I'm so happy I happened upon this place! I originally chose this restaurant because in Los Angeles there's a popular spot with the same name so I was hoping there would be a correlation here. And so there was! Haha, all the tacos I ordered were so delicious! I especially enjoyed the adobada taco. When we ordered we told the kind server we wanted our tacos with everything (con todo). The adobada taco was super flavorful, juicy and addicting. It came with a complementary cilantro-looking sauce that made the taco even better. The Suadero was soft and flavorful as well with a spicy kick. The Asada was flavorful and came with lots of guacamole/avocado. They also give you a small plate full of limes and slices of radishes to enjoy with your food/tacos. It is a very spacious restaurant with a VIP side (maybe for locals or etc) and a regular side. Although they don't have beer they had a fridge filled with refreshing soft drinks. I highly recommend you try this place just a hop across the border, it is only a short uber ride away.
Really delicious tacos in Zona Rio/Tijuana area. Parking can be located on the back designated lot, or in the surrounding streets. This joint is located right across from Costco. I ordered their regular tacos with asada, adobada, lengua, cabeza, and suadero. I also tried their tamarindo and horchata which came as bottled drinks. My favorite tacos were definitely the adobada and asada. Their salsa had a nice kick. There are also radish and lime available at the table. Service was friendly. Tacos were about 44 pesos and up. They also had quesa tacos, burritos, and quesadillas.
I'm from Los Angeles, and I've always been on "the search" in finding the best taco spot in Tijuana. I feel like I might've just found it. El Taconazo as it appears on Apple Maps is my new To Go spot whenever I'm across the border. The tacos were soooo damn good, I got 2 chorizo, 2 asada, and 2 buche with a Mexican coke ... man o' mannn it hit the spot. F the diet I was in here in Los Angeles, when you're in Mexico it should be a crime not to pig out. I guess the only downside was no beer lol, I definitely felt like having one with these bomb tacos were a must but the coke was a good replacement :) The service was good! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. Waiters had good energy, and were friendly overall. Nevertheless I'll for sure be back! Gained a customer out of me .
The service was fast and easy and we were able to grab our mainly to-go order without a hitch. We had some lengua mulitas while we waited and they were delicious. I brought lengua, asada and al pastor tacos home for the family and it was a hit. Definitely a great place for a quick bite as it's a very casual joint with quick service.
The best lengua tacos I've ever had. The other meats are pretty good also. Prices are cheaper than SD.
There are several Taco Nazos in Tijuana. I am unaware if they are all under the same ownership as a chain. What I do know is that this location was on a main thoroughfare in the Zona Centro with plenty of taco shops to choose from. The suite was being refurbished, but business continued as usual. We came here after eating at a competitor less than a mile away on the same side of the street. The entrance was on the back side adjacent to an outdoor patio. A hostess assigned us to a long table near the front where we could see the sidewalk. Two large stations each had menu boards above them with meats being cooked on a spit and grills. Most of the tacos were priced at 37 pesos apiece. Tortas, quesadillas, and mulitas were more expensive at 100 pesos each. I recommended to each member of our party to order one or two tacos at most to pace ourselves throughout the walking foodie tour. I picked a Suadero which was a cut of beef between the belly and the leg (i.e. shank). The taco was served on two corn tortillas filled with meat, cilantro, onions, and salsa verde. Compared to the previous place where we ate, the price was the same, however my taco wasn't quite as juicy. The service from the waiter was fine although his English skills weren't as proficient. Part of my downgraded rating was because the ongoing construction left the exterior of the dining area as an open-air and incomplete setting. I rated our stop at Taco Nazo with 3.5 stars.
Tacos in Tijuana, Mexico... This was stop #4 of five places on our unofficial Foodie Tour. Emmett had plotted out our journey and selected Taco Nazo for our last savory meal of the day. I was really full from the tostada, horchata, and tacos at other places. I.just.could.not.eat.anything.else I did observe efficient service in the open-air environment. My friends' food did appear and smell delicious! Next time we're there, I surely will get an adobada taco... we watched the worker shave the meat off of the rotisserie... wow... it looked so delectable!
We came here for some tacos. They greeted us right away and offered us to dine outside or a table inside. The weather was great that day so we decided to stay outside. The menu is posted outside on the wall and their service was prompt. We didn't have to wait to get a table but buy the time we were done eating, there was already a lot of people waiting to sit down. I ordered two Adobada tacos, and two Asada tacos. My wife also ordered a Tripa taco and it was good. Tacos were 36 pesos each. Both meats were delicious l, but I would say the Adobada tacos were better. The Asada tacos came with your carne Asada, cebolla y cilantro, and a very creamy guacamole. The meat was perfectly cooked and the guacamole went perfect with the tacos. The Adobada taco came with your pork meat cebolla y cilantro and a delicious green salsa. The pork was so tender and the salsa paired perfectly with the Adobada meat. No wonder this place gets packed. The tacos are amazing here. Will definitely be returning.

Anytime we are in Tijuana, Taco Nazo is a must. Even order it to our Airbnb. It is worth it. It is always jam packed and lively... so be prepared to wait. They have a variety of meats. I've tired the carne asada(grilled steak), lengua (tongue), adobado(marinated pork) , buche, suadero, and tripa (tripe). I will say my favorite are the adobado, suadero and lengua. Soo good. Cooked perfectly. I usually go for the vampiros. Basically a corn tortilla (not fried) but grilled until perfectly crunchy with layers of cheese and meats. I like to ask for a side of grilled onions, nopales (cactus), and radish. Their sauces and salsas are really good. Just be careful of the spice level of some. The tacos are great and filling, the vampiros are my favorite but the torta is nothing special. Definitely recommend!
Taconazo has been my choice the past 2 years when I head down to Tijuana since they are right there after crossing into Mexico. These are really good tacos. They may not be the best in Tijuana but they are a strong choice for tacos before you head back over the border. My taco review *Adobada: these are my favorite. Plenty of meat and lots of flavor. Kind of what the old Tacos El Gordo used to taste before it went downhill. *Carne Asada: they are solid. They have everything you need in a Tijuana taco, although I prefer other spots if I am just going for carne asada. *Cabeza: another solid choice. They have lots of flavor without being overly greasy, which can be an issue at some taquerias. They also have lots of variations (burritos, vampiros, mulitas and quesadillas) that you can make with the various meat choices if you want to go down that route. Family typically goes down the quesadillas route since they love the flour tortillas. The red salsa is good and can be a bit spicy for those that are sensitive to that. You can order grilled green onions/chiles (surtidos), but you do get charged for that. Overall a solid choice to satisfy the itch for tacos near downtown Tijuana.

Hands down one of the better Taco Shops in TJ & by far my favorite Taco Shop in TJ. Only bout 5 minutes from the border. If you come on a weekday night like 7pm you can go have tacos & be back by 9pm. Weekends are of course crazier because of the line to get back into San Diego. Parking can be a bit hard at times but they have parking guys there helping you find parking & help you park your car. They have a lot of tables to eat at & a very good atmosphere & vibe as you eat your tacos & there is always people there eating. As far as the tacos go, they are F'N amazing & on point! They don't hold back on the portions, tacos are very filling & ridiculously affordable (bring your own water or soda & that's how you save money & can buy more tacos) you get your money's worth & then some. Tripa taco is my favorite & the best Tripa taco I've ever had in my Vida! The Adobada taco is very good & it comes with a chunk of pineapple. Their other tacos are very good as well & they got mullitas, vampiro tacos & burritos. All of their meats are great & the customer service is great as well so tip good & don't be a cheap ass. Honestly, this place was referred by a family member and decided to give it a try. I had the birria tacos, vampire birria taco and a adoboda mulita. All of them were cooked perfectly and all tasted amazing. My fiancé had the birria vampiro taco and carne asada mulita. She enjoyed all of her food. They have plenty of seating and very attentive staff. I would highly recommend trying this place. Quality of food is phenomenal and definitely crossing the border weekly for the tacos. read more

First time here. Service is good. The tacos where ok. I've had better in Tijuana. I'll consider coming in again in the future if I'm in the area. Prices are a little on the high side for tacos in Mexico. read more

A solid place to go for tacos in Tijuana. The food and prices are good. I am still new to Tijuana though, so I'm looking forward to finding more spots frequented by the local community. Parking is difficult because the place is usually packed, but there are a handful of spots in the back. Street parking is often your best bet. read more
This taco place is located right next to the Costco after crossing the border . Easy to spot and they have a parking lot right behind the restaurant. There is only outdoor seating or you can st up at the taco bar. Yes stools set up right in front where you can watch them make your tacos. Service is great and they are fast. I order here suadero meat which is beef and it's so tender, it's rib meat and it's so delicious!! They serve a variety of meats and even crunchy tripas! They have delicious marinated al pastor which you can see on a huge roasting spindle as you walk in. I also ordered a mullita, which is quesadilla with meat, home made flour tortillas with queso Oaxaca, am pastor meat, guacamole, and their special white sauce, it's a must try!! I ordered 10 tacos, but they only gave me eight. I talked to them and they didn't admit they gave me two less. I counted how many I ate. I was rushing back to America and didn't want to waste my time there. I know the waitress don't earn a lot of money I paid them 20 bucks though the bill showed $16. But I think one star is well deserved. Pedí 10 tacos, pero solo me dieron ocho. Hablé con ellos y no admitieron que me dieron dos menos. Conté cuántos comí. Me apresuraba a volver a Estados Unidos y no quería perder el tiempo allí. Sé que la camarera no gana mucho dinero. Les pagué 20 dólares aunque la factura mostraba $ 16. Ordered asada, lengua, suadero, adobada, a cup of beans and a plain quesadilla. The asada, lengua, and suadero were delicious and tortillas have the perfect thickness. The adobada taco is good but it could use less of the sauce they dump on it. Actually, the adobada meat is excellent but again the sauce not necessary IMO. Beans and quesadilla were ok, nothing special. Place was very clean and the bathrooms were as well. I ubered there but did notice parking is limited. Overall worth the quick trip over the border. Love my SENTRI pass. read more

Good Tacos al pastor were our favorite. Only down side: tortillas were WAY TOO GREASY! We still ate and thoroughly enjoyed it all! We tried the fantasmas and sopes as well. read more

These tacos are the bomb.com! We stumbled onto this place because the places we found on yelp were either booked up or we couldn't figure out where they were actually located. Our hunger was steady increasing as we kept getting turned down so we just pulled over to the next spot that looked open. Parking was super easy as they had a person out front helping direct traffic to the restaurant and there were tons of locals eating - a great sign! We got an assortment of tacos because we couldn't understand what the rest of the menu was and they were on point. I tried the birria, suadero, adobada, and chorizo, and they were all amazing! It was like Tacos El Gordo on steroids. I believe they have tortas, quesadillas, and several other variations of tortilla+meat dishes. 10 tacos + 3 bottled horchatas = $14! read more

Bomb. Must eat here if you're visiting or driving through TJ. The food is good, the place is clean. They don't sell alcohol, but one of the staff can run up to the convenient store to grab you a beer to enjoy with your tacos (or whatever your heart desires). read more

So we stopped in on a quick visit to the dentist. If you follow me I'm Keto. I thought I'd order a couple of tacos and eat the innerds with a fork. WRONG! They have "tacos fantasma" tacos made with crispy melted cheese. Yum!! Fellow Ketonians beware, they serve with beans. They have their own parking and a separate outdoor patio. After Round 1 at Taqueria Franc, our group decided to stop by Taconazo since the Italiano was still hungry. We were seated at the outdoor patio with heaters. One of us ordered a horchata, and to our surprise, the server gave him a plastic bottle that looked like store bought drink. We thought it would be handmade like the street food carts, but oh well. We also wanted to try the birria tacos since those were not sold at Taqueria Franc...but oh my, those tacos were just so peppery and hot! I felt as if I accidentally swallowed an entire pepper container from Costco. Even the poor Italiano of the group, whose gastrointestinal tract is not too spicy food-friendly, had to sit on the toilet at home the entire next day. We would have preferred to taste the actual goat meat instead of having other items masking the taste. And yes, the best birria tacos I ever had are still from San Diego's King and Queen Cantina. We also ordered the basket of vegetables since we needed more fiber from our Tijuanense diet for the day. Unfortunately, the pear cactus, onions, and peppers were swimming in oil, which increased our risk of ulcerative colitis. I guess we expected more from Taconazo since this place was recommended by another friend. However, we are excited to try other different taco stands when we visit again. read more

Fantastic food. Our group tried almost everything. No misses! It's Open late which was a plus since we swung by after a Xolos match. The vampiros were great but my fav were the Fantasmas...melted cheese base topped with a crisp tortilla. You can even mix meats. The birria tacos were also an unexpected treat. read more

My friend introduced me to this restaurant on a late Wednesday night ( it's open until 2am ).I loved the overall set-up inside ( very clean ) and the place was packed with customers ( a good sign ).As soon as we got seated, we asked the waitress for suggestions on what's their specialty ( tacos, tortas ...etc ). She recommended asada tacos ( which we noticed quite a few customers were having ).So, I ordered the tacos and my friend ordered asada tortas.All I can say here is, the tacos were simply DELICIOUS.They were so tasty that I ordered two more, and they were at my table almost instantly.I highly recommend this place to anyone, cuz the food is fresh/tasty and the service is A-1. read more
Second time making it here and I love it! I have had the suadero, asada and adobado tacos. I love the adobado tacos the best. It's always super busy so be ready to possibly wait a bit. The staff is always great. They greet you and are always super fast. The food! They offer tortas, tacos and other taco inventions like the fantasma which is a cheese taco shell and then everything the taco has or a campito which is a tortilla gone crunchy with cheese on the bottom and everything a taco has. There aguas frescas are also super tasty. My all time favorite taco is the adobado, they add this white delicious sauce and it's so freaking good. Overall this place is FUEGOOO!! read more

I will not leave Tijuana unless I swing by for at least one taco! Once in your life time you must try their fantasma taco!! Unless you're not a cheese lover, in which that case sorry but you're lame. JK! Anyways, back to the good stuff... The fantasma is a taco that has no tortilla. SAY WHAT?! A taco with no tortilla? I know what you're thinking... how is that a taco?! Well my friend let me tell you... your tortilla is cheese! Yes cheese!! Delicious crispy cheese forms your tortilla. You can have order your fantasma any meat you want, asada, adobada, birria, chorizo and it's served with a side of beans which are also tasty. Top it off with some lime and some of their creamy cilantro sauce and BAM! Your taste buds will explode. Tacos, mulitas everything is delicious. I love taconazo and highly recommend it to everyone. read more
