Not being from the area, I've always heard this was a much better version of Taco Bell. Boy was what I heard wrong. Don't go here unless you want high blood pressure because the amount of salt in those beans was unpalatable. It was seriously maybe the worst meal I've ever had. I paid in cash and my change I was given was very wrong. Lady had an attitude when I told her it was wrong and in the bustle of trying to get the right change, I got no sauce which is a big part of Mexican food but in hindsight, no sauce could've saved the debacle that I was served. 24 minutes. That is how long it took to make my order at lunch today. Not a big order either. A combo burrito and 2 soft tacos. Then when I finally get it, it's cold and the tort shells were hard. The manager watched his people struggle on the line and did nothing. Corporate needs to send someone in or just watch the camera footage from today. I managed a TB store when I was in my 20's. Stopped for some tacos. IMO these are the best chain restaurant tacos in our area. They do not mix anything with the meat except some seasoning so you can actually taste the beef. Service was quick thru the drive up. Order was correct. One thing tht was odd was we ordered 12 pack to go. 8 came in a taco salad bowl box and 4 came separately wrapped in a bag. Not sure why. Everything was fine, it was just odd. Also asked for the hotter sauce, but once again they were the same. Ended up using my own for a little more bite. I ordered online for the 1st time with Taco Bueno. It displayed a pickup time of 9:08 p.m. which was about 20 minutes. I arrived at 9:10. Not ready, no explanation, nothing said, actually. As I'm patiently, a male employee brought 6 tacos over to my empty Whole Lotta box, I said, "No lettuce, right?" He took them all back & said to the co-worker,"No lettuce. " (It was on my specifications). Eventually, my order was finished. Again, nothing said. It was now 9:17. They were not busy at all. we've been in this taco Bueno twice since Q and his crew have been working here. And they are the best taco Bueno crew this stores ever had. They have turned this certain taco Bueno around. They had lost our money for the last almost 2 years. we would drive to other parts of the town just do not have to go in this one because the service was so bad. We haven't eaten here in awhile so we decided to drive-thru for dinner to take home. I usually get the chicken chalada platter and I was pleasantly surprised that they now have a cheesy chicken chalada platter. It's delicious with the queso on top! Also I noticed they have greatly improved the quality of chicken and now it is a delicious shredded chicken instead of the little square chicken chunks they used to have. I love their beans and rice included in the platter. And their chips were hot and fresh. The young lady working the drive-thru window was very friendly and courteous. Also I want to point out their drive-thru menu is one of the very best I've seen! It was easy to read and spread out so you can actually read the different items. Apparently, the drive thru menu is not accurate and not followed by the staff. Even though guacamole is listed ad part of the big freakin quesadilla, it is actually billed as an extra item. No salsa. Small sour cream. I forgot I was disappointed last time I was there. Note to self. The problem, of course, is corporate refuses to update the menu. That is what the window person said. Everything about this restaurant screams "FOOD POISONING". I came in on a Saturday around 1 pm and there was one person ordering before me. I got to the counter relatively quickly and placed my order, 3 crunchy tacos and a combination burrito. Easy, right? Well...... First off, the soda fountain in the lobby was broken so they had to make my drink at the drive up window. Once I got my drink, I grabbed some Original Red sauce and found somewhere to sit where the music wasn't too loud on the speakers (it was uncomfortably loud all over). I waited about 10 minutes then went to the counter to check on my order. I watched 6 cars be served in the drive-thru while me and 5 other people waited for our orders inside. 10 minutes later (20 total) I finally got to a point where I had to leave to get back to work. I requested my money back, and the manager proceeded to throw a fit and said my order was next if I wanted to stick around. I didn't. Here are some other things I noticed. The floors are absolutely gross. Not sure they are ever mopped. Every table was dirty. I had to wipe down a table to sit at. You can see them making your food. Probably not a good idea at this place. There are scraps of food everywhere. One worker wasn't wearing gloves while making orders. Everything just seemed very dirty. I guess they care about the drive up customers more than the ones that come in to sit down. At least those folks don't have to see the nastiness that their food is being made in. Probably the rudest establishment in Midwest City. I really thought Taco Bueno in Shawnee was bad, but this one takes the cake. We stopped by the drive-thru and ordered 20 party burritos after a day of Black Friday shopping. We were not greeted when we got to the window, just got an eye roll when they had our order wrong and we told them it couldn't cost $3.74, we had ordered 20 burritos. It took forever, when they handed us the bag, there were only 15 burritos in there. We notified the drive-thru person and they didn't believe us, they wanted to see on the bag. It's a dang burrito! Finally they added the other burritos to the bag. Once we recieved the food, we found there wasn't a lot of beans in the burrito, but just a small spread. I really like the party burritos, but will look elsewhere when it comes to those kinds of things. read more

Let me start by saying, I love this Bueno. In my opinion it's the best place to grab quick food in Oklahoma. I've been coming here for years and everything from service quality to taste has been absolutely amazing. I never knew their names, but the employees who I got to see every time I ordered were always so polite and made the food like they actually cared about it. Today, however, I came through the drive thru after work, ordering a few burritos this time, and I was taken aback by what was given to me. An absolute sloppy mess in every single wrap. Burritos looked like Taco Bell burritos, mushed and wrapped so that the filling would come out either end if picked up. I managed to carefully reassemble my burrito to the best of my ability and picked it up. On top of this, the salsa tasted like watery tomato paste, with a little spice. The burrito itself was decent tasting but lacked that classic bueno cheese to bean ratio, I've known since I was a kid. Instead it was comparable to a Taco Bell burrito filled with Bueno's beans. I love this Bueno and I don't want to see it go down hill. I've been here after I've had a good day and the meal always seems to make it a great one. On bad days, this Bueno is what lifts my spirits. To me it's more than just another location in the chain, but clearly somebody within there doesn't feel the same way. I don't want any free vouchers or a free meal or to get anyone in trouble. I just want things to be done right. At the end of the day, I choose to go to Bueno over Taco Bell, Taco Mayo, Del Taco and the countless others because I love what Bueno delivers each and every time I order. I just went to the Taco Bueno at 61st and Garnett in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and got two big freaking tacos and a party burrito. When we got back to the office and I bit into the taco, there was no seasoning in the taco meat, tasted like greasy hamburger. I called the store at (918) 398-8212 and told the man and he smartalic said it has seasoning, and said you need to try the meat because it does not have seasoning and I said every other Taco Bueno I've ate at the meat did not taste like that. I then said I guess I should call corporate because obviously this employee did not care and he very rudely told me GO AHEAD AND CALL CORPORATE. Well I tried to call corporate but the phone number listed rings once and hangs up. It is really sad that they only fast food taco place with real food has lowered to this standard. read more

This might be the worst Taco Bueno I have ever been to. On a particularly busy, cold evening, I decided it might be best to choose the drive-thru. That was probably not a great decision, looking back. I ended up sitting in the line for roughly 20 minutes just to get to where I could place my order. There was no way for me to exit the line at this point, so I had to continue the journey. Upon reaching the order menu, I began to place my order and was informed it would take roughly 20 minutes to assemble this order. The lady on the speaker asked if I still wanted to make that my choice. I mean, look I'm stuck in this no-exit line already, so what good is that going to do to make me choose something else? Overall it took practically an hour to complete the transaction beginning to end. So much for "fast" food. I don't recommend coming here unless you're interested in wasting a bunch of your time for otherwise subpar food. I was the only one in the restaurant at 10:30 on a weekend, so the service was fast enough, but they need to work on their customer service! Before I even opened my mouth, the girl said "We only have breakfast.... and bean burritos." Luckily I was there to get burritos anyway. I sat in the restaurant for 30 minutes, and passed by 3 different employees, none of whom would even make eye contact, let alone say hi or thank you or anything else.
