I tried their tacos off the food truck. Only food choice. They are very very bland, zero flavor. Even the sauce had zero flavor. They were nice people, so hate writting this, but can't lie. :/

I was hesitant to try this place because, how can a little shop just pop up on Central Rd and be good? Lemme tell ya, every interaction I had with these dudes, they were super friendly and accommodating. The place is super clean, the food is REALLY tasty. The prices are just right. To me it's like someone opened up a place, and they too like to eat reasonably priced clean, deliciously seasoned fresh food. Mission accomplished y'all. Tripas taco, got the half crispy half soft, delicious Asada, Pastor good work Bowl was dope! Taco salad, never had it before...got mine with Al pastor AND chile relleno. Life changing. (Pre diabetes----diabetes) but so what sooo yummy. that crispy shell tho. Tacos are good, very good sear, good tortillas.

Great little taco place hidden in a strip mall. Tasty tacos, rice and beans. Also serve breakfast burritos!

08/14/21 - My wife & I were hungry after getting new tires on my car @ Discount Tires & decided to grab some tacos. I looked on Yelp & found Taco Town about 2 miles away. We both grabbed a taco combo plate that came w/3 tacos, beans & rice for $9.95. My wife got 2 pork & chicken taco. I got 2 pork & a fish taco. The unfortunate part is Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen so when I saw 4 1/2 stars we decide to check it out. Unfortunately the food wasn't very good. The food came out immediately. The pork was over cooked & was precooked & warmed up when we ordered it. The fish was ok but very tiny. All of the portion sizes were small and not very good. Sorry to say but the food wasn't very good & there is too much competition w/better food

My boyfriend and I tried the Al pastor tacos, steak tacos, and breakfast chorizo burrito. Everything was super flavorful and left us feeling very full but not heavy- which is a feeling I experience with many Mexican restaurants these days. The service was great, everyone was kind and very quick. The restaurant was small, had some seating, and was overall very clean. We'll be back for sure!

Taco town recently opened in a strip mall in Arlington Heights. The restraunt is geared more for take out, even though they do have indoor seating. The girl who took our order was very friendly and polite. I tried a chicken taco salad. It was packaged very well and was in one piece . The salad had rice , beans, avocado, chicken and sour cream. The taco shell was flaky. My husband tried steak and shrimp tacos. They had cilantro and onions and were on corn tortillas. Overall, they were very good. They could provide a larger portion of salsa, it definitely was not enough. I'd also recommend for a new place, they offer some specials to entice customers to come in.

After we were seated, the staff quickly gave us water as we looked over the menu. I was not in the mood for a fancy breakfast so I went traditional, Two Eggs over medium, veggie patties (homemade), hash browns and pancakes with decaffeinated coffee with honey. The food came in a nice time, not too long and not too quick- enough to have a nice conversation while waiting. When the food came, everything was cooked to perfection. The eggs over medium, the hash browns were cooked and had that bit of crunch from the skillet. Pancakes were a nice size. And the veggie patties were tasty! The coffee with just honey hit the spot. It appears everyone else really liked their food as it was pretty quiet. Lol. I enjoy this place especially bringing family and friends from out of town. Good times and great memories.

The portions are generous to the point where your plate feels like it's making a promise it fully intends to keep. Whether it's pancakes, omelets, or something a little more creative, the food comes out hot, fresh, and exactly what you hoped to enjoy. The menu walks that perfect line between classic and creative. Things like loaded skillets, sweet crepes, and standout omelets get a lot of love, and for good reason. And then there's the service, which honestly might be the secret ingredient. Even when it's busy, and it does get busy, the staff keeps things moving while still making you feel like you're taken care of. Friendly, attentive, and quick without being rushed, it's the kind of service that makes a place feel personal. I wandered into The Southern Kitchen…read more The room was packed with yuppies and suburban families trying to keep syrup off children who had clearly declared war on napkins. Then Nevi appeared. Good God. Every civilization has one person capable of making you briefly forget your own name. Nevi was that person. She looked like the sort of woman who could convince a jury to acquit you of crimes you'd actually committed. As a waitress? Adequate. She took the order. She brought iced tea. She never once inspired me to write poetry about customer service. She wasn't bad, just operating under the unfortunate handicap of looking like she belonged in a magazine instead of carrying breakfast to hipsters with too much disposable income. The chicken and waffles arrived looking like they'd been designed by a committee of Southern grandmothers with a complete disregard for cholesterol or moderation. The chicken shattered under the fork with a glorious crunch that echoed across the room like a rifle shot at dawn. Juicy inside. Properly seasoned. No gimmicks. The waffles were exactly what waffles should be: sturdy enough to support a reckless amount of syrup without collapsing into emotional ruin. However... their syrup suuuuucked! I needed the godd**n jaws of life to get it out of the bottle as it limply drizzled in my waffle at the speed of molasses. The chicken & waffles though? Together they formed one of those rare culinary alliances... Just excellent fried chicken sitting confidently on an excellent waffle, as nature intended. Meanwhile, Nevi drifted through the dining room causing minor traffic accidents in the peripheral vision of every man under eighty. If she'd also been an exceptional waitress, there would've been riots. Five stars. Nevi was worth briefly reconsidering my life choices. And the iced tea was strong enough to convince me that, despite all available evidence, America might survive another week.
