GonzoEats is back with another one. This time unexpected. My wife and I landed on this spot looking for a place to eat while we waited for the Guy Fieri event for Food and Wine. First things first the outside super nice. Cute honestly. The hostess was not the mostest we basically sat ourselves but that's cool it happens sometimes. Waiter was cool not too enthusiastic but great service non the less. We had quesadillas, I had the Korean short rib and my wife had the steak. Let's just say they look small but they pack good flavor. The interesting part was the drinks. This is the first place I go to where you ask for a drink and they ask you what size. Go with the medium it a solid choice of you not trying to go crazy. Overall nice spot go check it out. read more

Ambiance: 10/10 cute environment, and a fun place to be. It also seems to be open late which is convenient. Service: service was good, we were two large tables so when you are serving 20 people it is never easy. Our server was also pretty honest on what to order and what not to order which was appreciated. We needed a quick bite to eat after our beach day before heading to the airport so we stopped in as we were walking by. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was, being so close to the beach you never know what will be just another tourist trap or what will actually be decent. We're in Miami Beach for his daughter's wedding and today was the rehearsal. But we hadn't eaten lunch yet and decided to come here. And we're so happy we did. Swung over to this hot spot before our flight back to California. Couldn't pass on some tacos especially after seeing the menu the day before. Ordered a variety of tacos and of course a Miami vice for the road (not literally). Food was pretty tasty but the drinks were even better. The Micheladas weren't bad but they weren't my favorite. I got the shrimp bowl which had a ton of food - at least 2 servings which was nice because the price was higher than a normal shrimp bowl but aligned with the pricing in the area based on the location being a tourist area. The decor was very cute and aesthetically pleasing with reasonable noise levels. The service was very fast, however I don't know that I would say the servers were incredibly friendly, so not a deterrent, just perhaps not a specific reason to visit this restaurant specifically. read more

Just landed in Miami Beach and looked for some local places to eat. We were not disappointed by the tacos at Taco Taco. I had the Maui tacos and the hubs has the carnitas and steak tacos. I tasted his steak and it was nicely marinated flavor and very tender. Our server, Kayla, was exceptional and very attentive. Wish more restaurants had servers this personable! read more

Very nice place with a nice vibe. There is indoor and outdoor seating but chose to sit outdoors since the weather was perfect to enjoy the breeze. Ordered chips and guac, beef tacos, and mahi tacos. The tortilla for some reason felt to be very thick and the food itself was good but nothing out of this world. Also had a strawberry margarita that tasted like a strawberry lemonade because it barely had any alcohol. Had to ask for it to be fixed. Jr did assist us. As someone from Los Angeles, I am spoiled by good tacos. I was in a rush to eat lunch and had been debating whether or not to skip lunch in favor of preparing for a conference presentation at the nearby Miami Convention Center. I was hungry and needed energy, so I decided to go here with a good friend of mine. I told the staff here that I needed to be in and out quickly, and they were very good with getting my order out. So the pics look great but 10 out of 10 would not recommend eating here. First when you walk up there is no host and it's chaos. Finally when the host met with us she said just wait. The manager asked if he could help and sat us immediately and that was great. The server came up and took our order. And all seemed going wonderfully. Well we got our food first before our drinks and no silverware. The staff was not around to ask for silverware so we looked at our food hungry for at least 5 minutes. Then we were finally given silverware. We both ordered burritos one steak one beef. Both were filled with 90% rice. Mind you these burritos are $22 and $25 dollars. I ordered a margarita with sugar on the rim. When it came it had Taheen. But unfortunately the server didn't come back for another 30 minutes before I could tell her my drink was wrong. My friend and I came here when we were not that hungry but the food and drinks were really good! I got the shrimp taco which was a nice size. It had a lot of flavor and toppings in the taco. The salsa gave the taco a nice sweetness and acid. Someone next to us ordered nachos, so we got them and I have to say that it was so good! I wish I was more hungry so I could have devoured them. I asked around about it and it turns out it's just the dishonest owner ripping people off. It's just an excuse to charge you more money. I had the spicy margarita which was solid. My boy Ozzie (bartender) recommended the jalapeño poppers so I got the sampler appetizer which included the poppers, bone-in wings and calamari. The poppers were the best I ever tasted. The wings were nice and crispy and the calamari was very good! My main dish was the mahi mahi fajitas which was an excellent choice.
