i always go to taco bell, and there's usually no problems. but yesterday was DIFFERENT. yesterday it was about 12am when i went to taco bell right after the paranormal circus in rockaway so a lot of people wanted to get taco bell after because it was only 2 mins away. we were behind 2 cars and when we were ordering our food this guy said to wait a moment and so we did, but it was about 5 mins now so we asked and he said to wait again. at this point there was 3 cars behind us and 1 of them even started to honk at us. finally we ordered but it still took 10 mins to even get our food. before this we guessed that something must've happened upfront because the cars infront of us were not moving. at one point this guy that was a assumed door dash driver asked for the order because it said it was ready on the app and the drive through person didn't give him it even though the guy could see it in the back. he got mad and said he was going to report the store. when we finally moved up the drive through worker went on the phone as we already payed and we could see our food on the table, so it was cleary ready and the guy could give it to us but he remained on the phone until he was done and then gave us our food. i was confused because why couldn't he have just gave us the food instead of waiting for his phone call to be over. then when we left i started to eat my nacho fries and there was a weird goo on it. i always have had a good time with this taco bell but clearly not this time. i wouldn't go again with all this disturbance. read more

The worst Taco Bell! The staff is rude and don't honor any of the advertised specials! I will drive out of my way to another location to avoid this terrible place! I just read a review from Antonio R. who seems to have had the same type of experience that I have had there. I called Taco Bell headquarters in California and made a complaint. They sent me a coupon but they don't seem to do anything about the management at this location. Thankfully, a new Taco Bell just opened on S. It's Taco Bell. You know exactly what you're getting because every item has the same ingredients in it. You're basically just choosing your shell (hard, soft, nacho cheese or volcano)......or maybe you'll choose a soft flour tortilla shell for a burrito, crunchwrap supreme or quesadilla.- The choices belong to you.......and the flavors of all the fillings kind of just mesh together ....but in a good way. Just a little advice: Take it from someone who has loved Taco Bell for many years now.....the volcano is obviously on the spicy side, which in my opinion, is awesome.....so it's fantastic going down the hatch......but be forewarned, the experience is much, much worse in the a.m. Go get some! read more

I encountered a truly unfortunate experience at Taco Bell 321 Route 1,5 Wharton, NJ 035255. The worker, who was supposedly the manager of the store, showed me very disrespectful behavior. The incident happened in full view of the surveillance cameras and should have been caught on tape. I was also verbally harassed, and this should be documented as well. This event left me in tears and was definitely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. On May 15th, 2023, at around 1:30 pm, I visited Taco Bell for lunch. When I got there, nobody was at the counter by the two registers, so I went straight to an automated machine. Apart from the two of us, the restaurant was empty inside. However, quite a few cars were waiting in the drive-through for their orders. Despite my attempts to use the ordering machine, they were unsuccessful, so I decided to go up to the counter instead. A young lady working in the kitchen asked me to hold on while she finished what she was doing. After a brief moment, a man peeked around the drive-through corner and loudly instructed me to use the kiosk. When I explained that I needed further help, he vanished quickly without offering anything else. Once more, a woman instructed me to wait. This guy then advanced in my direction from the drive-through and gestured toward the kiosk, saying loudly that I should use it. As I tried to explain my difficulty, he bluntly told me the machine was there for a purpose and that I should be using it. Unfortunately, he disregarded my point of view and talked over me when I tried to explain why I was having difficulty ordering. He demanded that I stop talking and then said he'd teach me. I pointed out that I was the customer here and thus should be treated differently. Refusing to back down, he claimed it didn't matter; In order to place my order, I had to use the machine since the person at the counter was unable to help me. I inquired why there were two registers, and he shouted, saying that I should have figured it out myself. Gathering my belongings, I stood to leave, but he increased the volume of his voice. Not tolerating this kind of behavior, I calmly said to him, "I expect to be treated with respect as a customer. His reply was that he didn't care at all - so I politely asked him to leave me alone and requested someone else take my order. He kept hurling insults at me, which made me think that if I revealed I was a retired veteran, he might have some sympathy. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and he said he didn't care, suggesting that as an FBI OR veteran, I should be wiser than to expect anything different. At that moment, I felt so disrespected. When I requested to speak with the manager, he claimed he was the manager and refused to give me his name. To make matters worse, someone else had to come over and take my order because of the rude behavior of this person. I asked the individual who stepped in to take my order for the rude employee's name and was told it was Paul. Paul shouted at me even after I got my food. He clearly stated that he didn't care about me being an FBI, veteran. He also went to the extent of laughing and saying asking for his details was futile. I tried getting him to stop multiple times, but he kept on hurling abuses at me in an extremely loud voice. Eventually, it became clear that nothing would happen to him for his actions. I am a veteran and have done my duty for the country, deploying to Iraq 3 times, yet this experience is simply unacceptable. The Taco Bell staff had no respect for me as a customer, and this cannot be tolerated - it's not an acceptable policy. As someone who has always been appreciative of the respect and appreciation that this organization has shown towards veterans, I expect higher standards from those representing it. Hey there's a brand New Taco Bell in Wharton now. So I went over there to check it out and I totally liked what I saw so far. Had them prepare me up some Crunchy Beef Taco Supremes and they were outstanding so I figured I'd order a few more for the road, you know strickly for research purposes. These Reviews don't write themselves ya know. Sometimes I bet you wished they did though, but where's all the fun in that? Huh? Anyhow, obviously it's just freshly opened so it's clean as can be inside and the training staff seemed to do a Stellar job as the Service here is nice and friendly. Ok, I've already been here 4 times since the grand opening. Taco Bell is seriously my life, so when I found out it was coming to Wharton, I literally jumped for joy! They have always gotten my order correct, and the employees here are super kind and accommodating (not your typical fast food workers that get super annoyed fast). The inside is obviously super clean since it just opened. I also love that they have a drive thru when my butt is too lazy to go inside. Fun fact: they are bring nacho fries back in a few weeks. Staff: super nice, patient Environment: clean for now Food: yummy! And came out quick! We ordered lots of items and each one was good, my favorite is the crunchy gordita taco! The bomb! If I could give them zero stars I would. The food was fine cold but whatever that isn't the worst part. We went up to tell them that there were things missing from the bag and since we drove all the way back to get the missing items I feel like they should have made it again it was all cold. I went to the drive thru after leaving the nearby Costco at 143p( time on my receipt) . I ordered "2 crunchy taco supremes with mild sauce" . The line was quick, I paid and left. When I got home, I had 2 soggy soft tacos. I called the establishment 3times over a 15 minute span, to see if they would replace them.....never an answer. I live about 15 minutes away. Definitely the worst Taco Bell I've been to out of the the three I frequent. To start things off, the drive thru was way slower than it should have been. Then when I finally made it to the speaker and told the guy running the drive thru that I placed an order through the app, my order was wrong. When I alerted him of this, I was told that order modifications do not come through when a mobile order is placed - This is not true as both the Parsippany and Franklin locations have not had an issue with this. I finally made it to the window and was told to write down my order how I wanted it. Once I finally received my food, the tacos were soggy and the shells were broken. I literally JUST left the drive thru, stopped in a parking spot to check my order, everything was fairly right except I didn't get the Hot sauce i ordered with my soft tacos. Also had to wait in line for almost 10 minutes. It's a FAST food joint!
