It's possible we didn't order the right things, but overall it just didn't hit the mark for us. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but I'm not sure we'd give it another try. I ordered a small variety of items to sample...a marinated pork taco, loaded steak fries and for dessert a flan. After a bit of a wait (they make everything to order), it all showed up at our table. The pork taco was dripping with charred pork flavor and came with grilled onions on the side. The double corn tortilla kept everything together as I dug in bite after bite. When the loaded steak fries showed up, my jaw dropped to the ground! This thing was big enough for 3-4 people to share...whoopsy! The crispy fries came layered with strips of grilled steak, a white cheese sauce, guacamole and a sour cream drizzle. Damn these things were good! And if that wasn't enough, I also ordered dessert because I am a sucker for flan (I grew up in Miami and have eaten probably one million flans). Honestly, was not a fan of their version's texture (too grainy, not creamy) and their sauce was not as sweet as many others I've had...but glad to have tried it. The enchiladas were fantastic but the rice and beans were underwhelming. The beans almost taste like they came directly out of a can, flavorless and bland, but everything else was fresh. My son liked their chicken quesadilla but wasn't impressed with the ranch that came with it, though he usually loves ranch. If you're in Bloomington I definitely recommend trying this restaurant.
