My family and I have been coming here for years. The customer service has always been great. I really enjoy a fast Mexican restaurant thats also good. We were short on time this recent visit, but wanted Mexican food. We were in and out within 30 minutes! The place is small, but there is enough seating to dine in and when you do, you get access to their salsa bar. I enjoy the creamy jalapeño. It's good to mix with the red salsa and eat with the chips or to put on your tacos. The food has never disappoint. You know how some foods are just comfort foods? Thats how their food taste. It's comforting. This recent visit, I got the fajita tacos and a cup of elote. Which I love that they offer a cup of this! I've also had the regular fajitas, street tacos, carne asada and my husband usually gets the California burrito. I don't think there's anything we have chosen that we didn't like. The good: Tasty. High quality. Fresh. The bad: Slow. Pricey. We ordered our food to go. We were told it would be 30 minutes. Hmmm okay. That's a long time but we weren't in a hurry and everything is made fresh. Alas - it ended up taking an hour. So we waited in the restaurant for a half hour beyond the 30 minutes we were quoted. Yeah that's a loooong time. Definitely on the pricey side. But not terribly so. But the food was quite tasty. No complaints there. read more

Great job tonight on a sit down dinner!!! This was a last minute spur of the moment decision to go here for dinner and let me tell you it was a good choice!!! All of our meals were excellent with good portion sizes and delicious flavor. Everything was fresh made so it wasn't like there was a long wait, just the amount needed to make the various dishes. I'm so happy that I stumbled across this gem! I noticed a sign that mentioned Mexican food to go, so decided to stop by. This was a small an intimate location with a few tables for those who would rather dine in. I ordered the Veggie Bowl for my son and the Pollo Fundido, which was chicken with rice and veggies topped with cheese sauce. I also ordered a couple of chipotle shrimp tacos just because. They were right - the service was pretty fast! My order was ready in about 10 minutes. By the time I got home, my food was still hot. Everything we ordered was amazing! Great Mexican food in a pinch, quaint little establishment nestled in a really good location in a bustling busting area of Southaven. The best thing about the entrees I ordered was the tortillas, the deep fried tortillas were perfect and the street taco shells were amazing, soft but golden, tender and crispy. The chicken and steak were good but nothing spectacular, prices were on par with the quality of the food, so overall an okay place to grab some decent Mexican dishes. read more

Having lived in the Southwest part of the country for 20 years, and in Mexico for 18 months, I tend to be demanding with Mexican food. So the best way to describe food at this restaurant is "close enough, but good". We tried both the street tacos with steak and the Fiesta burrito with steak as well; it was good. They offered us complimentary tortilla chips, which I thought was a nice touch. I stopped in here one afternoon to get something to drink while my friends were at the creamery next door and the food smelled fantastic. I finally came back to try the food. On the surface the place looks simple enough. You order at the register and the food is brought to your table. But this is no Blue Coast Burrito or Chipotle. I ordered the enchaladas tapatias and my boyfriend ordered the mixed quesadilla. We ordered a side of chips as well and two carne asada street tacos. The portions were large, moreso than your average Mexican restaurant. The chips were fresh and there's an entire bar of salsas and toppings to choose from. The restaurant has bottled beers. My enchaladas were wonderful. Flavorful, not to spicy and fresh. There was so much I took part of my order home. My boyfriend ate all of his quesadilla and I took a bite or two. The caramelized onions and peppers were perfect. The carne asada taco was along the line of authentic food, with meat, onion and cilantro. The chimchurri sauce on it made it very tasty. This place is great! My husband and I went last Saturday with our 2 year old. We ordered the fajita nachos, a burrito, and a chicken quesadilla for the 2yo. It was delicious and the salsa options were all so good! The green one (I think it was salsa verde) was my favorite. The portions were great and the prices were, too. The only thing he is missing is some lengue and pulpo tacos and maybe tamales. But listen, if you want some lip smacking Al Pastor and carnitas and fish tacos... hit this place up. She and her husband live nearby and go often so we decided to give it a shot We ordered several different meals/items as an impromptu, late night dinner. Not only was the order correct, but it was all delicious!! Cheese dip was great, ingredients for tacos, etc. were really fresh. My husband got the California grilled tacos (I think that's what they're called) and raves about them. Everything from the dip to the entrees to the sides were great!! Tiny little spot on the end of a strip mall. Whoa. Salsa, sauces, flavor, dynamite. Best I've had since I left central Texas. I'm amazed. Service was fast and friendly. Street tacos were full of meat, onions, and cilantro. Meat was tender and cut perfect. Elote was soooo good. Tons of spices and lime served hot! Loving the location of this new fast casual Mexican restaurant! Very clean, crisp, and modern decor and environment. Came in with co-workers to grab a fast lunch and were pleasantly surprised. It's located right next to the DC schools. I tried a combination meal with a soft taco and a quesadilla. The quesadilla we thought was the soft taco at first so small but still delicious and good portion for combination meal. I got rice and house potatoes which were good! I'm glad I tried them. The rice was a little dry but I'm sure varies day to day. I got the chips, guacamole, and salsa which costs 3-8 depending on size and what you get. Glad to come back and try more options. We ordered nachos the other night and called in our order. The menu online makes no mention of any kind of cheese on the combination nachos. So we called to ask if there was and what kind. The girl was so rude and seemed so irritated when I asked and said, "OK, goodbye." I said, "wait, we would like to order." So we ordered one combination nacho with no cheese sause and one just how it comes. When I went in to pick up she nearly gave us the wrong order and when we got home our order was completely wrong. The ticket was correct but they left off the cheese sauce on the one and the cheese altogether on the other. So we had dry nachos with little flavor. I have been back several times. They make the best Sopa's. So friendly and the the dining room is clean and sanitized. We have had tacos, burritos, salads, chips and salsa. I have found my perfect stop on the was home from work. Easy exiting onto Central and a light at Goodman. This is nice with the busy traffic on my way home. read more
