After many visits to this location, I can confidently say that this is consistently the best Taco Bell location I have ever visited. There is a gentleman who typically works the late shift that I have spoke to a handful of times. I actually thought he was AI on the drive-through the very first time, which goes to show the unbelievable level of professionalism, customer service, and decency that he maintains. He is wonderful, and aptly sets the bar for the type of incredible service you will receive at this location. The rest of the employees I have interacted with throughout the day are all equally very friendly, professional, and competent. Beyond this, the food is premium quality every single time. Fresh, hot, well-proportioned, and especially delicious. Every single time. While I have only been inside once, the interior is very cleanly, stocked, tidy, and quite relaxed when I visited in the evening. I would absolutely dine inside again. The White Lake location (new) is making a superior product. Tacos get home all in one piece compared to the Waterford location. The wait is still a little erratic even with (0 - 3) customers in line. This location shuts down on a whim multiple times. Either they have no management or their management is inept. Today, Sunday Oct 3rd, we placed an online order and I went to collect. Had two separate orders. Both had chalupa boxes and Crunchwrap supremes and drinks. After the boy working drive through rudely told me that next time I need to specify that I have multiple orders before I order "instead of the way that I did it." We sat at the window for 15 minutes. I asked for no beans, add potatoes on my burrito. Instead, I got "no beans" written on mine, but shocker, it had beans. They added potato to the complete separate order. They smashed the crunchwraps (with pick instead of regular tomatoes) into a literal ball. No sauce after asking for variety. No napkins. And wrong sized drinks. This was the second chance I gave this establishment and they ruined it. So irritating to have a long day and get food so that you don't have to cook at home and to completely waste your money on garbage. read more

OMG! Going to this Taco Bell 034021 8100 Cooley Lake Road White Lake Michigan 48386 was a terrible experience. When we approached the drive through the lady was very rude. She treated us like we were bothering her by choosing to eat there. We visited this Taco Bell close to closing we cashed out at 9:49: 35 PM. When we got home and opened the bag we couldn't figure out what was what with 3 different burritos 1 was part of a box but all were wrapped in the same paper. We ordered 1 bean burrito but received 2 which equaled 3. The beans on both burritos looked ver old and dried out. We had to open them to figure out which was my husband's burrito supreme. There was no burrito supreme and my chalupas was half on the paper and half off, it was cold, messy and the bread was very hard. I had a hard time trying to eat it. We asked for sauce but never thought we would be given about 50 of them for 3 burritos, a chalupa and a taco. I called to complain but the phone rung several times then someone picked it up and hung it up. I called back and someone answered very rudely and as if though they were answering their own personal telephone. I thought I had the wrong number but I asked if I was speaking with someone from Taco Bell and she answered "yes what can I do for you." I asked for the manager and she said that she was the manager. I asked if the restaurant was company owned or franchise owned and she said franchise. I asked her when would the owner be in the restaurant because I have a complaint, and she replied that she couldn't give me the owners telephone number, but I didn't ask for the owners telephone number. Went here last week and paid $1.40 extra for two chicken chalupas, got beef. Today I used the app figuring they couldn't mess things up since they read my order back to me but instead of two veggie Mexican pizzas I get cold beef ones that look like they were made hours ago. It looked like all teenagers inside while the adult managers were smoking in the parking lot. Sent in a complaint but no response, ill call my bank and do a chargeback if I have to. Almost always get something wrong in our order. We're only two people, it's not super complicated. Today we were missing two items and one item was made incorrectly. Everything is always packaged recklessly. Chips spill all over the bag and break. Tacos come broken. We order chips and cheese every time and on multiple occasions have received no cheese. Last week we tried and the drive thru was not working so they weren't taking any orders. Today I tried and they said their computers were down. For a newer store they seem to have a LOT of problems. I have are here dozens of times. I have been through the drive thru and dining in. The drive thru is definitely much faster. I have never had any long delays in the drive thru. What I would recommend is that you check your food for accuracy before you drive away. Especially if you are making a special order like no lettuce etc. Although they are getting a lot better, you may encounter errors from tine to time. The management team knows me well because of my orders I make. I cannot eat lettuce or Fiesta sauce as it makes me sick immediately upon contact in my mouth. So they immediately either have a professional prepare my food or they watch the employee from start to finish. Let me first say I live in White Lake and eat Taco Bell two-three times per week. This restaurant gets order wrong at least 1 in 3 times. I have always gave them the benefit of the doubt. After three wrong orders in a row I called and was told that I did not need a name and just to tell them what they forgot next time I came through instead of waiting in line again because the lobby is not open due to covid. They got it wrong again the other day and a nice general manger walked out what was shorted and Also told he to get my two other crunch wraps next time I'm in and a name is not needed. So tonight I go there and tell them what the general manager said and a "shift leader" got on and told me I needed a name. "She was the one who firstly told me I did not need a name" I recognized the in-mistakable voice. She proceeded to argue with me and say I'm trying to het free food and starting swearing at me. I am not proud of what I also said after but I cannot believe the service at this place. I cannot even fathom how they are still open with all the complaints I hear about. I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to Waterford this time. My wife and all my friends and family have also had similar experiences at the same facility. Waited for my food for almost half an hour tonight. As I was waiting, another customer asked for her money back because she had waited for 30 minutes and still no food. The girl behind the counter got lippy with her and scolded her because she complained and then said she would call the cops when the customer got mad at her. Then as she walked away though the kitchen, that girl who now I know her name is Hailey, flipped her the bird. This customers small child saw it as well as three of us customers. Not cool. Terrible service. Period. We got in line, and per usual, there were a few cars ahead of us. What I hadn't anticipated was being trapped in the line for 20 minutes! This is completely unacceptable. I ordered our food, nothing crazy, just four simple things. I get to the window and the attendant had an attitude. I asked her for a special sauce on the side and she answered with a less than desirable tone and slammed the window shut. I offered to pay extra. I didn't realize this would be as if I was asking for her first born. I get my food, I glance in the bag, there's four things, we drive home. Of course one of my pricey items isn't there but a basic crappy taco is.. What am I to do? Call and complain? What'll that do? Clearly they don't care from the get go.. Taco Bell is my favorite fast food but this store has poor customer service. Ordered through the drive thru, got home and was missing some items and all the food was cold. Called spoke with a manager she offfered free food, told her I wasn't looking for free food but to let her know they are providing poor service. Immediately before hanging up and saying bye she started talking to another customer with me still on the phone.
