I went in the morning for breakfast i got the torta which they was limited on your choice of meat due to them not having them available i choose the chorizo one since my only other choice was bacon they where out of country sausage or carne asada ‍they looked good in picture when i got it it was so messy looked and tasted like it had been premade cause the bread was tuff around the edges but soggy in the middle it costed me 15.33 but i checked my notifications on my debit card and they charged my card twice idk what for one was 15.33 which was for the two tortas and 2 small drinks but they also charged me 15.00$ for i don't know what i tried calling them but no answer looks like im gonna have to call bank and get a new card due to fraud read more

If I could give a lower score I would. On 11/28/2023 at approximately 12:50 PM I went to this location hoping to get a quick meal. When I walked in there was one customer getting some condiments at the self service bar. He was the only customer in there. I walked up to the counter, no one approached me. After a couple minutes a blonde woman came out from the back carrying a cash register drawer. She said she would be right with me. She went into another area never to be seen by me again. After a couple more minutes another person appeared and went over to the other cash register carrying what looked like a bank bag. He asked how I was doing, I replied fine. He then left, not to be seen again. I waited a couple more minutes and a woman came out from the kitchen area, I assume she was the cook as she was wearing an apron. She said something to who I think was the original blonde woman. At this point I left. I did contact the corporate office via Facebook. That was not worth much. Don't waste your money! I'm actually embarrassed for the owner. My daughter couldn't eat her burrito. Super dry meat. My chicken fajita tacos had three tiny pieces of chicken. I should have gone with Taco Bell of would have been cheaper and more food. Lesson learned. read more

We had lunch here for the first time today. The food was good. There were a bunch of dirty tables that needed to be cleaned off and a couple of the seats were broken. The service was kind of slow. I drove thru drive-thru to order 1 taco and 1 peach empanada. I was behind a BMW who took 20 minutes to place order and get their order. When I drove up to the window, manager tell me to drive to other side. I asked why and told her she let the BMW sit in the drive-thru FOREVER. and did not demand they drive to the other side after which she THREW the food sack at me. We had to clean our own table off with wet napkins that disintegrated and the crew decided to change stinky garbage cans right next to us when the restaurant was NOT very busy -- YUCK Service was uneven. The cashier was efficient but the girl who brought our food out brought our food -- and then came straight back with someone else's food too. She was going to serve the 4 of us 8 entrees. HELLO??? Carne guisada was uneven too - some chunks were tender and others were dry dry dry! I think they recycle the gravy by adding mixing the new carne guisada with the leftovers. Pico de Gallo was NOT fresh -- the tomatoes were limp and translucent, and they had given up all their water, which tells me this is last nights pico. I see a pattern developing here -- and it isn't good. Dirty dining room, strange service, cluelessness about when and where to do the trash, and a manager showing WAY too much cleavage (and not wearing a hair net). While we ate I placed an order "to go" and when it arrived it was in disarray and just dumped into the bag by a new, unenthusiastic, employee. What I would like to say in this review, is that the manager (Johanna) did an excellent job of correcting the employee and making things right. My family and I stopped here for lunch on our way home to Houston from Grapevine. The young man that took our order (Ethan, or Evan perhaps) was super friendly and polite! He was very courteous and personable. Both my wife and I ordered the Cabana Sampler which came with a hard shell taco, a cheese enchilada, a flauta, refried beans, spanish rice, and two flour tortillas. It seemed to have taken take a little while to get our food but when it arrived at our table, our meal tasted fresh, and the temperature was were it should have been (hot, not warm). We don't eat at Taco Cabana very much, but this was a good experience! read more

Had Steak Street Tacos as a plate and was not disappointed. Unfortunately Taco Cabana doesn't have locations in the Midwest, so I won't be having any more until I make my way back down south. I'm very disappointed in this Taco Cabana! I placed an order online which I cancelled before it was made by calling the store to confirm I didn't need the order anymore, because a meeting I was going to was cancelled on me. The lady in the phone told me that she would cancel the order and I would get a full refund. That was 11 days ago. And still no refund. They keep saying it's a corporate thing and they will refund my money and call me. But no call no money. I called again today and spoke to a manager. I told her how disappointed I was and that needed to be resolved today! Then the phone went blank and no one was there. I tried calling back but the phone keeps ringing. This is the worst location but I work in ennis so I sometimes do not have a choice, every time I go I am more disappointed than the last. corporate if you are reading this, this location needs to be on undercover bosses. I posted a picture of what my breakfast taco looked like after waiting 15 minutes on it. also, they save lunch food under heat lamps all day long (like flautas) and then when you get them they are horrifying and chewy instead of crunchy. this location needs to be shut down If they cant get their shit together. read more

Stopped in while traveling.. food was fine but the place was filthy. I arrived at around 11:15am for an early lunch and every single table was dirty so i wiped one off myself. I watched several other customers struggle to find a table. The lettuce and cheese particles on the tables didn't stop one employee from taking a 15 min break on her phone. The salsa bar was also disgusting dirty. I would suggest additional training to teach the staff how to keep the place presentable. I rave so much about Taco Cabana, and I finally convinced one of my skeptical friends to check it out. We should have gone to a different location, but this was on the way out of Dallas back to home in Houston, and he thought let's do it. Big mistake. We stood for a while at the register without acknowledgement. One of the girls ran food and cleaned. Didn't say anything to us. Another girl looking at us, though trying to hurry while preparing food, didn't say anything until she finally came to take our order. Definitely friendly, but we were already getting annoyed at this point. Now onto food: horrible. I ordered chicken fajita nacho, which was a glob of harden cheese. It looked and tasted so unappetizing, not the usual Taco Cabana quality that I raved about. Their soda machine didn't work at the time, and when they gave us soda from the drive through, the soda was flat. The nice girl kept not telling people that the soda machine was not working, and one after another, people were frustrated at the machine, all in the while kept having to go tell her about the soda machine.
