Then continued to lose my food and didn't acknowledge the fact that it happened, and as I was leaving she accused me of stealing cheesecake when she didn't charge me for it, and when I went back to pay for it she slapped my card out of my hand. I live 2 hours away from this location, but frequently eat here while visiting family (at least 2-3 times each month). Today, I stopped and ordered our favorite, Tortellini pans with shrimp. Typically, this order can feed 2 people. So I get the take out dish out to warm it up for dinner, there is barely enough for 1 person. It was almost $30 !! For 1 dish and bread! So I called and talked to the waitress that helped me. She talked to the owner who wanted me to bring the dish back to the restaurant so they could see it. I told her that I could not, as I live 2 hours away. She put the phone on the counter and took 3 orders and then finally came back to me, and said they would give me $5 off next visit. Place was empty for a reason! . I ordered a large all meat pizza which was awful. Little Caesars pizza was a lot better. Hardly any cheese and the meat was minuscule. I recently moved here from California last year and have yet to of found a good restaurant. It is as if Oklahomans have no taste buds. We tried all the Mexican restaurants and they are all awful. Online order experience was easy and quick but the food was AWFUL. I paid for a $12 meal (pasta sampler) and receieved a one inch slice of manacotti, a single cheese ravioli and a 1/4 inch slice of lasagna. For $12? My son had the kids spaghetti with meatballs, the spaghetti was a giant clump of noodles all stuck together and dry(some crunchy), almost NO sauce with a meatball buried in the middle. My son complained the noodles tasted "stale" and only ate the meatball. My husband also commented that the noodles tasted "off" as if they had been seasoned with something that normally wasn't used and tasted freezer burnt. Needless to say, I won't be returning. The only good thing was the garlic rolls but nothing else is worth the money spent. read more

My nine year old was blown away by the butter rolls. But, said his spaghetti and meatball were cold. The calamari was decent and came with marinara and a lemon. I ordered the shrimp and crab Alfredo. I know, I should know better. I was hoping they used canned crab. But, they didn't. They used imitation crab and cut it into squares. But, that's not the real issue here. The sauce was AWFUL. Like, I can deal with just about any cream sauce. But, this was inedible. I think they made it with the same imitation butter that was dripping off the rolls. You know, like popcorn butter. The THREE shrimp were firm and tasty. They left the tails on. Oooooh and I got a "salad" which consisted of iceberg lettuce thrown on a plate. No surprise I felt sick for about two hours after eating the imitation butter shrimp. It's the only "italian restaurant in town. I really hope they get their act together because if they do, they'll make a killing. read more

We called the order in to pick up and take back to the hotel. We all split the appetizer combo, the pasta sampler, a pizza with pepperoni, tomato and spinach and a pizza with sausage, canadian bacon and pepperoni. The rolls were amazing, especially dipped into what I'm assuming was Alla Panna sauce that came with the stuffed mushrooms. That sauce was delicious but the mushrooms had way too much bread crumbs for the stuffing. It tasted and felt like when you make Stove-Top stuffing and put too much water in it; too mushy and not enough seasoning or other ingredients. The calamari was just regular frozen calamari with no seasonings, just plain and bland. The shrimp was edible but nothing special. The toasted ravioli was good. The pasta sampler came with cheese ravioli, lasagna, and manicotti topped with marinara and mozzarella cheese. It was ok, but tasted like it was frozen. The marinara sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can of Chef-Boyardee . The pizzas were good, but I think they could have been cooked a couple minutes longer. The crust was pale; not a golden color like pizza should be. The salad was fresh and crisp but they put the dressing on it instead of in a cup. I wanted to save it for later, but it would have been soggy by then. The pizza was better at 4am after I nuked it in the microwave. read more

There aren't many options for dining in the good ole town of Ponca City - I used to really like this Italian restaurant but my latest visit was less than great. I've always liked their tortellini alla panna (cheese tortellini with a creamy blend of marinara and alfredo sauce) and that hasn't changed. Very tasty. Their rolls are usually good, but this latest to-go order came with very burnt rolls. I doubt they would serve these to their dine-in customers, but they were in our to-go order and we didn't find out until we opened them at home. Not really edible they were so burnt. Then they didn't include the salad that was included with the pasta I ordered. Once again, everything was packaged up so didn't realize this until we brought it home. Disappointing. So, if you're looking for Italian food in Ponca, give it a try, but don't get a to-go order, and make sure they give you your paid for salads! read more

We had never eaten here in all the years we've been coming to Ponca City but we have been twice in the last couple of months. The pizza is the absolute best I have had in this area, we ordered 2 medium pizza's (supreme and philly cheesesteak) and they were awesome. We already knew the supreme was good. I have eaten here on two occasions. The first time we ate in the restaurant and had really good meals. The garlic rolls they give you with your meal are huge and very good. The wait staff was pleasant and friendly. The food was fresh and quite good. On another occasion I ordered pizza and some appetizers for take out. The appetizers were good, but the pizza was kind of bland, undercooked, and greasy. That being said, I would probably go back, but stay away from the pizza. I don't much care for this place. It is a chain which they do not advertise. The inside is noisy because they do not have good acoustical sound absorbtion. The last time we went, about six months ago, the pasta dishes were greasy and just "sort of" ok. I have to ask the question, how can you make a sauce that is greasy? They have some problems. We only went because we were with a group. Service was ok, drinks from the bar were minimal - cheap wines, major beers and something out of a cheap liquor cabinet if you wanted something else. I will add this - they do have excellent pizza. But as for the rest - go to OKC, Wichita or Tulsa to get decent Italian - cause it ain't here! read more
