The wet burrito was good but on the blander side and the sauce was a bit sweet. Also had three tacos. Tinga chicken was a bit sweet, birria taco had the most flavor. Don't bother with the ground beef as it was on the bland side, unless you don't like spices. It's good but needs a little more spices. read more

Wonderful authentic tacos. A little pricey in my opinion with the lunch special being 3 tacos for $15. We had the steak and burria tacos. All were good and came with the normal onion and cilantro. Nice seating outside with an umbrella to give shade. read more

Wow just wow! Never had the ability to have Mexican for breakfast, but the two ladies were amazing! The bus is so darn cute, they have a moving going and bar seats to sit inside or they have outdoor seating which is where we waited! read more

So good. So so good. This place is so cute and fun! Our first night in town we just wanted a good and fast bite to eat and the taco bus delivered! What a fantastic plate of tacos -very fresh! There are a few scattered picnic tables outside and I suppose on a not busy rainy day you could polish them off inside the bus on the bench though it's a tight squeeze when the line is long. We got the six taco plate carne asada with a side of rice and beans clips and guacamole to go. All of the food was so salty it was inedible. the meat was hard/fry and minced to burger status. The guac was brown and salty. Chips stale. Just all around bad.My wife tried to call so we could head back but they wouldn't answer the phone. The taco bus is one of the best things in Alpine. We couldn't wait until they came back for summer. They have amazing food for a very fair price. They make sure you get your money's worth. We got the shrimp nachos and we were worried they would skimp on the shrimp like most places but we were absolutely wrong. 100% worth the price. And the staff is always friendly.
