Birria taco on the left and Patagonia on the right. I added spicy and medium sauce to both.

This place has some killer unique tacos. I've been eating here for years and it's consistently the best taco spot around, especially if you like "stuff" on your tacos!

We stumbled upon Señor Ramon while running some errands and are happy for this stumble! Friendly service and clean dining area, and the tacos were delicious, as was the side of guacamole and chips. The Patagonia taco was especially tasty. We'll be sure to return and try more of the menu.

While the prices are a bit high, this is one of the rare instances where I agree with the consensus opinion. My sole critique is that the tortillas could have had more flavor and texture. In terms of the contents, however, each taco is delightful and offers something a little different; but isn't aggressively novel or divergent, either. Some are a tad dry; others aren't. True rating: 3.45 to 3.7 out of 5. Very much not a 4; but still above grade, relatively and on its own. Conclusion: worth a visit. Definitely order a wide array of tacos. Perhaps consider having your own pico, guacamole, or aioli on the side as accoutrement.

I can not get enough of these tacos!! I come just about every day for the cordero (lamb) and carne asada traditional tacos!! And the roasted mexican corn is out of this world! A must try if AUTHENTIC is what you want! It's definitely a hidden gem!!

One of THE BEST tacos in the area. I'm from california and if you can make a california girl happy with your tacos that means you're doing it right! Great service! Really clean and big spot with plenty of parking spots available. This place is my go to Mexican food whenever I miss home. Thank you for serving such flavorful delicious food and please continue to do so and never change your chef, PLEASE!

Nice NOVA taco chain, the tacos are more Americanized with sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and shredded cheddar. While the crispy corn tacos are tasty and packed with ingredients, there are too many toppings and the flavor isn't quite balanced. Note there is no alcohol sold. I was looking forward to the Cali taco and chomping down on zesty grilled portobello mushrooms and charred corn, but they were buried under the overpowering sour cream and shredded cheese. Although the Veggie Azteca taco was loaded with caramelized onions, I could barely taste them. Somehow, the flavors of the cotija cheese, charred corn, pico de gallo, cilantro cream, and caramelized onions just didn't quite blend well. Less is more with ingredients. The crispy Spinach and Cheese Empanada was the best part of our meal! It was packed with spinach and appreciate how it wasn't oozing with cheese. Paired really well with the creamy cilantro sauce from the corn nuggets. Would definitely request the sauce! The Corn Nuggets are really sweet and taste like hush puppies filled with kernels of sweet corn. While I enjoyed a couple of nuggets and fun to try, they were a bit too sweet and quickly threw in the towel. The creamy cilantro sauce on the side was divine! The Chips and Guac and Salsa was another miss. The chips tasted stale with hardly any flavor. Got a scant amount of guac for $2.75. The salsa was the best part! Senor Ramon was fun to try and nice to support this growing small NOVA business. The tacos aren't particularly memorable and feel like I can make at home. I prefer Taco Bamba with fewer ingredients and more balanced flavor - hold the sour cream, shredded cheese, and guac!

Tripe, Senor Ramon, & Beef Tongue

Ordering take-out w.some friends, they suggested Senor Ramon as one of their favorite Taqueria's in the area. Initially, I was excited to try them out, as the tacos were inexpensive and the menu had a lot of taco variety. Though admittedly we weren't interested in any of their sides, so we decided to pick up sides from a Pupuseria nearby. The tacos varied from $3 (normal street tacos-meat w/cilantro & onions only) & $4 for packed specialty tacos. Pumped to see tongue and tripe on the menu, I ordered one of each, along with a Senor Ramon house specialty taco. & My hubby ordered the flounder, lamb, and ghost taco. When the tacos arrived, we had at least 6 to go containers w/3 tacos in each. They did not label the boxes, so it took awhile to figure out which taco belonged to whom. I really think they could have at least put a shorthand label on top of the boxes. The worst part, as we were figuring out who got what taco, major disappointment set in as most of the tacos were barely filled with ingredients. It seemed the house tacos; just meat, had one tiny scoop of meat, barely filling the taco. They served the tacos traditionally, i.e they had two corn tortilla per taco, but this is really a technique for managing filled & juicy tacos...when they are not filled & juicy, like these were...then it's just a lot of tortilla. I will say, there was a quality of flavor spice and freshness, but it was short lived as really each taco only had enough for a bit of quality flavor, then emptiness. The specialty tacos had more filling, making them less depressing, but the flavor wasn't impressive; the ghost taco was barely hot, I didn't get a unique nip taste. The Senor Ramon was all corn and guac. No balance. Overall, the quality of the tacos, I would pay $.50-1 for. They do not stand up to the hype or price.

Ambience: Inviting-Not the average takeout place. There are tables and a bar with good music, I could totally hangout there but I have been in a rush both times and ordered takeout instead. I have seen folks grabbing drinks and food there, some with their laptop working, or hanging out with beers I could also grab a drink while waiting for my order but they do a great job at turning around my takeout orders, not enough time to enjoy my drinks Food: Great, like Bar Taco quality without the wait. All good comes with 4 kinds of sauces. Must try!

Always amazing tacos! This was my first time to this location and it was as consistent as the others. The counter had easy ordering and there was ample outside seating was available. The tacos were full and so tasty! Amazing value for the quality and "stuffedness" of the taco!

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

Another food runner immediately brought us water and chips and salsa. The salsa tasted a little bland and felt like it was missing some salt or some other seasoning/ingredient. We ordered another round but it was about the same. The chips were great. The seafood enchiladas I ordered were flavorful and there was a great spread of guacamole, sour cream, beans and rice. The plates were served hot and the kitchen had the good come out quite quickly which was appreciated. We'll be back!

And, I'm not sure if this place serves the best tacos on the planet, but I can say that they certainly serve the best tacos that I've ever had! I came here just after flying into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), nonstop from Los Angeles (LAX). I hadn't eaten since I was in Los Angeles because I refuse to eat that terrible airplane food. Needless to say, I was pretty hungry by the time I arrived. I walked in without a reservation, at about 9pm, and they appeared to be moderately busy. Shortly after entering a friendly hostess guided me to a comfortable booth. As I looked around this business, I was immediately pleased with the "cool vibe" that this place had. Several folks were either dining together or socializing at the bar. My immediate thought was that this would be a really pleasant place to take someone special on a date. Shortly after being seated, a waitress stopped by my table and introduced herself. Her name was Alayna. Seeing that I was new to this restaurant, she quickly went over the menu and other details unique to this restaurant. She was also careful to ask if I had any food allergies, because a lot of folks have these. I told her how much I appreciated her focus on this because two of my kids have food allergies that I have to watch out for. I ordered a pomegranate limonada to drink, which was incredibly refreshing. For my first round of tacos, I ordered the "baja fish" taco, the "roasted duck" taco, and the "sesame ribeye" taco. For my second round, I ordered the "carne asada" taco, the "yukatán shrimp" taco, and the "crispy oyster" taco. And boy, these tacos not only satisfied my hunger, they were all absolutely delicious! Throughout my experience here, Alayna was incredibly professional, attentive, and pleasant. If you're ever in the Reston area, I would highly recommend that you stop by here for a meal. This was a solid five-star experience!

There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
