordering, as an option and not have a $0.50 up-charge. Corn tortillas are so cheap at the grocery store. The two men behind the registers were really rude when I went to fix my mistake and pay for my three corn tortillas $0.50 up-charge. I paid $1.25. When they brought my tacos out the tortillas were freezing cold, like they just took them out of the fridge and slapped the ingredients from the flour tortillas to the corn ones. The inside ingredients of my tacos were chilled because of the freezing tortillas. I'm not going back. It's not worth it, not worth the money. They did great with Barcelona and Alino's, but this place is a FLOP. Go to Rio 150 down the street for good-WARM tacos and freed chips and no up-charge for corn tortillas. First visit: The food is really good. My husband said the Philly cheese steak was awesome. Some negative points on their part: Corn tortillas are $0.50 up charge. So that's not fun for us gluten free people. The biggest downfall is the no re-fill on chips. We purchased the "Salsa Trio(which is delicious) with only a handful of chips. We had a ton of salsa leftover we were not allowed a chip re-fill and we couldn't even purchase a new basket of chips. We would have to buy the whole dish of "salsa trio" again, so another $3.95. Honestly, RIO 150 just opened down the street. I can get unlimited chips there and be charged less for a corn tortillas dish option. ‍

We went there twice last week and it was great! The food was very tasty and came super fast, the staff is super friendly and helpful and we liked the modern minimalist style inside! Especially the salmon plate was super delicious! Definitely a new go-to place for us!

Great food! A little pricey but it's Mooresville. They have wine, beer and cocktails.

coming in with a small group after Sunday meeting for a little something before dinner was kind of a big mistake. thought I could get away with ordering the vegetarian ques but I came out sufficiently large and tasty to ruin dinner... walk in and order at the counter same as the burger joint and pizza place with a refrigerated case of deserts sitting right there too - beer and sangria are available to the right plus they's got a couple of freestyle machines to satisfy your carbonated sweet-tooth. the dining area is clean and huge and barnlike in dimensions like the other eateries here; long rows of picnincky styled tables fill three high-ceilinged areas one of which looks down on the food prep area so you can get an eye full beforehand which is actually not a bad thing here. so yeah, the quesadilla was great and a person would never think to miss the meats, a small bucket of sliced japs comes with, plus some lively guac and salsa and peppers plus a satisfying portion of rice. really, if there was anymore it would be excessive... so we'll probably be back to sample the rest of the menu soon enough since it's almost a zero-minute drive from the house. the nachos next door looked amazing.

    Is the food spicy?

It depends on which taco you get. Some are a little spicy but not too bad so you can't enjoy them.

I noticed they also have a stage for live performances, which is a nice touch--I'd love to come back when there's a show. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise, Long Island Iced Tea, and my usual go-to, Liquid Marijuana--all were really good. Each of those drinks was around $14, although I'm not sure if the price ever changes depending on the night or bartender. My partner had what I believe was called Smoke on the Water #3, which tasted great and was somewhere between $8-$11. However, his drink didn't come with the smoky presentation (he had ordered it twice) we later saw a couple get closer to closing time--maybe it was just too busy earlier for them to do that little extra. One thing I really appreciated: no strict dress code. I was wearing a tank top t-shirt and still felt welcome, unlike the bar next door (possibly a dive bar) that turned me away. It's refreshing to find a place with great vibes, strong drinks, and an inclusive atmosphere. They also serve food, though I didn't get to try any this time. I forgot to snap a picture of the menu--sorry! But I'll definitely be back again. This place has good energy, solid drinks, and a chill environment worth returning to.

From load-in onward, management seemed far more concerned with monitoring and restricting the performance than supporting live entertainment. Before the show even began, there were already complaints about potential volume levels simply from seeing the sound equipment and production setup. The band and crew made extensive efforts to accommodate every concern throughout the night. The drummer used hot rods instead of regular sticks, the FOH engineer kept the band under very controlled volume levels, and even the lighting setup was intentionally kept minimal and non-intrusive out of respect for the venue. Despite all of those accommodations, management continued hovering throughout the evening and interrupting over very minor issues. It created an unnecessarily tense atmosphere for both the performers and production crew. Live music requires a certain level of comfort and trust between the venue and the people running the show, and unfortunately that never existed here. In addition, one of the bartenders consistently came across as dismissive and talked down to members of the band and crew during the night. At one point, they stated that this was "a bar that happens to have music," and proceeded to lecture me on how sound works and how customers would not be able to hear each other if the band was too loud. This was particularly frustrating considering the extensive efforts already being made by both the band and audio crew to keep levels controlled and respectful for the room. Everyone involved on the production side remained professional and cooperative throughout the evening, but the overall attitude toward live music and production made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As someone who works behind the scenes to help create a professional live experience, it was disappointing to feel like every aspect of the production was treated as a problem rather than part of the entertainment guests came to see. If a venue only wants extremely quiet background music with little to no production presence, they would likely be better suited booking solo acoustic performers instead of full live bands with sound and lighting support.
