I feel like they rushed through our order because the young man asked me if it was okay if pieces of steak were inside my Chicken Fajita Nachos. well I mean of course not? no offense but they're called Chicken Fajita Nachos for a reason. After I said no to his question, he rolled his eyes and closed the drive-thru window. At that moment I felt like they were picking the steak from my food single-handedly. Which is a thought we all wish to not think of but we have to think about the germs entering our bodies due to cross-contamination. the sauce is pretty decent, Definitely artificially flavored, and had a nice tang to it. I live for the refried beans here. It's delicious, creamy, but a bit bland. the chicken quesadilla was not fully cooked on the outside, and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. there was NOT a generous amount of meat on either product and the prices here don't play. still coming back for the chicken fajita nachos though, hopefully, they won't fail me on my next trip. read more

Don't go to this one. I had a very simple order (2) Street Corn - 16 oz 1 had the sauce and cheese, BUT was filled only half way. Right off the N Mopac Expwy this restaurant resides within a shopping center. Food here has always been ok, inside could be a bit cleaner. I had to be a customer just to use the restroom which I can understand because I've noticed a few non customers just hanging out on the property patio area. I've had issues with this location's order accuracy, so I placed an online order with meticulous modifiers, scheduling it for pickup 15 minutes later. I arrived roughly 12 minutes after ordering, expecting a smooth pickup. Upon entering, the lobby was deserted, save for one person finishing their meal. The drive-thru was empty. Yet, it took several minutes for the staff to even acknowledge my presence. When I finally said, "Excuse me, I have an order for..." before I could finish, the employee snapped, "Didn't get no orders," and vanished. She reappeared minutes later, walked past me without a word, and disappeared again towards the to-go window. Geeez, it's been a year since my last review and the fresh salsa bar is still closed. On this visit I asked for beef fajita tacos, but instead I got two ground beef tacos. In other words, they got the order wrong So why do I keep punishing myself by coming here? The same reason as last time, I had a gift card that I needed to spend. Friendly older woman at the drive thru only saving grace. Decided to come in after ordering thru the drive thru. She put napkins and plastic utensils and salsa. Food was hot. That's where the good stops. Ingredients although fresh were NOT cooked. I opened an enchilada on a plate and was freshly sprinkled and not even melted. Could see it was small shredded cheese. Rice was old, some were hard and stuck together almost unable to chew. If I could give a zero I would. This is a restaurant I will never return to. I can get half decent quick Mexican at places like Taco Palenque or such. It had been raining, the whole restaurant leaks esp the restroom- surprised it wasn't shut down. I think I've only been to a taco cabana once before. I don't remember the food being served so terribly. The service was great and the food was ready quickly. The steak and other ingredients were seasoned and cooked well and the nachos and queso were fine. But the presentation and delivery failed miserably. The picture of the taco shows the glob of sour cream on one side of the taco only. Thankfully I had nacho chips to use as a knife to spread it before eating. What you can't see is the onions that I asked them to withhold, and that the taco was heated unevenly so that part of it was barely warm and the other part was colder than room temp. And those cups of salsa? Definitely unacceptable. read more

First I wasn't greeted, they saw me and looked the other way and continued on doing absolutely nothing.. then after waiting there for about 2-3minutes, the woman at the register asked me the name of my order, looked up at her screen, REMOVED HER FACE MASK TO PICK SOMETHING OUT OF HER BACK MOLAR, slid her mask back on, didn't wash her hands, proceeded to mangle with the glove box and slid on gloves. Not tasty, not flavorful, just salty. Today i also had the soft chicken taco plate which has always been my favorite. I used to love the flavor of the shredded chicken meat. Today, the flavor was gone. Is this a corporate wide change? Please bring back the flavor that made TC good. It was my poor judgement to order an Enchilada plate from anywhere other than an actual Mexican restaurant, but I've done it before at a different location with low expectations and surprisingly they were surpassed. Not this time. My expectations could not have been lower and yet the bar was obviously still set too high. This is the sloppiest "meal" I've ever ordered. The enchiladas are skimpy, the cheese and tortillas are hard, they look like they were just thrown in the box, the guacamole is runny and overly saturated with lime which tells me it's old and they attempted to freshen it up. The rice is over cooked and hard. The beans have a hardened film across them and burnt inside. Wow. Simply awful. read more

I usually hit up the PV location because its on the way home, but this was close and we were starving. Our "run in for some dinner" turned into over an hour long experience. We seriously could have gone to a restaurant and sat, as long as this took. IDK if they are understaffed, or the kitchen full of teenagers is just the epitome of most food joints now, but KLAWT!! The cashier either needed a break, some speed, literally, or a large dose of coffee, because she was almost comatose. She was not unpleasant, but she was about as dry as day old bread. It was late, I get it, but jeeze. It just seemed to be the theme of this establishment. All in all, no one asked if I wanted to get a dessert or something "on the house", no one- manager specifically, asked if he could refund our ticket. Nothing. He just said that it had been a bad day all day, and pretty much left our table at that. The manager was maybe 19. After the second quesidilla came and had completely unmelted cheese (after my unmelted and stale cheese enchilada) I said to all 3 of the folks behind the counter that "this aint it"--- and had to actually ask for my own money back. All in all, my boys and I ate our food, so I didnt want to have our whole ticket comped, but that quesidilla was NOT getting paid for. First off I should have seen the reviews then I would have not put myself in this situation. I was ordering food for lunch when the person in front of me was over charged. The manager Ernesto was trying to resolve the situation and had me standing in line waiting forever. Someone else offered to help in the meantime I placed my order and then was told they didn't have what I ordered. Mind you there was no cooking going on, grills didn't have any food in them. It's lunch time for crying out loud and you don't have any chicken?! Wow! Love this Taco Cabana. Food is always perfect. People are always friendly. Even though I live in Georgetown I eat at this Taco Cabana. The one in Georgetown is consistently bad tasting, really slow service & rude guys that work there. I get breakfast tacos for my office every Saturday. We get a box of Tacos TCs way and it's only about $16. Cheap to feed my entire office ! We've stared getting their margaritas to go. Yum!! I love the mango.
