If it's $1 around the country, it should be the same here. The food is alright if that's what you want : alright food. For "Real & Authentic" south of the border food, go to Taco Del Mar. They are in Kapolei and Wahiawa (Kunia), and other places I'm sure. THEY do it great. The prices are about the same, little more at Taco Del Mar, though, as I always say, "You get what you pay for". Avoid Taco Bell. It's a big chain shop and don't care about your happiness because there are 99 others that will eat there (and McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, etc.) because they don't have discerning taste. I do. If this were a clean restaurant there would be no moldy food...I will never eat at this location again. And I'm thinking about calling the agency that inspects restaurants! I cant seem to remember when my last visit to a Taco Bell was...but it did change a little. The menu board at the drive through looks way better than it used to. There are a lot of new items that were not on the menu before. I think my lack of visits to Taco Bell is because of the comparison to actual mexican food. Usual late night munchies go to place! Cheap cozzz. Nacho Bell Grande is my fave, my sister always gets the chicken Quesedilla! Then, they have awesome tacos.. I've had it with this Taco Bell location. If it's not fake money they're giving you then it's a messed up order. I've been foolish enough to return here after receiving fake dollar bills on three separate occasions over the last 15 years; I have no clue how many times my order has been wrong. Never been here in years, so I came here after shopping at Long's. I ordered a Supreme Pizza Hut Combo meal and my order was completed...fast. Turns out my Pizza was pre-made and sitting in the warmer. The cheese wasn't melted, but cold. The crust was dried out and hard. I complained to a manager and said they only have a warmer only, so they can't do anything for my cold pizza and walked away. It was the end of the day for him and went home. This place is RIDICULOUS! They bring the Mexican Pizza back and they can't handle the business. We walk up to the register inside wanting to order the Mexican Pizza and we were initially told it was going to be a 20 minute wait. We have now been waiting for an hour and our order still isn't ready. We have asked three times where our order is and how long more, but the guy keeps telling me, "I see your order on the screen." What the hell does that screen mean to me?!! So I asked, I don't know what that screen means, so why don't you just tell me how long it's going to be? He still couldn't answer me, nor could the manager on duty. As all of this is going on, it must have been the GM because she was in all black who stood there looking at me and clocking out, not even attempting to address the issue with me before she left. To make matters worse, he gives me my three slush drinks, that weren't even for the people we were here with to sit there and melt as they keep working at their own pace. Due to Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Launch, we decided to go through Taco Bell's line instead last night. It was just after 8:30pm and I get to the mic to order. Once I place mines, my boyfriend tells me what he wants. Everything was going well until it came to the drinks. The menu didn't have any information so I asked if they had coke and she said, "No, Pepsi." So I asked for Pepsi, but then she explains that they're actually out of it and then she continue to tell me what she's out of. She was talking a little fast and the mic isn't very loud or clear sometimes so I couldn't quite understand. So I misheard and asked to confirm that they don't have any Pepsi because she was naming everything they had to me prior. She gave off immediate attitude with a louder tone, "we don't have Pepsi, we are closing after tonight. It's our last night." My boyfriend was shock at the way she projected her response and got upset. Then when we place our order, and drove up to the window, we receive our order and paid. Before leaving, we checked our bag and we received two different things inside rather than the two chalupas we were suppose to receive so I explained to them before leaving and then someone else came out and explained they were out of there regular chalupas! Like... okay, why weren't we told before ordering it? They ended up using the double chalupas shell instead that made it look like a burrito and my boyfriend got more upset because he would've ordered something else if they told us prior to ordering it. Instead he just wanted to go and dealt with the switch up, but then he started eating one and notice we were given no taco sauce and there was BARELY any chicken! Quite upsetting, and I don't think we'll be visiting this location any time soon, even after the renovations. Went to this place since I was at work for awhile. All dreaded and tired from work so I needed something fast. Drive thru wasn't busy at all so it was a good sign thinking it would be okay. Omfg! Ok I'm forced to put a star. Came into this location tonight with my family to dine in. Placed an order for 2 Fiesta Taco Salads, 6 soft tacos, 1 crunchy taco and 2 drinks which came out to be $25.03. We placed the order with which seemed to be the Shift Manager. So we sat down normally like what you'd do in a fast food restaurant. After waiting for 40 minutes, my husband asked what the hell is taking so long. So i stood up to check on our order. I approached the lady at the counter and asked where's our order. They didn't have our order made they. For some odd reson their systems went down. We had 3 kids waiting patiently who were hungry. We told them why didn't they announce the systems shut down and checked with all the customers sitting in their restaurant. They could have clearly checked people's receipts and made their orders, but instead they waited till the customers came to them to say something. Where's the customer service?! Really?? We asked for our money back and stormed out to eat somewhere else. read more

This is in my neighborhood, so I do go there a few times a month. It's clean, and I've never had a bad experience, they are generally friendly, my orders are always correct and service is quick, even when the New Hope place in the same lot has some big event and there's a long line from them having lunch there. I get combos there, so I go inside to order (I don't want to have to bother telling the employee "hardly any ice in my drink please" and then getting a cup of ice with a little soda in it, so I go in to get the drinks the way I want them). I've never had a problem with non-English speaking workers there (as Jesse M. has), maybe they have different (English speaking) employees now! LOL! read more

First of all, I'd like to say half the people who have made bad reviews about this place (actually, any fast food place in general) is an entitled little princess. It's a fast good place, guys. C'mon. Not no five star restaurant like Red Lobster. Don't expect any more than you've paid for. I used to come to this Taco Bell all the time and honestly have had no problems. The food is..well, what fast food tex mex is supposed to taste like. And yeah, maybe the employees do talk in their native tongue while in earshot of the customers (which was frowned upon when I used to work at Burger King by my boss even if my employees were all Filipinos from the Philippines), but hey. People need jobs even if they don't have a standard American accent. For the most part, I can understand them just fine; but that's just me. Had a long hair in my griller and the worker ripped my receipt so poorly that I couldn't take the survey that was attached so I had to take to Yelp and Twitter to inform the company. Also, the ghost pepper griller is not hot at all (disappointingly) and they don't accept Discover cards. All in all, going to have to get tacos elsewhere. read more

In all of the known world there is only one Mexican restaurant that serves breakfast with guess what instead of rice and beans? Potatoes! What is going on there? Why don't you include a side of pasta in your lunch menu while you're at it? I'm joking please don't do that. All is not lost though. If I roll up in the drive through at the very end of breakfast I can cheat the system and get rice and beans just prepared of the lunch menu, in an egg, cheese and steak burrito with pico and wow look at that. I managed to pull out of taco bell in the morning with a complete Mexican breakfast.. Albeit the staff did display different levels of confusion upon this request. Sometimes they pause for a minute in shock. But a little fumbling and a couple minutes later its all there. Sometimes a burrito and a bunch of containers of sides. Other times it's done perfectly right and I even once received a compliment on my ingenuity. One worker smiled and said that's the kind of breakfast you get high to! read more
