The barbacoa and menudo are only on the weekends and maybe one is Friday and the other is on a Saturday, so call first before you go and ask them first. They have limited seating because they are located in a convenience store, but do not let that deter you from going. However, be forewarned that they are packed around lunch time, workers in the area go there if their lunch break is 1 hr or less. They are however( the chefs) super fast and efficient! This is not your typical Tex-Mex, bland, sad, flavorless, depressing burrito. You can actually taste the homemade ingredients, cooked with care, experience, and the kind of flavor that reminds you somebody in the kitchen truly knows what they are doing. I decided to try them because they are located right across from the church I pastor, and let me tell you, I will definitely be coming here more often. One detail I absolutely loved was not just the chic decoration or the incredibly clean dining room, but the small cross in the corner where people can write their prayers and nail them to the cross. Was it counter service or table service? No one really pointed me in the right direction until my waitress Claudia told me to have a seat and she would be helping me. Tacos Toreados came with 3 tacos with a protein of your choice on a flour tortillas and what makes these different was that they came with grilled onions and mozzarella cheese. I also went with a bacon and egg taco just so I can really judge the place. What I didn't expect was how massive the tacos were going to be. I got mine with pastor and fajitas. It looked more like a tostada with the toppings covering the whole surface of the tortilla. The fajita and pastor was seasoned beautifully and was very tasty. The onions were sauteed just right but I do like raw onions and cilantro on my tacos a little better. The cheese was a nice addition as well. I barely got through two and on the third I just ate the meat. I saved just enough room to try the breakfast taco which was very good. Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke.
