DONT BOTHER WITH THE EXTENDED WARRANTIES. OR DO BUSINESS HERE AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER. I'm sure there are those more experienced who could probably tell you this, but seeing as how we just got first hand experience with this issue, I figured I'd share. The extended warranties don't cover the number one damage you'd want to have coverage for in the PNW- rain. We are just barely outside of the manufacturer warranty for our 2020 R-pod, which has developed a leak and covered the interior of our trailer with mold over the winter. When I called and asked if this would be covered, they said, "ohhh, yeaaaahhhh... you're supposed to check the seals every 30 days, the warranty doesn't cover this." So, why the hell did your salesman tell me it was a "wall to wall, bumper to bumper" plan? I paid for the top level extended warranty, and now, just over a year in, you're telling me it won't cover a dime? And what am I supposed to do, get out there with a 20 foot ladder and climb on the roof every month to make sure the seals are holding? I don't even know how to do that. Which seals? All of them? What am I looking for? Am *I* a certified technician all of a sudden? Would it be acceptable if a year old car roof started leaking, and Ford or Chevy turned down the warranty because "ohhhh sorryyyyy, you didn't get out there with a vacuum and pressure test all the seals inside the main cab." It's ridiculous. And what's WORSE, is they don't even have availability to look at the damn thing for a month. Kinda wild, it's almost like they're making great money selling shoddy trailers to unexpecting suckers like myself. They'll say anything they can to get you to make a purchase, with all the extra bells and whistles to make you feel protected, then leave you high and dry when it hits the fan. Please. Take your money elsewhere. I don't hate many things, but I loathe dishonesty, deceit, and blatant lack of clarity when making a deal. And the only thing worse than that is a salesman who sells you a trash product, then makes no effort to make it right. Every single one of these people give even the worst used car salesman a bad name. God in heaven please don't let my kid ever grow up and work here. I'll have no choice but to disown him. These values (or lack thereof) have NO place in my family. read more

Went and looked at a couple class A diesel RVs at their Kent location and worked with Mike Lee who is a great gentlemen. He took the time to show us and we were able to narrow it down to what we wanted. A unit was in the fife location so it was decided for us to go look at it while Mike waited. We drove 20 minutes to fife location which is very tight parking wise and as we waited for parking a employee waved us through the gate and gestured us to park near the sales building. I was little confused as there was no parking spot anywhere but we pulled up and we hadn't even come to a stop when Sean come up to us and looked visibility annoyed. He asked us if we couldn't find parking somewhere to which we apologize very politely and told him we tried looking but before we could even finish he asked us why we were there and before we could even tell him he told us he didn't have any units left all were sold. We thanked him and assume that he was having a bad day or didn't like something about us. Either case, RV is a luxury purchase and not a necessity. The entire purchase experience has to be great otherwise it takes the whole excitement out. We feel very sorry for Mike Lee at the Kent location but my kid wouldn't let me go back to a Poulsbo dealership. read more

I was sold a poor quality product. Poor customer service once you have paid. Called.for assistance and finally someone answered and told me to contact the manufacturer myself. (Thanks) My RV is 2 years old. Chased lots of dead ends and nobody seems to care. The fiberglass on the exterior was Brown now its turning white. The service department said they have seen it before.( They know about this issue) Wont happen again. You are not going to have any repeat customer here. The manufacturer is Monaco. I don't usually buy new vehicles of any kind. But Poulsbo RV of five had the exact RV with the Chevy chassis and floor plan that met our needs. Billy, the salesman was knowledgeable, and helpful with a Key sense for attention to detail. He and his sales partner Dominique, made it very clear as to how the process would lay out and when we showed up for our pre-delivery inspection it was exactly as described. Our walk-through with Tony took almost 2 hours but Tony proved to be a valuable source of information for getting started in a brand new rig. I had heard horror stories of people buying RVs at other dealerships and getting jacked around with regard to ambiguous pricing and poor customer service. To be fair, with a big purchase like this it often comes down to the right one at the right price more than dealer versus dealer. Our experience with Poulsbo RV was pleasant all the way through. When I was growing up my family owned a small trailer. I have wonderful memories of camping in that trailer. I always wanted one with my family but we couldn't afford it and instead "tent camped." Finally I am able to go shopping for a trailer. I had spent the weekend looking for a trailer. I had decided on one at Tacoma RV, however my roommate's Dad told us, "go to Poulsbo RV". When we arrived we met Bob, he showed us a Cascade Forest River trailer. We liked it and told him that we were looking at a RV at Tacoma RV and they were checking with the bank. I did say I liked the Cascade better. He said, "we will treat you right". We told him Tacoma told us we didn't have to put down a down payment, to keep our money and spend it on the trailer. We told him Tacoma was paying for the tow package & class. He said I can throw that in, he gave me a sheet with what we wanted. And once again, "we will treat you right". We went inside and he gave us a quote of $218.00 a month and he told us his boss would not let him give us the $800.00 PDI, but could deduct the $500.00. I told him we could not do it if it was over $200.00. He said, "if I put down $1.000.00 on my credit card then it would go below $200.00. I reluctantly gave him my card. I didn't want to put $1,000.00 on my card. We then went into Patrick office, where he did the financial part. He told us he could get us $214.00, I told him it had to be under $200.00. That is why I gave him $1,000.00. He worked the numbers and got it under $200.00. We left and then noticed we were being charged for the tow package. We returned and Patrick removed the $500.00, worked the numbers and got us back to $197,00. Now today I received a call from Laura, she told me that the bank she was working with could only get us $258.00 a month, she said she might be able to get it down to $218.00. I was sick, once again the amount that was originally given to me before the $1,000.00 down from my credit card. I tried calling Patrick or Laura but got voice messages. I wrote to the dealership about my disappointment but received no call back. Even though I loved the trailer and was so disappointed in the thought of not owning it. I felt a company who did not return my calls or try and honor the amounts they were quoting wouldn't be there for me down the road either. Now I'm back to looking for a trailer. read more

Bought a 2021 model trailer here. It came with a crushed used mattress; looking to replace that. Had to replace the battery as it didn't capacity test as a new battery should. The window blind strings were falling apart since it was on the lot too; still not properly holding the blinds up. Like buying a car, the travel trailer purchase experience can be stressful. But not at the Poulsbo RV in Fife! Dave met us right away and showed us the R-Pod models we were interested in. During that time, Dave was extremely personable, and we actually had quite a bit in common, so it made the experience that much nicer/easier. Once we made our final decision, we worked through pricing to pay what WE wanted. Mike, in finance, went over the paperwork with us, which also went smoothly. We went to pick our new trailer up the following week, got our walkthrough, then backed our truck up to hook the trailer to it. One critical glitch, we didn't have the right connection plug and would need to have that changed out. Rather than have to leave our new trailer there in Fife, Richard offered to use a company truck to pull the trailer to our house, in Port Angeles! Needless to say, this was above and beyond!! Purchased a used diesel pusher they had on consignment. Paid $10k extra to have them go through the entire coach and fix anything that required attention. BIG JOKE. They didn't even change the engine oil or do anything in the way of engine maintenance. It took them weeks longer than they had promised to get the work done and when we came to pick it up (having never actually driven it), the person who guided us through all the systems in preparation for taking it was 30 minutes late, then had to leave for an appointment so we had maybe 20 minutes to go through it. We determined that only one of the slide covers was replaced even though the service department wanted two ordered, the sales department nixed it. They had also agreed to reimburse us for purchasing batteries up to what it would have cost them to replace them (the ones in the coach were dead). Never happened. On a trip shortly after purchasing it we were stuck because the fan belt on the engine failed and it was obvious it had never been checked...frayed and broke. I had heard it squealing every time we took the coach out but didn't realize what it was. Once the belt was replaced, no more squealing and no more engine overheating. They claimed to have scraped and resealed the roof, but the shroud cover on the a/c was in very poor condition and had a wasp nest in it. No way they took it off and put it back on. We got hosed and I am now certain they also charged the consigner a fee to detail the coach, so the dealership really made out on this one and everyone else got screwed. read more

If you want to sell your coach - DO NOT Consign your coach with Poulsbo RV. Not sure which location to address my issues to regarding my consigned 2015 Coachman Leprecaun as it apparently went to a few locations. But I will say that I've been unable to get a response from anyone. After 3 months of having my coach to sell, it was returned to me not sold. I did not sign off on receiving it back in "good condition" as I found issues with how it was treated while in their possession. Passing the buck back to the person I signed with (Patrick) seems to be the only reply I get when I try to get someone to help. Patrick is frequently out of the office. I do understand why he's frequently absent however there should be someone who could cover for him. Even when I do reach him, he has not followed through on helping. He has a list of my questions. So my advise is to not use their consignment services as it's a waste of valuable time and money and could cause damage to your coach which you will have to apparently deal with yourself. Totally dissatisfied with them in multiple areas of customer service. Update 10/6/17: I'm happy to report that I was able to get a resolution to the issues above. I sent an email to a couple managers. Will Rogers responded, took ownership of the service failures and came up with an agreeable solution. I am now at peace with this experience. Stay Away! It was a nice sunny day and I took my son and daughter to look at some RVs that we were considering. As soon as we arrived on the lot, an older salesman with grey hair wearing a red shirt approached us. He was not very friendly and did not even introduce himself to us. After informing him that we were just looking around, he told me that he charges $20 for every 15 minutes of his time! And if we ended up buying an RV he would then apply this amount to the sale. At first, I though he was kidding, but then he said "I am dead serious.... do you have $20?" I could not believe it! As soon as we left the lot, I called the Sale Manger (Jeff) to inform him of how this sales person was treating customers. Jeff apologized and indicated that they have all the RVs open so that customer are welcome to check them out. He indicated that he would "take care" of the problem.... We shall see.... If you are thinking about getting an RV, I recommend that you go somewhere else where you are welcome and customer service is important. read more

I would use again. Brian and staff were outstanding when it brought the trailer back for a tail light issue. It needed up being my truck fuse. Not the trailer. WORST experience ever! To start, it took them almost 8 weeks to get the RV ready, then once we got it and took it on our first trip, NOTHING worked. Spent 250k for the worst pile of shit. Their response was to bring it in to access the problems and have it sit in the shop for who knows how long. They would not buy back, they would not do anything. I will never buy a thing from them again and will let everyone I know to stay away. They obviously did nothing in the 8 weeks they were so called "getting it ready" as they did not address or fix any problems and sold a faulty vehicle. read more

Very pleased with the staff and service. I was looking for small hunting compact trailer and I ended up purchasing a Rpod from Poulsbo in Fife, WA. Bob W was the Sale associate, the guy was very helpful and knowledgeable, no typical sale pressure whatsoever. Several times I asked him for photos and info over the phone before I even went to the dealership, he did everything I asked in order to answer all my questions best. Pat is their manager, very friendly, everything was done fast, smooth and professional, the unit was clean and loaded. They had a very useful walk trough and usages training, being first time RV owner I find this extremely important for your safety and keeping your trailer in good shape for a long time, thank you Aaron! We went for help to this company's service dept., which is listed as a dealer for our Forest River RV. The service dept. is very small and at this point say they can handle only the RVs they sell. We were on the road, so that was quite a blow, but a technician briefly looked at our problem and confirmed what we thought was wrong, though he had no time to pursue it. Patti the service manager helped us call around to see if we could get help somewhere else. We had to drive out of our way to Everett, but she got an appointment for us several days later. I don't know how their sales and service should be rated overall, but I'm giving them 4 stars because they made a real effort to help us when they were extremely busy and we were getting desperate. read more

Part 2 of our journey leads us to this RV place. We met with John Austin and had a wonderful experience. We don't know much about trailer camping since we've been tent campers most of our lives. We love the great outdoors but our bodies have had enough of crawling in and out of tents (with 3 dogs) and sleeping on the ground. We acknowledged that we knew our current Subaru Forester couldn't haul over 1500lbs. John also recognized that we are teachers (not CEOs) and didn't try to upsale us to something we couldn't afford. He provided ideas, options and hope that we may some day be able to do this and what would be great vehicles to use if we decided to trade one in and get a camper. He took us into a couple of campers (R pod) in our price range and showed us all the bells and whistles that come with it. He even humored me by opening up one of those huge campers I could never afford just because I've never been in one. He was low pressure, high knowledge and I know that when we are in a better place to make a decision about this, we will be back to buy from him. read more

My email I just sent to Poulsbo RV. Was originally posted on the Yelp site for their Everett site by mistake. This most certainly applies to the Fife location I just attended the RV Show at the Tacoma Dome and did not see what we were looking for. We went to the Fife location as a result of advertising you were doing at the Dome and I assure you I will never darken the blacktop of any facility you own again. I have never been so insulted in my life and will make sure every every person I ever talk to knows what my experience was. When we entered the property a salesman was there and asked us what we were looking for and I told him a 38' - 40' diesel pusher. He takes us to a 38' used coach that was nothing like what we are looking for. As we exited the coach we told him that is not what we were looking for and he said what is your budget to which I replied we don't really have one. Which we don't because we know that the cost of the coaches we are looking for are in the range of $250,000 - $500,000. Your "salesman" replied with "Thanks for wasting my time" as he slammed the door and walked away. To say we were astonished and stunned would be a indescribable understatement. We went to the office and he was walking back out of the door and said "I suppose you want your money back, I guess you need it since you have no budget" I put that in quotes because that was a quote from him. I walked in the office and asked the man inside if he was his boss to which he replied yes. I told him what just happened and he didn't appear to care at all. We took our refund from the T-Dome show and left. A couple of key points. We were returning from our morning walk so we were not dressed like Microsoft millionaires but I can assure you that if you were to look at my tax returns and credit score it would be very evident as to why we have no money concerns or "budget" as your salesman seemed to focus on regarding our prospective purchase. I am glad to say that I did meet some sales people at the T-Dome show from your competitors who appear eager to earn our business, we will be visiting them when we do purchase our 38' - 40' Class A Diesel Pusher. I am sure that I am one of many potential sales that have walked away from your organization and spent their money elsewhere. I cannot assume it was just a rouge salesman since the guy that identified himself as his boss also had no concerns about his behavior and our treatment. read more
