This was my first time trying salad house and I will say it wasn't too bad. I got the Caesar chicken wrap with a side of fries. I also got an order of cheddar broccoli soup so I could eat it for dinner the next day. The Caesar chicken wrap was a little on the bland side and a little dry. To me it definitely could have used more caesar dressing. One thing I did like is that my wrap had a nice portion of chicken in it. As for the fries they were also just okay. I did enjoy the cheddar broccoli soup when I had it for dinner the next day so that was pretty good. If I was to return I think I would try one of their salads instead. read more

Im usually very satisfied with the service here as the food is always delivered in a timely manner and there hasn't been a dish I wasn't a fan of! However today , after a slight issue with DoorDash I was met with the NASTIEST customer service. The woman working the front desk who goes by "Anna" as presented on her name tag or "Annie" as she so formally introduced herself over the phone. Her attitude was disgusting and so distasteful. Especially since she was met with nothing but kindness! I was simply trying to resolve a simple mix up and she wanted to catch an attitude left and right. I made a call shortly after placing my order, asking to speak with the Manager who I later learned is named Chaz. However little miss Annie and her sweet little attitude picked up once again. Being extremely dismissive she didn't want to take my number or transfer the call for me. I think Chaz needs to have a long talk with his employees about how to answer the phone, and having a little patience. And I truly hope this Anna or Annie girl has the day she deserves and learns to smile a little more. A little kindness goes a long way! I really enjoyed this place! First time here and it's nice and open to see the kitchen, with seating and 3 kiosks to order from making everything really easy. I liked the variety of choosing sauces, breads and such. The crispy mutha cluka is a great size and really delicious. My mom had a chicken quesadilla had plenty of chicken. The salads are okay and reasonably priced. I do really enjoy the Reel Love salad, but every other salad I've had has been a little lackluster, and Salad House is not very generous with the protein. I've also had old tasting, wilted, soggy leaves in my salad, which, for a salad place, should not be happening. I usually find myself wishing I had more dressing. The menu is pretty small for a place that just has salads. I feel like there should be more options and more inventive salads if salads are supposed to be their specialty. I've been going to Salad House in Westfield for years - it's a casual place perfect for a quick and tasty meal. I've only ever ordered the fiesta chx salad - it's good and sometimes I like to stick with what I know. The ingredients are relatively fresh - I think sometimes the lettuce is a little soggy - but it's always filling and satisfying. The food is honestly good enough to keep me coming back, plus it's convenient and perfectly placed in the downtown. Not only that, but the price and portion ratio is fairly reasonable. It's definitely not the best I've had, but like I said, it's good enough. I rarely eat in Salad House - it's a clean environment, but would prefer to take my food home. In the summer, I really love eating my lunch outside at their tables on Quimby St, which is always so lovely! Takeout and delivery are also very easy to navigate! (Sorry, sis!) They're so crispy, salty and sweet at the same time, and just drizzled with some sort of amazing tangy sauce. Salad House has a very efficient and effective way of handling the coronavirus right now -- they have all of the to-go meals labeled and lined up on a shelf when you come in so that there's zero direct contact with anyone else. A good modern healthy option in downtown westfield where most of the cheaper options are less healthy like chipotle or inspiration roll. It's quite similar in concept to chopt or sweetgreen with a $10 salad (bit expensive?) but I like the atmosphere and the customizability of it all. Homemade meats laying on top of fresh roasted and fresh cut ingredients. Is is that complicated? With Panera Bread closing in Westfield, this seems to be the new hot spot for semi healthy options, and Westfield moms with their young children running wild. I ordered take out for my office.
