First time here . Kept seeing it posted online and had to try it out. I went pretty early in the day but some of the stuff was already gone and I guess they don't have more in the back so that was a little disappointing. But the things I got were all very fresh and delicious, definitely would be going back . I will try to go when they open so I'm able to get the stuff I see in their pictures .

I stopped in at the Arlington Heights Tous Les Jours for some tea and a treat. My friend and I really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be coming back. Interior is nice and clean with plenty of seating. It's also nice that it's open till 9pm on weekdays. They have really good Korean treats (and drinks). I got a matcha latte and a matcha brownie. They were very good. I highly recommend their bakery goods (I'm obsessed with anything green tea or matcha related). Service was prompt and order took no time at all to receive.

A great quiet place to work or meet a friend and grab some French inspired pastries and desserts! The drinks are not to be missed as well! I luved how the space was a bright and cheerful spot!!

This place is dangerous unless you run marathons and can eat whatever you want. It smells great, cute place and lots of delicious treats. The staff was really nice and we enjoyed our pastries and coffee. I wish I'd have seen the egg bites before I grabbed the croissant...next time.

Tous Les Jours is a Korean bakery franchise that blends French baking traditions with Asian flavors. Upon walking in I noticed the bright, clean , modern aesthetic. The seating areas is clean and airy . The cafe is self serve. You grab a tray and tongs and wax paper to line your tray. The bakery items, breads and pastries are displayed in well lit cases . There is also an area with whole cakes or sliced cake portions in a refrigerated glass case. You take the tray to the register, to check out and order coffee or tea. I purchased a few bakery items for a friend's birthday and a tea latte . I asked for the items to be placed in a box and I was charged extra for the box. The latte did not have any steamed milk, when I mentioned it they poured some milk on top. The pastries and selections were good, but charging for a box and a latte without milk, made the experience less than expected.

Large well-lit seating area. Lots of cakes on display. Beverages are served on non-compostible plastic. Wished they were served in sustainable stoneware cups or glasses. Matcha tiramisu iced latte was good.

I was very excited to see a French bakery in/near Chicago and I absolutely had to give it a try. When I tell you this bakery transports me right back to Paris I mean the only thing missing is French speaking natives! I had a spinach and cheese pastry and a chocolate croissant with a tiramisu latte. My daughter had a mango cream filled donut and a strawberry pastry with some mango juice. The pastries were absolutely done perfectly! Flaky, buttery, and just so good. The spinach and cheese pastry has just a hint of sweetness with a creamy cheesy filling on the inside and just enough spinach to make you feel like you're doing something healthy. The chocolate croissant was a bit heavier and worth every bite! My daughter said the strawberry pastry had a layer of jelly on the bottom, then whipped cream and fresh strawberries of course. She said the only thing that could be done is to have a little strawberry in the whipped cream and it would be perfect. The mango filled donut was perfectly sweet and creamy. Overall a very nice experience! I wish we had one closer to home! They nail it with the ambiance, cleanliness, flavor, quality, freshness, and service.

With so many Korean bakery locations nearby (Handsome, Paris Baguette, other TLJ locations), another Tous Les Jours location opening wouldn't be that big of a deal. However, this is a standout location. At every TLJ you expect a nice selection of delicious french style pastries at very reasonable prices, with a lot of variety from croissants to creamy items to more standard breads. And a wide array of fillings that can range from beans and yuzu to chocolate and strawberries. This is consistently delicious with great textures and clear themes at every location. Where this location really excels is overall execution. While some locations may start running out of a good number of items later in the evening, this spot still has a reasonably good selection available going into the final hour before closing time. Other locations are overall clean and bright, but this takes a step further with meticulously good cleanliness throughout the entire store and restroom. The restaurant itself feels brighter, maybe owing to the windows, open layout, fresh paint, and furniture. The food displays are also well maintained, with every pastry carefully laid out in an organized and attractive manner (particularly the cakes). This matches well with the elegant signage and beautiful looking digital drink menus. Perhaps the biggest asset of this location is the seating. While we expect every TLJ to have functional seating that's good enough to enjoy the treat and have a short chat, this location offers some seats with padding and lower tables, that make it comfortable to have extended chats. Even when full, the noise level isn't super loud and the layout makes it quite easy to walk around, go to the restroom, and easily order additional treats. Overall very nice location with above average decor, cleanliness, and comfort. My friends who have visited have complimented how on how elegant and comfortable a visit to here felt, which now puts it as one of my top choices to go for a post-dinner dessert and conversation.

I know it's a chain. But there are chains, and there are chains - this is one of the better ones. Most everything here is of the highest quality. And when I tell you they are to die for ,I'm not exaggerating. Must purchase items: butter cream bread, taro cream bread, milk soft bread, strawberry soft bread and last but not least mango cream croissant. This last one especially( mango croissant) is TO Die For! Also the staff specifically Fim is especially caring.

My husband and I went to the newest Tous Les Jours with some friends for dessert on a Wednesday night. I was immediately impressed with the layout. Everything was organized and clean. They had a great selection for that late at night. We got some pastries and an iced mocha latte. Everything tasted great. Just like at their other locations. There are plenty of comfortable areas to sit and enjoy your food and time with friends. I highly recommend Tous Les Jours!

Croque Monsieur and chocolate almond croissant.

First time visiting and everything looked very beautiful. Bought quite a bit of pastry's (chocolate hazelnut and chocolate almond croissant) strawberry cream shell, quavers tart and onion mushroom tart. 2 croque monsieur. Had some ladies over for a tasting, it all looked wonderful but ate up everything before I could take pictures. The only complaint was with the croque monsieur. It only had 1 thin slice of ham and instead of using the usual Gruyère it was cheddar, but everyone 's plates were clean!

    Great pastry and coffee

We recently diverged from our usuals and tried the sando with pork katsu. It had some shredded vegetable and ketchup-base sauce. I am indifferent to it but I am not opposed to trying the other savory items. We have gone on different days and times over the years. The shelves are almost always well-stocked. Sometimes we would have a brief wait for them to replenish the raisin bread loaves but it is the mister's favorite so it is worth it. The bakery staff are very friendly and quick so the lines are kept moving.

This has been my routine for decades, yet I just realized that I had never actually left a rating for it. What makes this bakery especially appealing is its soft, airy, and smooth bread and buns, which are handmade using ingredients sourced directly from Japan. My personal favorite is the red bean bun. While my sister loves their sandwiches and milk bread, which has an incredibly soft, fluffy, and moist texture. All of their bread and buns are made fresh daily. Many years ago, they even allowed their staff to take home any unsold sandwiches and bread at the end of the day! With increasing competition from newer Korean and Taiwanese bakeries, I hope Pastry House Hippo continues to stay competitive. As a self-serve bakery, it would be nice if the buns were individually wrapped, something many other bakeries already do, to help prevent contamination from careless customers. My most recent visit was on the second day of the new year, and I was happy to see the shop bustling with customers. I hope this little bakery continues to thrive for many years to come.

While I understand that this is a small run shop I will say that standing in line and waiting on a Saturday morning really is discouraging. The food however, a super delicious and came out very timely. So absolutely no complaints for me and they also have a water station set up so you can help yourself to water which is fantastic. After sitting around for about an hour to an hour and a half this place got super packed with families's children and strollers which made it even harder to move around. The ambience is fantastic so definitely worth it for your social media. I would come back here again, however I'm not really someone to order alcohol here at this time but for breakfast I think it's great.
