If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a trailer here about a year ago. They did zero maintenance to the trailer before I bought it. The trailer had sustained massive water damage within one year of having it. I would expect buying a trailer from a dealership they would make sure all seals were good and sealant replaced. I would not Recommend purchasing a used RV from this place. I know have a 40,000 dollar travel trailer that needs 11,000 dollars worth of repairs. I have used it one time off my property in that year time. Tacoma RV will take zero responsibility for there oversight on maintenance. One would expect a 40,000 dollar travel trailer not to leak within a year of purchase especially with one use.

We had such a wonderful experience buying our RV here. There was no pressure at all. We were free to roam all the RV's. When we found one we liked the sales person left us alone, told us to take our time. They didn't push any extended warranty. It was offered and that was it. I would buy there again any time and recommend them to family, friends, and strangers.

Ladonna responded back without even back with some lame excuse about manufacture reasons really I am a 5 1 inch I know what size propane tanks I came into your shop with because all I had to do was open the top and turn the lever not take the whole shroud off and why would I have 2014 and 2018 tanks when I have a 2019 trailer do you really want to continue this ?

BUYER BEWARE: DECEPTION is the name of their game! All you have to do is see all the many, many reviews of the way they treat people. Took the travel trailer out for our first weekend, two kids in tow only to find out the kids' window windows leak next to where they sleep, the skylight leaks over our bed leaks, the bathroom leaks; clearly ZERO inspections and maintenance was performed to sell a new trailer... and they DID NOT fill the propane tanks as they say they do. This place will do anything to make an extra buck off you. My new personal mission is to let everyone know how awful this place is. Well, we paid $3,000 more LAST WEEK for the same Travel trailer you can find at Camping World in Burlingame. I'm so furious. When we do upgrade (and we all do) I'll never go back to Tacoma RV. The more hilarious thing is Erin (the sales manager) wouldn't give us wholesale cost on the drop shank (i requested because of a misunderstanding) but she said she "couldn't just give things away"... um yeah... that's why I asked for wholesale... come to see there are nicer and better dealers that offer better value. #lostacustomerforlife #willt

Our salesperson was very nice and assured us she had our best interest at heart. And we really shouldn't have trusted her, so part of that is our fault. She said the unit had solar (not solar prep, solar power), she said the unit had GPS, she said the dealership offered "same day service". Based on these statements, we decided to go ahead with the purchase. The only negotiation we did on price was to ask that the dealer bring down the cost of the PDI. They agreed, but said we needed to finance in order to get that deal (we were going to pay cash). We agreed and they gave us a $2,000 credit toward our trade in to offset the $4,000 in PDI. We pointed out some items which were either broken or dirty to the salesperson and asked if we should send a list of the the things we found. She said, "No need. I have a great eye and will catch everything." When we arrived to pick up our vehicle, none of the items had been fixed and the unit was dirty (dirty floor, stained curtain, bathroom not clean). I thought the $4,000 included a cleaning and examination of all the major systems. The cleaning was not done and our refrigerator on first use was malfunctioning. We paid full retail price for the extended warranty (which we definitely wanted), but the finance person quoted us a $15,000 price to begin with and then came down to $11,000. After all the paperwork, we paid $12,000. He did give us free Mariner tickets. I would prefer no Mariner tickets and be reasonable and truthful about the price. When we signed all of our paperwork, the manager at the store and the parts person were great. No issues and they took care of the broken piece. They accepted our trade-in with no questions or hassles. Although they gave us $36,000 for our trade, and are now selling it for $92,000, that's on us for not negotiating more. Still stings though :) What hurts the most is just the dishonesty of the experience. We came in good faith, gave them a great trade-in and paid practically full price. We received a unit that was misrepresented in what it contained, dirty, and malfunctioning. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Fortunately, we have an extended warranty and should be able to get it fixed (not "same day" as we were promised but likely 2-3 weeks.)

This was about being lied to, strung along for days, and treated like our time meant absolutely nothing. We came in on Monday, and Betsy was very pleasant. She processed our information and confidently told us we'd be picking up our camper the next day. To say that is too good to be true is an understatement, Betsy was complicit in the delayed information, false expectations and neglect. The following morning, we even received a text telling us to come in and sign paperwork, only to then be told everything had to be pushed back a few days. After multiple text messages and four phone calls before I could finally get anyone on the phone, I was told the finance manager wasn't in, our paperwork simply hadn't been completed yet, and that everything would be finished by Wednesday around noon or 1:00 p.m. We were told to come in, and Betsy would meet us there. When we arrived on Wednesday, Chris, the manager, informed us that our financing had actually been declined on the 28th--the day before we ever stepped foot into Camping World. So while employees were telling us our paperwork was still being worked on, scheduling us to come back, and asking us to wait for the finance manager, they either had no idea what was going on or simply couldn't be bothered to tell us the truth. When I asked what our options were, Chris responded with, "I don't know, I'm not the finance manager." When I explained how frustrating and disappointing this was, he literally shrugged his shoulders and said, "Okay, nothing I can do." That level of customer service from someone calling themselves a manager is unacceptable. No apology. No accountability. No attempt to help. Just complete indifference after wasting several days of our time. It amazes me that Corporate would be ok with this mentality, not even including the excessive amount of bad reviews. Thankfully, we left and went to Tacoma RV Center. The difference was night and day. Their staff treated us like customers instead of inconveniences. They got everything approved and completed within a couple of hours. Even more impressive, when they learned we were hoping to have a camper for the Fourth of July weekend, they rearranged their delivery schedule and moved our walkthrough and delivery date up so we wouldn't miss out on our holiday plans. That's what real customer service looks like. Camping World lost a sale because of poor communication, disorganization, and management that couldn't care less. Tacoma RV Center earned our business because they actually value their customers and were willing to go the extra mile. Save yourself the frustration. Skip Camping World and go Tacoma RV Center. Just down the road and turn right (I think)

Camper Dan listened to our wants and requirements and pointed us to a Surveyor made by Forest River. He said the roof was seamless for realtively maintenance free use. Well, just over a year in. the roof leaked, service couldn't find it the first time, and damaged our cabinets. Yay!!! we have an extended warranty. NOPE. It doesn't cover seals, fittings, on and on. I research because rv's and travel trailers don't have a "Consumer Reports", an unbiased tester, or do they? People think Airstream is good, but I don't want to spend 90k+. Let me tell you research everything and if your think Forest River ANYTHING is good, I wish you the best of luck. Camper Dan is a great salesman, but that's about it. Our trailer sat in service for months and they are still not done. They let us take the trailer because the flooring, with pink mold, is still on order. Here is what we decided to do. We are trading in our beloved piece of crap Surveyor and getting a real travel trailer. My advice to EVERYONE is to do a touch of research. The extended warranties don't cover the number one damage you'd want to have coverage for in the PNW- rain. We are just barely outside of the manufacturer warranty for our 2020 R-pod, which has developed a leak and covered the interior of our trailer with mold over the winter. When I called and asked if this would be covered, they said, "ohhh, yeaaaahhhh... you're supposed to check the seals every 30 days, the warranty doesn't cover this." So, why the hell did your salesman tell me it was a "wall to wall, bumper to bumper" plan? I paid for the top level extended warranty, and now, just over a year in, you're telling me it won't cover a dime? And what am I supposed to do, get out there with a 20 foot ladder and climb on the roof every month to make sure the seals are holding? I don't even know how to do that. Which seals? All of them? What am I looking for? Am *I* a certified technician all of a sudden? Would it be acceptable if a year old car roof started leaking, and Ford or Chevy turned down the warranty because "ohhhh sorryyyyy, you didn't get out there with a vacuum and pressure test all the seals inside the main cab." It's ridiculous. And what's WORSE, is they don't even have availability to look at the damn thing for a month. Kinda wild, it's almost like they're making great money selling shoddy trailers to unexpecting suckers like myself. They'll say anything they can to get you to make a purchase, with all the extra bells and whistles to make you feel protected, then leave you high and dry when it hits the fan. Please. Take your money elsewhere. I don't hate many things, but I loathe dishonesty, deceit, and blatant lack of clarity when making a deal. And the only thing worse than that is a salesman who sells you a trash product, then makes no effort to make it right. Every single one of these people give even the worst used car salesman a bad name. God in heaven please don't let my kid ever grow up and work here. I'll have no choice but to disown him. These values (or lack thereof) have NO place in my family.
