Taco Vanny has reasonably priced $2.50 Barbacoa carne asada pastor & carnitas Mexican street tacos and house made green and red hot sauce in the Seffner area east of Tampa. After placing my order at the food truck, the tacos came out in about 5 minutes which wasn't bad considering 2 other patrons were also waiting for their lunch orders. Service is not applicable as you place your order at a food truck and then pick it up when it is ready. The lady at Taco Vanny was courteous but not particularly friendly. Taco Vanny is not a bad option if you're in the area for take away but not for dining. I had the barbacoa and carnitas tacos and flavor was not bad but not the best. Adding the house made green and red hot sauces help with the flavor. The tacos were a bit on the small side so definitely recommend getting at least 3 instead of 2 if you're hungry. Taco Vanny's Atmosphere is not great. Taco Vanny is a food truck w outdoor shaded seating, 6 wooden park benches, and plenty of parking on a dirt lot but there's no service or indoor dining or Air conditioning. The steak tacos definitely run supreme here! Me and my buddy decided to go out for a few tacos for lunch! Popped open my trusty Yelp app and typed in tacos! So here we are lol. Pretty good tacos and as for drinks they only have Jarrito, coke, and water. The tacos were packed with flavor along with cilantro and onions. Their green sauce was amazing and had a good kick to it. This place has some of the finest enchiladas I've ever tasted! It comes with a red sauce that packs a strong kick! I like my food hot so I didn't mind the extra heat . It's located in a plaza with an insurance company and car wash business next to the rooms to go. The flavor is succumb with a unique blend of spices and bold flavor. Each taco is only $1.25 each.. how can you beat that?? I started with three tacos... but loved them so much I had to order three more. This is the best homemade taco place in this area! Definitely recommend if you want some really good authentic Mexican food!!!

FRESHNESS. They cook everything as you order. The empanadas are flaky and buttery and super fresh. Tacos are delicious freshly made street sized tacos. Prices are great. Since they make everything with love, it takes a bit, so I recommend calling in to order (and practice your Spanish). The only things they can improve on is to have their own salsa, right now the hot sauce is generic. I've added this place to my favorites. read more
