Excellent tacos. I LOVE that they double wrap the corn tortillas because most places they break immediately and then it's a mess. And the prices are excellent. I will be back soon!

Nice people. Fast service brought lists of customers. Food was good. We liked our 3 tacos (fish, chicken, and birria), burrito bowl, cheese and chips. Really I have no constructive comments.

I was in Mexico a month ago and every time I was getting tacos over there, I kept thinking how in the heck is Taco Zocalo back home tasting better than most Mexican tacos?? I eventually found a great taco place in Mexico but Taco Zocalo still beats most of them. I cannot recommend this place enough. Every time I'm craving tacos, it's Taco Zocalo time for me. Taco Bamba, Bar Taco, nah nah. It's Taco Zocalo! Insert Drake meme here. The downside of tacos being so good here is that I don't know what else on their menu is good LOL Note that the one by Wiehle Ave is the OG place. There have been a few branches opened since they are doing so well. I've been getting tacos at the OG place for years now and it tastes the best in my opinion. The new branches are great too but the OG place always takes it up a notch consistently. The place is quite small so if you're planning to dine in, it may or may not have open tables. However, know that people usually pick up or get delivered most of the time. My go-to order is a three-taco combo with 1 steak and 2 fish. I switch between flour and corn tortillas from time to time. I like them both. Don't forget to get the chips and salsa. The salsa here is out of this world. Pair it all with tamarind soda! You must know that pictures cannot represent very well the way they taste. You just have to try it. Did I forget to mention it's CHEAP?

The tortillas for the tacos were very thick and it was very dry. The chips and salsa was very good. The burrito bowl was good as well. The price was reasonable.

Came here for lunch on a weekend and it pretty busy, we got the last table available. I ordered the lunch special which I don't think is worth since it's around the same price as 3 tacos and the beans and rice aren't super large. I think that 3 tacos would have been better. The tacos themselves were pretty great though. I got the steak and the chicken since that's what I usually get and both were excellent

Service, while staff was nice, was not up to par-forgot a bunch of stuff and seemed overwhelmed tending to the demands of the large crowd during our visit. It was hard to enjoy when the AC seemed to be off, it was hot inside and while it was a warm day, outside in the shade was cooler... we got out do quickly after eating half of most of our meals, six in my party all had varying complaints. I spoke to the manager and he was nice enough but really just gave me lip service for he just stood where he was after talking to him and while we ate could see he was just there...basically did not change the temp even after promising he would. In fact, as we ate our meals, it got even worst...what a letdown. A friend had to beg for a glass of milk to cool her palette down she was red hot not only by the food but the warm room temp was added culprit! My hubby and I were never a fan but a friend really craved " Mexican " and in obligating her, Mexican she will have, and this place was it, near the concert we were attending so we were all in good spirits. Yet the place was such a disappointment, not that we expect any better. We always had lower expectation but despite that the carne Asada my hubby and I ordered and shared lacked the necessary grill marks or charring, taste was on point surprisingly!. I supposed the 2nd redeeming quality of UJ, the Carne Asada always tastes good despite the texture like I mentioned one would expect in a grilled meat-especially & prominently written on the description...i could go on and on but I'll say and give UJ this, the complimentary chips were light and nice and better than most Tex-Mex i've had in the recent visits...and yea, the 3rd redeeming quality of this place, almost... They can do better but I won't know for I have no desire to visit anytime soon!

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

And, I'm not sure if this place serves the best tacos on the planet, but I can say that they certainly serve the best tacos that I've ever had! I came here just after flying into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), nonstop from Los Angeles (LAX). I hadn't eaten since I was in Los Angeles because I refuse to eat that terrible airplane food. Needless to say, I was pretty hungry by the time I arrived. I walked in without a reservation, at about 9pm, and they appeared to be moderately busy. Shortly after entering a friendly hostess guided me to a comfortable booth. As I looked around this business, I was immediately pleased with the "cool vibe" that this place had. Several folks were either dining together or socializing at the bar. My immediate thought was that this would be a really pleasant place to take someone special on a date. Shortly after being seated, a waitress stopped by my table and introduced herself. Her name was Alayna. Seeing that I was new to this restaurant, she quickly went over the menu and other details unique to this restaurant. She was also careful to ask if I had any food allergies, because a lot of folks have these. I told her how much I appreciated her focus on this because two of my kids have food allergies that I have to watch out for. I ordered a pomegranate limonada to drink, which was incredibly refreshing. For my first round of tacos, I ordered the "baja fish" taco, the "roasted duck" taco, and the "sesame ribeye" taco. For my second round, I ordered the "carne asada" taco, the "yukatán shrimp" taco, and the "crispy oyster" taco. And boy, these tacos not only satisfied my hunger, they were all absolutely delicious! Throughout my experience here, Alayna was incredibly professional, attentive, and pleasant. If you're ever in the Reston area, I would highly recommend that you stop by here for a meal. This was a solid five-star experience!

There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
