    Mancha ribeye

Tucked away in an unassuming shopping center but very worth checking out. The restaurant is very open and nicely decorated. Would be a great date place or for a group gathering. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server was able to accommodate our requests without hesitation. Food was delicious and the portions are very generous. We got the burrito and it was huge! They definitely didn't skimp on the protein there. The Mancha ribeye was delicious as well. The poblano potatoes were very good - thinly sliced potatoes with a poblano cream sauce. Delicious. Don't sleep on the dessert either - the flan was definitely the perfect finishing touch. Will definitely add to our rotation!

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Leesburg! Everything is so fresh, and love all the handmade salsas and salsas. My go to are the tacos - love the octopus one especially. Their Palomas are also fabulous made with fresh grapefruit juice. Service is always great and the restaurant space is so welcoming and vibrant.

Absolutely incredible! Wow--I'm blown away by the flavors and quality of the food at Mancha! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, packed with authentic flavor and made with such fresh ingredients. You can truly taste the care that goes into everything. Ivan, the manager, was so friendly and kind--his warm hospitality made the entire experience even better. This is hands down my new favorite restaurant! A solid 10 out of 10--a must-try for anyone who loves amazing Mexican food!

Mancha Cocina is a Mexican restaurant near the Leesburg Outlet Mall. We went on a Wednesday for my mom's birthday dinner. There's plenty of free and easy parking in the lot in front of the location. The service was a bit slow for how empty the restaurant was. We waited quite a bit for our water and for someone to bring out chips + salsa. Our food came out relatively quickly compared to how long it took to order. The menu is pretty standard for Mexican food, but the prices were a little bit too high for the portion size and flavor. The fajitas, esquites, and chicken quesadilla all needed more seasoning, they were a bit bland. The ambiance was nice though. It was good for small groups and casual to nice dinner with family. They didn't, however, offer anything special for birthdays.

First of all, I loved that this restaurant was very spacious and the aesthetic was very nice. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful when we asked questions about the menu. The complimentary Chips + Salsa was very good, the salsa had so much flavor to it. Be mindful though, that they charge extra if you request for more. The Burrazo was a great deal in my opinion, as the quantity of steak, chicken, and shrimp was a lot! The food was very flavorful and delicious, and I would definitely come back here again.

Placed an order for pick up today on my way to work. I opted for a couple of tacos and queso. I appreciate that the queso comes with a decent amount of chips, which is uncommon these days (free of charge). The tacos in my opinion, lacked flavor. The queso was delicious as always. Service was quick and friendly.

I have an addiction to this place. The Birria tacos are amazing and the cocktails are amazing. Great service and very nice staff. Love the atmosphere here too.

Thanks to a local social media group we realized this wasn't a fast casual spot which we assumed by its location and signage. So we went and had lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised we were given a lunch menu option at 2pm on a Sunday. Ambiance is great with plenty of booths and free standing tables and a small bar with a handful of chairs too. When we walked in there was a host and what appeared to be a manager working on some paperwork at the host stand. The manager never even bothered to look up from what he was doing or acknowledge us which I thought was odd. The hostess did greet us after a few minutes and got us seated quickly. I was happy to see it was pretty busy for a Sunday late afternoon. Our server was pleasant and took our drink orders quickly. I love they have glass bottled coke. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and we really liked the salsa. There was 3 of us so we asked for some more and our server told us it would be extra so we passed. She did bring us some hot sauces we weren't charged for which were delicious. I had the Mole enchiladas which were incredible. The mole sauce was so good, I'll definitely be back again. It was served with rice which I really liked. Others at the table got the mango salmon which was also served with rice and roasted vegetables (multi colored carrots which were great) and the Birria torta. The Birria torta could have used consume for dipping, but still had good flavor. The torta was on lunch menu and came with chips which were good, but we'd love to try fries next time. Overall, great food and atmosphere and our server was attentive. We will definitely be adding this to our rotation.

Found this spot when I was in the area for some holiday shopping. I ordered the Burrazo - It is filled with 3 types of meat - steak, chicken and shrimp along with rice beans etc. I was very skeptical to try but was feeling adventurous. I am glad I did. The flavors and texture worked so well together. Very nice dish. The Tres Leches was okay. The complimentary chips were warm and nice. Will be back to try other items in the menu.

I came in once after playing tennis for a couple of hours, so I was starving. I sat at the bar and was served shortly after. The restaurant is very clean with several booths and tables and chairs. The bar can also seat a handful of guests, if you wish to sit at the bar, which is where I chose to sit. The decor is very modern and welcoming. They also keep a fairly clean dining area; the bathroom is also really clean. I was served my drink and complementary chips and salsa in a timely manner. The waiter also took my order quickly. I had the chicken fajitas from the lunch menu with a coke. The fajitas came with sour cream, pico de gallo, guac, mexican rice and refried beans along with 2 or 3 tortillas. The chicken fajitas were absolutely delicious. I actually was able to finish the whole dish, when I usually have some left over. The staff are friendly and patient. I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door. Service is quick and solid: my waiter checked in on me at the right and made sure my drink was refilled and that I didn't need anything else. I would definitely come back again.

Good overall. Stopped in for lunch. Portions were small but it was lunch portions so that may be why. Service was fast and friendly. We tried the steak fajitas and steak burrito. They were pretty good. Salsa was a little Smokey flavored so not my favorite but it was fresh and otherwise good.

Awesome real Mexican cuisine in an area where it is definitely needed. My family and I find it hard sometimes to find a good spot to pick for dinner in the area and this is now one we can happily settle on! Mancha was packed the night we went with almost every table having customers. The hostess was friendly and quick to seat us despite the crowd. We ordered the queso with chorizo to start. You also only get one complimentary chip basket with salsa and you have to pay after that so be mindful! The queso was delicious and came with three tortillas, but we wish we had gotten an extra one since there were 4 people and 3 isn't really enough for the serving size they give you. Two people ordered enchiladas and the rest of us got tacos. Overall everything tasted great and fresh, the only downside is that it can be pricey. When you get three tacos your looking at $15 plus, not including a side. our service was friendly but a little slow, which is to be expected with the crowd but an extra waitress could help as it felt like ours was taking a lot of tables. Overall this is a great place to eat with delicious food, and friendly service, but just be mindful it's a little bit more expensive and it's different than other Mexican restraints in the area that have included sides and "endless" chips and salsa.

I rate restaurants within their category and concept. I am not comparing a neighborhood Mexican…read morerestaurant to a Michelin star fine dining experience. If a place delivers quality food, represents its cuisine well, and exceeds expectations for its setting, that earns a high rating from me. We recently visited Casa De Avila in Leesburg, and I have to start with the horchata because it was truly the star of the meal. I am of Mexican heritage, my mom is Mexican, and I grew up drinking homemade horchata. This one tasted just like it should. It was creamy, clearly made with milk and condensed milk, with that soft sweetness and a gentle hint of cinnamon. It honestly tasted homemade, and that alone made me smile. Now, it is hard for me personally to give most Mexican restaurants 5 stars, and that has more to do with my background than the restaurant itself. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and grew up eating incredible home cooking from my mom, who is an amazing cook. That naturally shapes my expectations. In the DMV area, it has been tough to find truly authentic Mexican flavors. With the exception of La Jarochita, and Mancha Cocina Mexicana, which is more elevated but very well done, good Mexican food can be hard to come by here. All that said, Casa De Avila serves very good food and is probably the best I have found in this category locally. The sopes were made fresh, which makes a huge difference in both flavor and texture. The tacos were solid overall. The asada was very good, well seasoned and flavorful. The al pastor was good, but it did not quite have that deep, traditional flavor you get from proper trompo style preparation. The esquites were also tasty, and the kids loved that they added hot Cheetos. That is a trend we saw in Los Angeles years ago, so it felt fun and nostalgic to see it here. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be about the salsa. The salsa served tasted more like a bottled style Mexican salsa. I would love to see a true house made salsa roja or salsa verde, the kind where you char the tomatoes, tomatillos, chiles, and onions before blending. That deep roasted flavor is such a big part of authentic Mexican cooking and would elevate the whole experience even more. The service was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the staff really helped make the experience even better. Overall, Casa De Avila is doing a lot right. The food is flavorful, the horchata is exceptional, and it stands out in an area where good Mexican food is not easy to find. While my personal background makes me a tough critic, this is still a place I would happily return to. A solid 4 stars.
