Honestly, what a gem of a find! We had just finished hiking up Mt. Daniel's, and happened to stumble upon this place - and I'm so glad we did! We lived in Cali for a number of years, and definitely had our fair share of good Mexican places, so always skeptical when trying ones in places that aren't necessarily known for it. But this was so good! We had the guac and chips to start. Guac was super tasty band had an awesome touch of pickled red onion on it. I then had the fish tacos and hubs had the pork quesadillas, both of which were delicious and really fresh tasting. I also had a passionfruit margarita, which was really tasty but could have done with a bit more tequila. The service was awesome - our server was really friendly and attentive and someone else even came out to see if our dog wanted water. I didn't go inside, but from the outside looking in, it looked cute inside. Had plenty of outside seating. Was by far the best food we've had since coming to the Sunshine Coast - will definitely go back when we visit again. read more

It was good but the service left a lot to be desired. Pros: - EV charging station right out front - Ample amount of parking - Enchiladas were good - Comfortable seating Mid: - The chicken soup was only okay compared to other places we've been to - Prices were average. Meh: - There was a misunderstanding between us and the server. We had wanted 2 soups and 2 enchiladas, but he misunderstood it to be 1 soup and 3 enchiladas. Mistakes happen, I completely understand, but when we told the server he was trying to blame us and stated that we had ordered 3 enchiladas. There were 4 of us and we thought it was pretty clear it was 2 and 2. Given some time, he huffed and corrected the order. - After we paid, I decided to look at the bill and realized we were charged the completely wrong bill. When I went to tell the server he said, "no it's the right one", I repeated it wasn't. He said "yes, 2 soup and 2 enchiladas." And I finally said "but this says 2 burgers". Then he finally caught on and we finally paid our correct bill. It was a lot of unnecessary back and forth. read more

Stopped by Aqui Es Mexico and had a bit of a mixed experience. The empanadas were absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal! However, the entrée felt a bit overpriced for what it was and was ultimately a bit underwhelming.On the bright side, the service was great--very welcoming and attentive. The restaurant itself has a really lovely ambience as well. I'd definitely come back for the empanadas and drinks, but I might stick to appetizers next time! read more

On a chilly day I took the motorcycle onto the ferry for a drive up the Sunshine Coast to Pender Harbour. Without much of a plan I headed for this restaurant. It's bright inside with lots of colourful murals. I ordered coffee, it was nice and strong, with milk arriving in a little skull pot! I decided to have a cod burrito, which I think would've been fine with a regular salsa but I ordered mole. That type of sauce is a little bit too overpowering for fish so I would recommend not to do that. It wasn't the fault of the restaurant though. The burrito was very good, filling and used cabbage with rice. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I would visit this place again and maybe try it tostada or some of their other offerings. read more

Best part the food and good Margarita's, The down fall cleanliness (especially bathrooms) This isn't really big deal however, our waiter wore dirty sweatshirt and sweatpants. Come on! The flavors of the food were delicious. I had chicken enchiladas and my husband had the beef burrito. Nice outside tables. Great service.

I love Chile Relleno! So much that if there's a Mexican restaurant around, I for sure will go and try their Chile Relleno. This place did not disappoint at all! A lovely place and a delicious and authentic Mexican food! I ordered their Chile Relleno twice; once while I was staying in for lunch and another one for takeout. I usually add pork, which I did for the first order. Sadly, it wasn't a pulled pork, but it still was good. For the takeout I switched to chicken. It was my first time here, but I'll certainly come back again when I'm in the neighbourhood. read more

The restaurant looks cute but we ordered take away. The food was really tasty. Between us we had chicken tacos, veggie enchiladas, chicken enchiladas and a torta guadaljuara. All of us really enjoyed, We also found the prices to be totally inline with what you got - I think three small corn, beef tacos were around $13.00. None of the 4 of us liked our burritos. Way too much of an odd sweet sauce, no guacamole. Very expensive for what you get.

Delicious food, great service, clean and bright dining room. We loved our lunch here and give it our highest recommendation. Our family arrived by sailboat and were very pleased to see that this restaurant was open on a Monday when almost nothing else was (thank you!) It is a short and easy walk from the harbor. Stopped here looking for a different restaurant which appears to be closed. We had an enchilada and an appy. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The service was very quick to order but once we ordered the server disappeared until the end of the meal. Overall a good experience. I'd go back. read more

Food was just okay, but the service was terrible. Waited for over an hour. Would not recommend or return.

Our meal was different than most of the food we've had in Mexico but was good. But our experience with our server wasn't very positive. Within 8 minutes of sitting down he asked us to order soon because they were busy. Yet he announced this the first time he checked on our table. Okay. But when we asked to order drinks before our meal he said no - we had to order everything all together. I asked to keep a menu so we could refer to it for dessert. He said they didn't have dessert. Later on another server said that wasn't the case and allowed us to order churros. It felt like they were trying to rush us out of the door, which I understand because they only offer 2 hours of service for dinner. But at the same time it felt liked we were being lied to and rushed when we also wanted a quick dinner. Overall a bit of a weird experience. read more
