The tacos and food we've tried here so far have all been delicious, and they have $3 taco Tuesdays! My favorites are the pork taco and the fish taco but beef and chicken ones were also great. Plantains were also yummy, wings were pretty good, and I recently tried the churros which were not too sweet and I liked them too. I wish they were open earlier so we could order for lunch! Taco gato shares space with Medusa brewing company so there are also craft beers and fun activities like trivia night and music bingo too. Taco Gato is one of our favorite places to eat in the area. They have a small menu but everything is really fresh and tasty. The nachos are the star! They are a nice sized portion and layered so that every bite has great homemade tortillas and a full pile of toppings. There isn't any melted cheese and that's a GOOD thing! While I love cheese, this makes for a more flavorful experience without the oil. One of our close friends from NYC is eager to come here wherever she's in town just for those nachos! I don't drink, but most of the people we bring here do and they always appreciate Medusa's extensive beer selection. They particularly enjoy the sampler flight so get them acquainted with the options. Having live music is a nice plus. Taco Gato is part of Medusa Brewery. It is usually hopping so grab a table when you can. The tacos are generously filled and delicious, the best in the area. The beers are good, the hard seltzers are dangerously yummy. We drop by whenever we can and are always satisfied. Only negative is it can be really loud and service can be slow, though always friendly and efficient. read more

I went there on Thursday, 7/10/25 Ordered the nachos, and wow, so poorly executed! First off, they came in a too small bowl, making them hard to eat. Next, there wasn't any cheese! You read that right- no cheese. On nachos. Chips were the very solid kind, the type that seems upscale/healthy, but no one actually likes (and certainly isn't suitable to use for traditional nachos). Taco Gato is attached to Medusa Brewery. Just have a seat and the brewery staff will bring a menu to you! Everything I ordered arrived fast, hot, and delicious. Perfect accompaniment to the beers on tap. I visited the brewery during a work trip, so I don't know when I will have a chance to return. When I'm back in the area, I will definitely check this place out again! read more

Kind of a weird set up to order tacos. We saw a taco shop, and went in to order tacos to go but they said we had to order through the waitress from the joined barroom. We couldn't order directly with the taco counter. Ok no problem but kinda wanted to talk directly to the taco people about their business and talk taco stuff. So the waitress took the order & she added the tip to the bill so just be aware of that. Tacos were average but will try again in the future. read more

Great laid back atmosphere. Super eclectic and colorful with amazing tacos. Nothing fancy just great food and wonderful service. Located in a shared space with Medusa brewing, which makes a great combination. read more

Went there for lunch. Then again for brunch not knowing they had a brunch menu. I was craving the pork belly smash burger I had and some of their sour beer with raspberry syrup. Not knowing that they weren't going to serve that during brunch hours on Saturday, I ordered the sweet potato hash and added homemade chorizo. It was delicious. And the beer I was craving? They had it with orange juice for brunch, making my first beermosa. I still can't decide which was more delicious. Everything was safe and social distanced during the Friday night and Saturday morning that I went with my 3mos old. In fact, both times there were lots of other kids/families running around. Beer is tasty Some of the food was nice - kielbasa plate, burger, beer cheese sauce But, the tacos were NOT good! Carnitas taco was literally a pool of oil and the fish taco was weirdly flavorless. Really disappointing. Hoping to try again in the future. This is also the second time I've been to Medusa with live music. The artists are great but you can't hear a damn thing! It was 5pm on a Saturday and there were kids everywhere in the dining room. Maybe push the live show back another hour or two? read more

Food wasnt even cooked properly and way overpriced. You can only order via a QR code which sucks when wifi/service is slow. Took 15 minutes just to order online. An additional 40 minutes for f'n a sandwich and fries which were cold. Wasn't even busy here. Wtf man. read more

I did not go into the actual restaurant, I ordered the food while at the adjoining Medusa Brewery. I got 2 tacos, one brisket the other Carnitas. They were small but the bartender said 2 would be plenty, she was really really wrong . If they had been better I would have needed at least 3-4 of them. Price was certainly reasonable at $4 each. Unfortunately they were both extremely salty, to the point of being inedible. It tasted like the top fell off the salt shaker. I love salt so if I say something is salty most people wouldn't be able to tolerate it. There was some good flavor but the salt overpowered it. Maybe a ploy to sell more beer? As always I wish I could give half stars, I would give them the benefit of the doubt with a 2.5. The bartender said I should have sent them back but they were gone in 2 bites each. I had a delicious experience at Taco Gato. I ordered the guacamole, pork belly tostada, brisket curado taco, carnitas taco, and pollo rojo taco. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent. My favorite was the tangy-ness of the guacamole and the sauces on the tacos especially the Dijon salsa on the brisket taco! I would recommend everyone that hasn't tried this place to go try it!!! read more

Great food, great service, cool vibe's all around. The only thing missing? Serve limes with the taco's. There's a reason that's the way it's done that way in the rest of the world, the acid from the lime cuts the saltiness of the meat. Properly combined equals perfection! read more

Best tacos in New England. Not kidding. I did not even know Hudson, MA and just came because I needed to drop my kids at a party. Original carnitas, brisket and much more. Corn tortillas, house made salsas, perfectly marinated and cooked proteins. Chilango-style. I felt in the DF. The restaurant is inside Medusa Brewery which is also outstanding.
