If you like Taco Tico, Taco Mayo, Taco Shop (Kansas) , or Del Taco, you'll love this place! This place is super clean and the people are friendly. The thing is, it's all about the sauce! The tables are set up with the mild sauce at the tables (and it's good) but you need to ask for the hot or extra hot for the brave. We love the sauce and you can purchase it for $5 ( right now ) and we get all three. We add the sauce to everything! I love the taco burger and my husband said it's the best combo burrito! read more

OK, I'm a California boy with lots of time in New Mexico and was expecting something different. You won't find carne asada tacos. You won't find huevos rancheros. You won't find chile verde. But what you do find is good, especially the enchiladas -- which are basically fried corn tortillas with cheese and onions smothered in a chili sauce. It wasn't what I went in looking for but was great! The soft tacos were made with flour tortillas (rather than corn.) Again, it wasn't what I expected, but it was pretty good. I was happy to find this place. If I go back it'll be all enchiladas! read more

This place has changed after idk how many years! I miss the old hole in the wall joint from my youth. They have done a really nice job bringing this little taco stand into the moderne world. The building next door is now a dinning room. They even accept credit cards now... I KNOW! I think the new design of the kitchen has slowed things down quite a bit but I will continue to go here for my taco stop fix from time to time. Stopped in here on Monday for lunch May 6 2019 and it's just so so but if other people like they must be use to it. I wasn't impressed with what I ordered.3 Tacos 1 Taco Burger and A Burrito which I didn't finish along with Taco burger. This Place isn't for me! It should be called Taco Slop cause the food is of poor Quality.Nothing tasted good! I will pass next time! I've loved this place for over 40 years. A must eat every time I visit. Crave the burritos so much that I've had friends buy them, freeze them, and overnight them to me on the East coast. Cheap good eats. Best crushed ice in the drinks. Don't expect haute cuisine or gourmet fare. Expect to wait in line at lunch time. read more

In the area hunting. Took a break a found Taco Stop. Simple Tex mex tacos burritos and such. Good portion sizes. Good flavor, prices are great. I got a sancho (burrito wth beans and beef). Ordered it with chilie and cheese also got a taco. Total bill was only $5.70. I will visit taco stop again read more

Taco Stop is a tried and true. We are never disappointed in the food or the price. I have enjoyed the burritos for years and years, but now switched over to the Chili Cheese Sanchos. You can't lose with any of their items. The food is prepared up front so you're able to see the cleanness of the process(I love that part too). They have different levels of sauce if you want to spice it up more than it is prepared with, just ask for whatever you want. The only catch has been that they don't take cards for payment. The new space has added more seating area that is really a good thing too! read more

Its basically food that you would get at a high school basketball game. But personally I like that haha Im not a fan of the taco sauce they use so always ask for it without. they never complain about that and never forget to not add it. The price isnt so bad for what you get. Ive definitely experienced worse. they only accept cash or local checks which Im honestly find with. Great local place over all. read more

Sorry but when it comes to mexican food or texmex food. Taco Stop is the LAST place I would go in Ponca. I like flavor in my food. Everything is so bland and blah I just can't make myself go there. Yeah they are cheap... they aren't spending money on seasonings! It may be good stuff for Ponca City or Oklahoma but for this girl thats lived in areas with REAL AUTHENTIC mexican food I just can't even eat it. read more
