It's like a little piece of Nashville in the middle of Westboro. Loved it. Cute place with several high tops for seating. Pop country music playing. Great craft beer selection. I had the wings, delicious. There must have been a dozen sauce options plus the BBQ that is on the table. We also had the loaded sweet potato tots. We met our nephew for lunch at a local spot in our new town. What a great place. The food was amazing. We had sandwiches and they were hefty and delicious. The brisket was tender with a very nice bbq sauce on sourdough bread. Our server was very cool and helpful with questions about the food and sides. I was also impressed with the ambience. Super clean and nicely appointed without overdoing it. Great meal super service local bbq place we will be going back to. I have to find out if they sell the sauce in bottles. They should. First off the service was outstanding! I ordered chicken wings buffalo medium......they were pretty good, I just like mine a bit more crispy. The flavor was spot on for a medium buffalo. I also ordered fries loaded with cheese and bacon.......and OH THEY WERE LOADED! Fries were fantastic, crunchy, hot and fresh, with at least 50lbs of mozzarella.....lol Wife ordered a smoked chicken ranch sandwich....she absolutely loved it. Great flavor very juicy. Wow, stumbled into here when the other restaurant was closed. What a great find. My brother in law had the spicy southern Caesar with added chicken. He loved it. I had the beef barbacoa tacos and a pork slider and the waffle fries. The brisket was fabulous, as was the pulled pork. The amount of meat they serve is tremendous. We will come back. And they have guest wifi which is a prerequisite for a 5 star in my book read more

Excited to try The Coop for the first time. Ordered the chicken ranch on sourdough. the chicken was pink inside with big veins of fat, more like a thigh than a breast. Texture was awful. We told the server who just said "sorry" and left it on our bill although I couldn't eat most of it. Definitely first and last time. read more

I ordered takeout for lunch on a Thursday through GrubHub. The food arrived rather quickly and it was still at an appetizing temperature. . The cheeseburger was cooked medium well, but still juicy and well seasoned. The bun was nice and soft. French fries were alright and I received a very generous portion. I also HAD to try the cinnamon caramel bread pudding. It was so tasty!! Dense but delicious. I saved half for breakfast this morning! Since I ordered through GrubHub I didn't see the inside of the Coop so I can't comment on the ambiance. The food though is above average so I recommend you give the Coop a try. read more

This little spot is right in the heart of downtown Westborough. It's got a cute barnyard type decor, which is really adorable. The food was tasty and full of flavor. Stopped here because my husband LOVES BBQ and we were in the area. I'm am not a big fan of BBQ. That said, this place is AMAZING!! Stacy was terrific. Knowledgeable, attentive, and super friendly. Cheese waffle fries were great ( ask for a side of boom boom sauce!) Pulled pork and southern fried chicken were amazing. Our first time out to The Coops new spot in Shrewsbury. We wanted to try it out because the new location has a bigger area for eating ( the Millbury spot has very limited seating area). Nice location in downtown Shrewsbury, we didn't have any problem finding a street parking spot. The inside is decorated very nicely and they have table service. We both decided on the Rueben with Mac and cheese as we loved that at their other location. We also got a side of collard greens and cornbread. They had quite a few beers to pick from and my husband was happy they had some Jacks Abby beer (one of his favorites) and I got a sweet tea (although they had a few mixed drinks that sounded yummy). Our service was excellent and the sandwiches were amazing (we both could only eat half). I love their Mac and cheese too! Collard greens were almost as good as my recipe and cornbread wasn't too sweet. The Coop is one of our favorite spots to grab some southern food!! read more

With a name like the Coop, I thought they would have a ton of chicken sandwich options. The sandwich menu seems more shaped toward bbq. The sourdough is phenomenal. I really enjoyed the quality of the bread and the other ingredients. It was all fresh and made with care. Perfect cook on everything. Great seasoning. No complaints on the taste and quality. The Brisket, bacon, lettuce, and tomato was awesome. That's definitely a highlight. You should get that sandwich. You can see in the picture how tender and juicy it was. Epic sandwich. I was hoping for a range of chicken sandwiches but alas, The Coop doesn't seem to specialize in that. The closest I could come was some tenders on sourdough. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't get a buttermilk fried chicken breast sandwich. I figured the Coop had to have something like that. Although my Jamaican tenders were expertly prepared and topped with fresh jalapenos, I was still wanting that breast experience. They charge per soda, as I guess put the cans into glasses so you don't know it's not fountain soda. I was surprised when the bill reflected that, assumed it was free refills. Just FYI. Feel like they should do fountain soda and give free refills since you pay a hefty price for the food. Overall it's a bit pricey but the quality is good, so it's justifed. I will come back to try other things. The chicken and waffles sounded good. This is a BBQ and burger place more than a specialty chicken shop. That said, they do a great job at that, just don't come in expecting a chicken focused menu. read more

They've good quality wings with a nice variety of flavors such that I made a point of keeping track what I have tried, so I can try other flavors i hadn't had yet. I had an issue with DoorDash on my order tonight (I had three young kids at home, one who was already sleeping/sick) so I had to get delivery. I called to let the restaurant know something was wrong with my DoorDasher, they never went to the restaurant so my order kept getting delayed(nothing was the restaurants fault). After speaking with a very nice woman on the phone, she advised me to cancel that order and DoorDash would refund me. She was very kind and helpful. I ended up canceling and replacing the order in hopes that they wouldn't lose the food and that my family could get their order! It ended up with a great doordasher delivering the food promptly. The wings seemed reheated, not made to order. The sauces seemed food service quality, not house made. The waffle fries were dry as if pre-made and put into the oven to warm them. The sweet tea was sickeningly sweet as if sweetened by corn syrup, and you can hardly taste the tea. They use disposable dishes and plastic forks & knives. They do use glass mason jars for the drinks, which is good. They only had two beers on draft and one was Coors Light. Nuff said. The server was polite and pleasant. Continually awesome! Always fresh, crunchy tenders and an amazing assortment of sauces -- their brown sugar honey and ghost pepper habanero sauces are my two favorites. I'm so glad there's a location in Westborough now! Super close to where I live. The wings here were spot on. Sauced up real nice, perfectly cooked, and just enough in the order to fill me. My wife also got one of their specialty sandwiches and it was also awesome. The service was really good. I placed a to go order, and my order was ready as soon as I walked in; even though I knew I was a good 5-7 minutes early and may need to wait a few. The staff was also very personable and made good conversation before I headed out. Although on the smaller side inside, the place is really cool on the interior, topped with an amazing piece of artwork on the main wall (I won't spoil it, head in and check it out yourself). I would say that the food was average. The salt content of the House special dry rub is extremely high, and destroys all the other flavors due to it. I would suggest one avoids the House special dry rub if you don't like extremely salty stuff. It's also better imho to serve the BBQ sauce separately than pour it on the meat - that option should be made available. The service and ambience is nice. I tried all of the tacos and they were ok but not worth $5.00 each. They were lacking some avocado, sour cream, and optional hot sauce to add fire. I don't think I'll be order them again!! This review is for the Westboro location. I really wanted to like this place but so disappointed. Service was okay and the buffalo hot wings were way to saucy for my liking. They were the best item on the menu we ordered. The fried pickles were terrible. WAY too salty and the breading was all you tasted. The baby back ribs were VERY sweet and we all did not care for the dry rub they used. BBQ sauce was not your traditional sauce, not sure what was going on that night but 3 out of the 4 had two ribs and had to stop. It was a Sat night and the ribs were very dry. Maybe they are working out the kinks as this location is new but I would spend your money elsewhere. So sad to have to write this. read more

I have been wanting to try this restaurant out since it opened and finally got the chance to! I ordered 1/2lbs habanero & 1/2lbs jerk seasoned boneless chicken + a side of the waffle fries. The chicken was delicious! I'm used to super spicy foods, and if that's what your looking for, the chicken options I ordered are not it. The habenero was spicy and maybe to a normal person they may be spicier, but it didn't much register to my taste buds. Even though not necessarily spicy to me, they were very flavorful. *Westboro location* My boyfriend got food poisoning from here last night. He ordered the single coop burger. Within a half hour after he had eaten it he said he wasn't feeling right. He all of a sudden had excruciating sharp stomach pains. He threw up 8 times. He laid on the bathroom floor in the dark for the rest of the night with cold sweats.
