We had our Grand Opening Last month and I had Danny work our catering. He won me over the phone. I called many places and I couldn't stand the cockiness of everyone except Danny. He took his time with me, negotiated some but I took a big chance with him because he was a little higher than others but he made me feel comfortable. Can I just say that his food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I mean there's lots of taco carts/trucks and 90% taste the same, OK but quick, easy and cheap! Ive used this taco catering several times now and they never disappoint. They show up early to prep and make sure everything is ready on time. Staff are friendly and professional. Staff wear mask and glove for cleanliness. Every time I use them for my parties my guest are happy and satisfied. I was happy to see that they've made changes to their setup and now make individual cups of salsa and other condiments. Puts me at ease during these crazy covid times. I booked Taco Cart Catering for 150 people for my husband's 40th birthday party. I wanted the convenience of a "taco man" with a little more "elegance" for an elevated style party - and it was perfect. The team was very professional, and the layout of the food was not that of your average taco man. Their equipment and even their serve ware for the salsa bar and other fixings matched my decor and the "elegant" theme perfectly. I also used their photo booth service and all the guests were delighted at the experience. I was looking for a service to cater tacos for my birthday party this past weekend, and contacted several places. Taco Cart Catering had the quickest response time and Karla was very courteous and professional in all of our email interactions, so I decided to go with them. I purchased the 50 person taco package with salsa bar, quesadillas, etc. and it was all very easy to request online through their website. The caterers arrived on time, the taco cooking station and salsa bar looked great, and the ladies were friendly and helpful throughout the evening, even packing up the leftovers at the end of the catering service in the containers I provided. The tacos, guac, and quesadillas were all fantastic. All of my guests were raving about how good the meats were (we went with the steak, chicken, and marinated pork), my vegetarian guests were able to get delicious quesadillas, and the strawberry lemonade aqua fresca was light and tasty. Even the rice and beans were great, we had very little leftovers in the beans department! Overall I would definitely recommend these folks and will keep them in mind for the future if I decide to have tacos catered in the Long Beach area again. read more
