Have to agree with James. Don't particularly like this place. Been here twice and will only return if I hear it gets better.

Worst tacos you will ever experience. Not at all Mexican , everything about it felt cheap and uninspired, and especially not tasty.

Excellent! Fresh, variety of fillings and heat levels, good value. Will definitely be stopping by again on our next trip through town.

Lovely little find, friendly service and great taco. Tucked into mall just as you enter Sechelt.

They even make their own sauces that are bottled and you can bring home. They seemed to be set up for take out and catering. But they do have seating for about 20-25 people. We ordered: BBQ Pork Combo meal $10.50 Chicken Inasal Combo meal $10.50 both with Garlic - Annatto Rice +$.75 each and we added pork spring rolls $4 The combo meals are tasty and filling. With a slight char on the BBQ pork which is what I enjoy when having skewers. Honestly the garlic- annato rice wasn't really worth it. I personally couldn't taste it over the sauce on either the BBQ pork or the chicken Inasal. And would have been happy with just regular rice. The lumpiang was meaty and everything I look for in a crispy spring roll. The dessert options area also great. Not sure if its seasonal but they had a slice of coconut (buko) pie in their fridge. Whole buko pie need to be per-ordered and picked up on the weekend. They also have leche flan and ube cheesecake for a sweet treat. Over all a great comforting small business with friendly staff and a meal under $12. How can you go wrong? Give Hapag Ihaw-Ihaw a try if you're in the area.

That means in order to get anything, you must wave down the waiter. The food is also very mediocre in terms taste. To make matters worse, the quantity of food is not filling either. Finally, many of their entrees do not come with rice. Therefore, they nickel and dime you from the individual orders of rice that you have to make to go along with the entrees. Only street parking is available for this establishment so be prepared to circuit around the neighborhood several times before finding a spot.

So you can imagine how excited I was to find Bry's Filipino Cuisine while we were in Bellingham. It wasn't on our radar, but we looked at a map of where we were staying and not far from our hotel was a place called Bry's Filipino Cuisine just down a few blocks. We called over there, asking if they were dog-friendly and fortunately, they are. They offer outdoor seating right outside the entrance, which worked out perfectly. We visited for lunch and left with leftovers. The portions are huge and it's affordable! I can't remember the last time I had a meal in Bellevue with huge portions from a small business for $20. My partner and I both ordered the combination, which came with a little bit of everything for only $20. There was pork adobo, coconut chicken, grilled pork, lumpia, brussels sprouts, pancit and a large helping of white rice. I even asked the owner if he had bicol express, which he gave me a side of as part of the combo plate! After some chatting, it turns out the owner is from the Bicol region, which is where my mom's side of the family is from. Love it! It's been a long time since I've had some authentic Filipino food - and this hit the spot! The food was incredible, the owner was super friendly and the space outside allowed for our dog to join us. They even have a full bar where they serve cocktails with ube and pandan for a Filipino twist! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Bellingham.

This is really a great place if you're craving for simple yet tasty dessert…read more Its a family business and the daughters working at the front were very courteous and polite. I asked them what is the signature item and they quickly referred me to the halo halo and the tofu pudding dessert. Since I had just grabbed a latte somewhere else, I opted for the tofu pudding. I went for the small but I won't call it that...although their large then is indeed...well, large. It comes with a syrup much like the brown sugar you find in bubble tea. But they gave me pearls. It's not overly sweet at all and blends well with the rich flavour from the pudding itself. I'm not sure about other reviews that says otherwise. It clearly had a smooth tofu taste and it's confirmed by my friends who ate with me. Some say it's firmer than Cantonese pudding but it's a nice texture. Nothing to complain about. I think my serving at room temperatures was just right on this cool autumn day, especially when the pearls were still slightly warm. But I can see how this will be a refreshing summer dessert served chilled. Thank you to the whole family that made my day.

I got the Ube Lemonade which had the perfect amount of ube flavor. We both opted for the Combo Plate because it was so hard to choose just one thing from the menu. Every type of meat was flavorful and textured well. I appreciate that it also came with both rice and noodles, plus brussel sprouts to add a bit of balance. Unfortunately since we were traveling we couldn't take home leftovers, but this was enough for at least two meals. We would definitely visit again if we're ever in the area!

The menu is short but everything I have tried has been phenomenal. Service was upbeat and chatty and we even got persuaded to try a few of the desserts on rotation and they were just as incredible. There was plenty for leftovers on each plate and really just hit that comfort spot. We went in an off time where there weren't many people in but I can imagine the place having an even more incredible atmosphere when full!
