Luckily, I love Taco Time food. I often switch it up on what I get. Between the Baja tacos, fish taco, habanero soft burrito, and sometimes the FitHit bowl, they have a good variety of meals and flavors. I typically go through drive-thru and have only seen the inside through the windows, seems standard TT seating arrangement inside. The staff must have been doing a shift change or something because we only ordered two tacos and chips with guacamole and it was at least a 10 minute wait at the window. It's close and good food which is why I'll keep going. read more

This location is very messy. And they don't really care. It's just not worth going here. I eat elsewhere in gig harbor, I think it's closed for remodeling now. I'm annoyed by the negative reviews, this TacoTime is a longtime favorite in Gig Harbor and for good reason. The staff are wonderful, the food is great, etc. Please ignore the haters, this is a fantastic location and I've had countless wonderful meals over many years here. TacoTime is a PNW favorite. the drive thru was packed and not moving so I headed inside to order. the gentleman working was more concerned with going on a break than taking orders. my order was wrong. I ordered chicken tacos and received beef. i also received no hot sauce which was incredibly disappointing, no napkins and my food was cold. I threw out 90% of this order. read more

Super sad this location is really bad. So busy- with not enough staff and untrained staff. Took almost 20 mins and we asked for a refund..We should have just left but we were hungry and committed at this point. The kid did not know how to give a refund, so we waited another 10 mins before getting our food. The issue was with out a order number calling out system at this location, someone took our food someone else too there food, ext... just a mess! Oh..and they were out of Diet Coke!!! I am not a huge fan of fast food but this place is about as healthy as you can get if you need food fast. The food tastes good, the employees are all very respectful and friendly. The order is usually 99% right when using the online order or even asking for special requests. I've eaten here quite a bit and I highly recommend it. I absolutely love taco time! The fresh, quality ingredients make for excellent food with every visit. They use real pinto beans and white meat chicken. The employees are always polite, friendly, and helpful. I almost always order special changes to standard items and they're always willing to accommodate me. I'm sorry, but I cannot in good conscience recommend Taco Time. My partner had the soft chicken taco which was basically a burrito which was overpriced ($6+), heavy on some kind of sour cream sauce. There was hardly any chicken it and what little there was looked like awful. I had the bean enchilada platter and it was covered on top with melted cheddar cheese. The rice tasted like boxed rice and under cooked. The refried beans no doubt came from a can. I know it's only a fast food place but even Taco Bell is better than this place. read more

First, let me say that I love Taco Time. My work requires a lot of travel and it's the only fast food I will stop for. In 20 years I have eaten at Taco Time over 50 times. 5 or more of these visits have been at our local Gig Harbor location. By far they have the worst, most bland food of the all. This is so crazy because I'm sure they are a chain and should all be serving the same food. No joke, it's so bad my kids won't let me go anymore. If I could give a negative star I would. We ordered a Mexi Platter and made sure the taco included was a crispy taco, she said yes. When we got our food we drove off and parked by the bank so we could both eat. The taco was missing in both meals and everything that was supposed to be warm was cold. The beans was a solid cold little hill. We didn't go back because by the time we left there were at least 6 cars lined up. Clean location. Staff are always attentive, even if it takes them a few minutes to see you there waiting to order. Nice drive through that is the opposite direction of the drive through next to it so there are no traffic tangles. This has become the worst Taco Time location in terms of wait time and quality of food. Drive Thru has become unforgivably slow and yet somehow my food always comes out cold. Mexi fries always cold. Inside isn't much faster. The last time out of the 3 person order 2 people were completely finished before the third order was even up. One of the best Taco Times I have visited. I have eaten here several times, and the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. I have never experienced abnormal wait times. The location is also very clean. The true praise goes to the staff of this location. In particular, Wyatt stands out as a perfect example of a stellar employee. Dude is always on his game. As a front counter person, he is the literal face of Taco Time. I cannot think of a better person to fill that role. He is a virtual whirlwind of customer service, doing everything from order taking to walking the restaurant and checking in with customers to make sure they are satisfied. I have been to 5 star restaurants and spent hundreds of dollars and not received the type of service Wyatt provides. You can tell he loves his job! You have a winner, Taco Time! read more

Im new to the PNW so taco time has grown on me. I know they use high quality locally sourced ingredients but it still seems expensive for fast food. Their food is also kind of bland and can use salt. The salsa is great and mexi fries a.k.a. tater tots are odd but delicious. I go when im on the road as they do have healthier options than most fast food chains but 20 bucks for 2 people is steep considering ive paid that at some taquerias and sit down restaurants. read more

Good & Tasty! I like ordering their chicken burrito crisps. The tatter totts are so much better than French fries!! The salsa & jalapenos they offer work perfect with all! While it's still good food, the tacos are much smaller than all other locations I've been too in Seattle and Snohomish County. I'm not a big person and I can eat my whole meal no problem!
