What surprised me was the service when dining in... they have a covered dining area and bring you a plate of food with a variety of sauces. It's outdoor seating only, so not sure I can speak to the ambiance... it might be a bit cold during the winter months for dining in, but their food is authentic and they have some creative burrito and taco options. read more

Great tacos, I like the pastor a lot. It's not the juiciest I've had but it's never too fatty or gristly and we'll seasoned. They've been making a lot of upgrades, improving their truck and seating area for customers which means their prices have had to go up (3.50 per taco, which seems almost standard now at many places). They do Taco Tuesday tho where you can still get them for 2.50! They've also expanded their menu a lot with things like tortas, quesadillas, and Sinaloan tacos (w/ melted cheese and pepper). Great vegetarian options too, you can mix n match to create your own veggie tacos from their list of ingredients. They've got a bunch of tasty house sauces and the ladies are always nice. read more

I picked up my Chilaquiles burrito drove to the 7-11 and bought a drink, then drove another 20 minutes back to work. Got to my desk and unwrapped the delicious burrito, took a bite and miraculously the yolk from the eggs was still runny! I can't even get over easy eggs that good from most breakfast diners! I ate the entire thing (which was just as big as you would expect from a good place) in one sitting, which probably wasn't the best idea but it was delicious and I couldn't stop. They have a bunch of different sauces available and many other options to eat. So good! I love this place. The meats are delicious, the staff is friendly and they have nacho cheese! Say what you will, cheese sauce on a great nacho just makes it more amazing. I love that liquid gold! I've had nachos here, the carne asada fries, quesadillas and tonight tried the mulita. It's the size of a medium pizza and can feed like a medium pizza would ( def 2-3 people). It had carnitas, cheese, onions, cilantro... amazing. It didn't taste heavy either! Not sure if it was the cilantro, but it just didn't taste like a greasy, gut bomb like you might expect. It's hard to explain. I also had a breakfast burrito but haven't gotten to it yet because I was full off 2 slices of the mulita and cheese fries. Yeah! Nacho cheesy fries! Another thing that really tickles me is that they actually put some effort into packing your food. For example: the nachos. It's not just stuff thrown over chips. It's layered and well topped. You won't eat all the topping and be left with chips at the bottom. No. No sir-y. That bitch will be meaty and cheesy from start to finish! And the giant quesadilla slices are strategically placed in the box. Ahh... it's just the small things that make a difference for me. But most importantly to me - the meats are all good. Listen, do not be fooled by these other reviews. I've tried this place on atleast three separate occasions and have held off on making this review.... I hoped desperately for the food to be good but it is not. Their tacos and burritos are not good, it's that simple. This would be 3.5 stars if Yelp left half stars. We've been trying all the Mexican spots on Killingsworth, and around nearby, to figure out the best. This one is very good if large portions are what you're into. My wife got soles, I got a burrito, and my mother in law got a chicken quesadilla. My wife seemed satisfied with the sopes. I wasn't unhappy with the carne asada burrito - though the cheese wasn't quite melted, which does tend to be the glue of the whole burrito experience. Our foods temperature was all pretty lukewarm, but not dissatisfyingly so, not a deal breaker... my mother in law felt the the quesadilla was enormous! I had some reheated a bit later and it was pretty tasty. The chicken was still very tender. Wife and I ate there - there's some limited seating options that I found to be endearing. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again, but I'm also not rushing to go back. There's not really any bike parking, but it's a food truck, so like. Idk that it's necessary? Here, it was good - as in I'd probably order again - but not in a I must stop because there's a parking spot out front kind of way. It's not one thing that defines an awesome BB, but crisp hash browns usually captures my taste buds. Here they weren't cubed, not mashed, but somewhere in between. Eggs had brown spots which means they were over cooked to my liking (though many seem to prefer them that way.). The tortilla was warm, but no crisp edges. Size was a touch smaller than at other food carts, but price was $5 which is on the very low end of the scale. I was excited to see Orange, and not Red, salsa. Unfortunately, it was very underwhelming (as was the green sauce.) Service was friendly and quicker than expected. Parking blows enchiladas. 3.5 stars rounded up based on one visit. read more

A solid Mexican food cart. I've had both tacos and burritos from this NE Killingsworth cart, and both were quite good. The tacos are straightforward, with your choice of protein and accompanied by white onion and cilantro. Throw on some salsa and you've got about the most traditional street taco you can find. The burritos are a bit beefed up, with rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. Nice to find guac automatic. That is, unless you don't like guac. But what kind of monster doesn't like guac? Prices are definitely on point, too. Tacos are $1.75 each, and my (huge) burrito was $8. This neighborhood is so rapidly changing and offering bougie food at bougie prices, so it's nice to get a no-nonsense, delicious, traditional meal. read more

With mixed feelings, I am updating my review and subtracting stars. I love their zucchini tostadas, so much. Yet, my most recent visit is the reason for the change. I ordered my zucchini tostadas and a carnitas taco right before a group of three ordered. I sat down as usual to wait for my order. The lady brings out and order to the table of three waiting for their to-go orders, no biggie. Then another one of their orders. Kind of weird but ok. Then the last person's order for the group of three. In that time, the first person has placed their order in their vehicle while waiting for their friends to get their order. Then, the lady asks me if i had ordered a shrimp burrito, which was actually the first person's order. I tell her as much, she takes my order from the other customer and in front of me puts it in a new paper bag and hands it to me. No offer to remake my order, since it had obviously been given to someone else. I didnt know what to do or say. I took my order home. I dont feel comfortable causing a scene or demanding things.
