Beautifully plated food, but the meat was rather tough and bland. I just don't think there was enough seasoning in the entire place so I was kind of lacking. Inside is culturally decorative and enjoyable scenery. Their chips and salsa is a little bit spicy for those that may not like spice.

I love the Mexican vibe at this restaurant. I took the enchilada which wasn't great but Fajitas were fine. The margarita was good.

    Hornitos Margarita straight up!

I love Mexican food and this restaurant is consistently great every time! They have the best margaritas! They use fresh lime juice! The ambiance, service and food are all 5 stars. I've had the enchiladas, fajitas and the ceviche and all delicious! I travel around the world for work and these margaritas are absolutely the best. They just use lime juice , triple sec and your choice of tequila. Check this restaurant out because you will not be disappointed. Enjoy

We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!

Always a warm welcome once you arrive, Ember & Alma is not only a place to get delicious food but a spot where you can feel connected and a sense of belonging. Whether you're settling in for a quiet date night or a leisurely dinner with loved ones, the cozy atmosphere wraps around you like a warm embrace. But it's the food and drink that truly steal the show. The menu is a love letter to Brazilian and South American cooking -- bold, soulful, and bursting with creativity. Every dish tells a story of a rich culinary tradition, taking you on a journey from bright, sweet notes all the way through to deep, satisfying umami. Both the cocktail menu and non-alcoholic offerings match this spirit, offering drinks that are every bit as thoughtfully crafted as the plates they accompany. If there's one dish that captures everything Ember & Alma stands for, it's the bananas bravas. Memorable in the truest sense of the word, they are the kind of thing you find yourself thinking about days later, and the reason you'll inevitably find yourself making a reservation to return.

I asked to talk with the manager. He listened and he did agree that we should have been informed of the music and the server should have checked back with us. One of our friends was on crutches and the woman that greeted us was extremely accommodating. She was at the hostess stand but I assume she was a manager. She wanted to make sure my friend would be comfortable at a high top otherwise would try to find us a booth. We took the high top and she offered an extra chair for our friend to elevate her leg. This little interaction was simple yet rare these days and it really started the meal off nicely! The service was a bit slow but again it was BUSY and they were training new staff so we didn't mind. It gave us plenty of time for chatting and drinks -- so many options including actual mocktails. We ordered the short rib quesadillas to start and they were loaded with meat. Each of our entrees were delicious and generous! We will be back. Definitely go check this place out! And I hope the woman that helped us sees this and gets recognized and appreciated for her efforts!

That being said, we still had a pleasant dinner and enjoyed our meal but I don't think we will be itching to return. The standout being the french fries-- tossed in a delicious truffle butter. We both enjoyed the ny strip-- I found it odd that you couldn't order it cooked to your liking. We had asked for our steak cooked medium and they "can only do medium rare" per the servers words. That felt a bit odd-- I cannot not understand the reasoning why. The flavor on the steak was delicious, the cream sauce outstanding, and the greens were a nice touch. I would not recommend the cacio de pepe -- that didn't feel like an authentic pasta rather overcooked mac and cheese. It was not what we were expecting. The other thing that fell a bit short was the service. Completely different than their sister rail trail, the service was cold. It felt as if we were a bother. Our dining experience was less than an hour, it was prompt service. Ambiance is nice, small seating, dark.

You flip the switch and the doorkeeper checks your id and you wait until there is a table. Once you go in, it is a small restaurant/bar. The focus is definitely on the alcohol. There are several interesting cocktails to try. I had the martini. It was served in a flask on ice. It was strong. My friend tried the Manhattan and she was very pleased by the flavor. We had the burger and shared the fries. Those were good but not the best I've ever had. But the concept of the fries was very good. My friends got the salmon dip and that was exciting. The deserts are mostly spiked too. The service was very good and I will be excited to come back again next time I'm In the area.
