    Al Pastor and Birria tacos
    Steve G.

It's brand new, and it's a MUST TRY!!! My friend Ramon Gallo just opened a new food truck in Westborough with his business partner Andres Paulino - called Tacoborough @ 49 Otis Street in Westborough. . Not just great food, but dripping with authenticity. I tried both the pork (Al Pastor) and the Birria tacos, both delicious!! Please ask for their special recipe hot, really tasty! (I think that is Andres' recipe) Can't wait to come back and try more items. Congrats and best of luck to you both!!!

The guy running the food truck is the nicest person you could meet. The food is decent but a bit expensive for me.

We ordered 18 wings with a buffalo sauce, mango habanero, and fig balsamic. All delicious. Also ordered the brisket plate that comes with 2 sides and cornbread. Brisket was tender, some parts were a little fatty, sauce was nice. Sides were collard greens, coleslaw. We also ordered extra sides of beans and onion rings. Beans had a kick to them and had chopped brisket. Onion rings were nice and big. Coleslaw was standard. Collard greens were a bit overcooked but flavorful. Cornbread was sweet and moist but not too sweet, which I prefer

It looks like over-the-counter ordering, but they wait on you. Only one server for the whole hoppin' place, which can cause waits. It can get noisy too. -- Fiery Honey Jerk: Nondescript sauce with mostly sweetness but little hints of jerk rub. Very small wings, and not crispy, but decent tenderness and moisture. -- Smokin' Chipotle Buffalo: I wasn't sure if these would taste more like chipotle or Buffalo. Fortunately, it was the latter. Less fortunately, a very light application of sauce, and similarly not crispy, but noticeably larger, especially the drums. Inner texture slightly moist. There's plenty to return for, and I've had some good experiences at their Millbury location in the past, so I'll be back. But for now, can't go higher than a 3.

They also have street corn in a cup, empanadas, chips & dips, desserts (tres leches cake, churros, brownies) and cold drinks & Mexican sodas. They also have other locations in Worcester and New Bedford. This establishment is takeout and delivery (third party apps) only with no inside seating, just the pickup counter and minimal standing room. I placed an online order for a Grilled Chicken Taco Salad ($9.90 plus tax) and 2 Soft Tacos (Carnitas & Steak) ($5.75 plus tax) with customizations such as sour cream lettuce, pico de gallo, mild sauce & corn added to my food, included in the price. The food was being made to order as I arrived at Cal-Rito's. The food was bagged promptly. I enjoyed the food in the vehicle. The taco salad in a (fried tortilla shell) had a mix of Spanish rice, sour cream, pico de gallo, corn, lettuce, cotja cheese and pieces of savory grilled chicken. As for the soft tacos, the flour tortilas were warm and very soft and loaded with lettuce, pico de gallo, cotja cheese, sour cream and tender steak/soft tender carnitas. I added some taco sauce (packets provided) to the tacos. Overall, the food I ordered was pretty good and I would definitely return again to Cali-Rito's for quick Mexican takeout.

Over the years, the quality went downhill, and ownership announced in late June '23 that they would be closing temporarily and reopen with a "new and improved" Hola. I was excited to check it out tonight Unfortunately, it was hard to find anything improved about the new Hola. The chips and salsa remain very good, and we had plenty of time to enjoy them as our food took a *long* time to come out, despite being just a few customers on a Monday night. Two of the three of us ordered Baja Fish tacos ($17) but they messed up the order and brought Shrimp Gober tacos instead, so we had to wait even longer for them to make the actual food we ordered. Some of the fish tacos were served with very unappealing, old browned avocado, while others had pathetic tiny slivers of fresher avocado. The De Asado tacos ($16) were sparsely filled with super dry meat, accompanied by dry, crispy rice. Not sure if these were just sitting drying out in the kitchen while they remade the fish tacos, or if this is typical. The "avocado sauce" listed on the menu was non-existent, and the main flavor came from using the leftover salsa from our chips to moisten the tacos. Nobody ever came to our table to refill waters or ask if we were enjoying our meal - I really miss the old staff, who were warm and inviting, and seemed genuinely eager to please. If this is the new "improved" Hola, I will mourn the demise of the old Southborough gem that Hola was, and cautiously seek out other Mexican restaurants in the area.

I admit the location may not be fancy near the gas station and service plaza/roadside stop, but I can tell you this is a spot you don't want to miss! Chantaly greeted all the customers with a smile, and she kept the short line moving right along with great efficiency. She helped us decide which grilled cheese sandwich variation we should try. I had the Caprese with both pesto and balsamic spread, and I was a little worried it would be too messy or saucy but it was perfect and amazing! My son had the daily special with boneless beef short ribs and grilled onions. She makes each sandwich to order so you can adjust the choice of bread or any of the ingredients, and she presents it fresh off the grill, hot and fresh. The most popular sandwich we saw several folks order the one that includes their amazing Mac & cheese that is actually spread inside the sandwich! I think you may not be able to go wrong with anything here - I wish I lived in the area. The seating area was very clean, too. Highly recommend you swing off the turnpike and enjoy a meal here!
