Absolutely the worst service experience ever. They don't update status on repair or approval/compliance with warranty. They replaced my Max air fan with rain sensor with a manual one.( seemed very surprised when I refused to accept this) Replaced my inverter with one that requires manual start and doesn't integrate with the Firefly. Seemed confused when I stated THAT was unacceptable. Yelled at me on the phone when I refused to accept that after 1 month of so called repairs that what has been done IS NOT Acceptable!!!! I was looking to upgrade from my 2024 Zion to a 2026. Beyond for the AWD but I will not be buying from this company. Run away!! I had an overall good experience with Johnson RV. I purchased a used class B that was in great condition for its age with some nice upgrades. I had a trade in that I had been trying to sell on the auto trader for several weeks with no luck. I was pleased that the JDPower price for the RV I was purchasing was higher than the asking price and they gave me a fair price for my trade, especially after the tax advantage (only paying tax on the difference). There were a few issues with the motorhome I purchased that actually took a couple of months to resolve - but they did resolve everything and even a few extra things they really didn't have to cover (like a broken taillight and water pump). They had to replace the entire furnace but did it at their cost. I decided to purchase the extended warranty (which I virtually never buy), but maybe doing so is what improved the service over the standard most dealers provide. I was in negotiations with another nearby dealer (named after a city in Washington) and they were nowhere near fair pricing - not on the RV I would purchase or their offer on my trade. I wouldn't recommend this company, but they seem to have the largest selection of class b RVs in my area. I bought a used rv and haven't been able to use it for a trip we had planned for the fall. I bought their warranty after it was recommended by Aerial in finance. After driving it home, the transmission locked up. I called the number in the paperwork for the warranty and discovered it was not the correct company. I tried to e-mail Aerial, and she had blocked my communication. This was just the start of problems. I found that the heating system didn't work properly. This was under the LIMITED 60-day dealer warranty. Their service department said it worked, but if I kept having problems, the unit needed to be replaced. On this same trip, the transmission went out again, and they did take care of that but also tore out some wiring for the radio, so I had to fix it myself. The van had water leaks, and the Alde heating unit had never been serviced after 7 years. The fluid was gray instead of either pink or green. I had an RV dealer close to me service the Alde unit, and it now works great. Given my experience with the heating system, I checked the engine oil, and it was black. Apparently, somebody changed the service alert on the RV to 20,000 miles without doing the required maintenance. The next chore is to service the generator and any other normal maintenance. Plan on spending about $7,000 for the warranty that appears to be worthless and another $1,000++ for other maintenance items you wouldn't think of when making the purchase. Make sure they have the RV outside to check for leaks, ask for service records, test drive the camper, and test all the systems yourself before making a purchase. FYI - Johnson RV seems to be the responsible party for the warranty. I've called them several times to cancel and get my own policy (better terms and cheaper), but that doesn't seem to be an option. They also advertise that the warranty can be transferred if I sell the RV, but don't count on it read more

We bought an overpriced used RV from this company in Fife in 2021 during the height of the pandemic. We spent $26,000 then (mostly cash) for a 2001 class C and 2 years later we can only get an offer of $9,000 to resale the RV. There are multiple issues regarding rain leaks from the roof and other problems that were not disclosed at the time of sale. I would recommend that anyone avoid buying a used RV from this company. I have attempted to call for possible follow up service, and no one answered the call or returned my message. read more

We purchased our Solis 59P NP model in January of 2023. Our first camping trip in it we came to realize the vent for the shower was not hooked up. The sight glass for the water tank would stay in place/remain flush with the cabinet and our vinyl overhead storage in the coach was peeling off. After multiple attempts to get Johnson RV to schedule and process repairs under a warranty we finally got the van in the shop. At pick up some of the repairs looked a little concerning. Caulking for the vent was pretty bad, sight glass still not flush like it was on the showroom. But after much discussion the issue was resolved and we left with the van. Next camping trip happens and the heat that goes to the read bed doesn't work- no hot air will blow out. The vent in the shower - no hot air. We pulled the bench up and instead of hooking up the venting to fix the shower the venting now blows all the warm air OUTSIDE and nothing blows inside. So camping in the snow 28 degrees was not the time to find out that Johnson RV made the problem worse. We called Johnson RV twice now - you can only get a voice mail. No return calls. This is how it went with the first repair. It took multiple calls and voice mails & us getting a little more frustrated/irritated with them before we got phone calls back. If it weren't for the fact this problem is 100% their doing we wouldn't even deal with them any longer. We would use our extended warranty and go elsewhere. But this was a warranty repair & they did screw it up so we will keep trying. read more

We let him know that we wanted to look at the 2021 Winnebago Class C RV and he responded with "that RV is $100,000 do you think you can afford that?" Is this how you approach your customers? I worked retail for 16 years and was a store manager for many of those years and you NEVER judge a book by its cover. I have never been more frustrated. Just because I wasn't dressed up or don't "look" like their stereotypical "customer" doesn't mean that I haven't done my research on "premium" RV's and specifically travelled to this dealer because they specialize in luxury RV's. My husband brings in well over 16k a month on his salary. This doesn't include mine. You guys along with 3 other Rv dealers in the area need a retraining on what service truly is. read more

Literally the worst customer service of any organization, of any type, ever. And that includes Cable TV and phone companies. Just NOPE this place quickly. Front office/reception is polite and leaves you feeling you'll be well attended -- until they ghost you later. Boy was I suckered in. I made a service appointment in Sept 2021 for a November date -- the earliest available. Dropped off my vehicle for a bunch of minor shakedown faults/repairs. In almost four weeks at the shop, almost no repairs got done and in addition they drove it under a low ceiling and destroyed the ladder. I made a follow-up appointment to complete the remaining work in Feb (then the soonest available), and we discussed at length how they'd pre-order the rest of the parts to ensure everything was ready to go when I dropped it off in Feb. I left it at the dealer for TWO MONTHS this time, and practically ZERO additional work was done. In addition, I was able to confirm with Winnebago corporate that Johnson RV had never even ordered any parts -- despite telling me they had! Basically they sat on my RV for two months and didn't do anything, knowing ahead of time they weren't going to do anything. Now they have ghosted me. No amount of calls or emails will get a response. And they still haven't replaced the ladder they destroyed. BTW I have been unfailingly polite and accommodating with them throughout this process -- this isn't a case of angry customer yelling at a bunch of staff. They are just deceptive and evil. Took our trailer in for warranty repairs, they returned it with problems that they said were fixed. Hard to get a hold of them after you drop it off for repairs. They had our brand new trailer for longer than we have had it in our possession in the repair shop. Sad they are the only authorized warranty repair shop for Winnebago in the Seattle area. The sales people were nice but the repair shop needs to work on customer service. Took them over two weeks to order the parts from Winnebago after we dropped it off for repair. Then they didn't report all the problems to Winnebago that we were having with the unit. Said they fixed a problem, but it wasn't, I called another RV dealer, and they helped me troubleshoot and fix the problem over the phone, so we didn't have to cut our trip short. I know all the problems with our trailer are not the fault of Johnson RV but the lack of communication, saying they fixed something they didn't, and the very slow service is. read more

SERVICE department is TERRIBLE and "sevice" in name only. 10+ weeks ago, I brought my trailer to make some minor exterior repairs. I was told a couple of times that there were no issues. I literally had to tell them how to trouble shoot the issues and low and behold, they found the issues. That was over 6 weeks ago! I was also notified that my leaf springs had suddently failed and required replacement. WHAT? They were perfectly fine when i brought the trailer in! I suspect that the trailer was jacked up on the leaf springs which caused their failure. "Communication" if you could call it that, is AWFUL. They tell me that the phones are down but i can call and talk to the Sales department each and every time that i call. I have received some text messages, but those have been far and few and point blank inaccurate. 10+ (TEN) weeks for a couple of plumbing leaks on the underside? COME ON! Beginning to think that i will need to file a stolen vehicle report! On the other hand, the sales experience was very good, however, because of our awful experince with their "service" department, we won't go back and will advise others to AVOID. read more

Bought my Class C RV from Johnson RV and couldn't be happier. Not only was Jason, my sales guy, amazing he took the time to understand what I was looking for and then show me options. He's also got a great sense of humor so ask for him when you visit. I have to say everybody, literally everyone was nice and friendly. From other sales individuals, finance, and service. It's like a little family in there. Bill also was amazing and answered all my questions as he walked me through how to use the RV on day of pickup. They even roll out the red carpet. Nice little special touch in a special day. Now let's talk after I brought the RV home. Afterwards I noticed that the alignment might be off or the steering wheel needed reset. We didn't notice it when test driving but we were on surface streets where the road is slightly curved anyways to drain water. I called Jason and he and Aaron immediately made the situation right. I went to Les Schwab and Johnson RV paid for the alignment. Beautiful customer service. That's what you hope for after the sale! I know they were disappointed that I had this issue and didn't want this to be a downer for me after such a high of dreaming of owning an RV. BUYER BEWARE! We bought a brand new RV from Johnson almost two years ago. A knob on the stove was broken from the get go, we never actually have been able to use that burner and it this point the whole stove (we don't want to mess with propane). About two years ago we made an appointment, the soonest they had available was 2 months down the line. We took the RV and there was mix up with exactly what part they needed/ parts were back ordered. Since then we have taken it back several times and we still have the original broken knob. Most recently they had our RV on their property for three months straight (different reason) and when we got it this week the knob was STILL broken. It's been years of trying to get one simple thing done, at this point we know they will never honor our warranty and they will never fix it. I'm calling the BBB on Monday and Winnebago to see about getting different recommendations and to leave feedback about this particular dealer. Bought a used a used Pleasure Way 2008 RV from them last January. Went along with higher than internet price because I was going to get great service from their customer only service department. Right away a needed new shocks which I paid for. Then I needed new brakes on back which Johnson paid for. Great. Battery failed, and Johnson paid for. Great Recently the thermostat failed to run AC. To get in for service was to be a one month wait. Terrible. canceled vacation. Called Genesis RV repair and got AC fixed in one week. Now that's good service. So don't expect prompt service from Johnson on you Johnson RV buy. read more

RV dealerships are scary places to visit and in general sales people make a lot of assumptions about customers and lose out on a lot of sales because of their arrogance and ignorance. Found our RV in Las Vegas from a very small dealer and even this guy was a liar. Bud the deal was good and the based product stood up. Service with RV dealers generally is very poor. Stay away from this place with a 100ft pole. Our relationship with Johnson started off great as their customer service in the sales department is phenomenal, but that makes sense because thats how $they suck you in. We ended up buying a Diesel Motorhome from this place and it had a few issues wrong with it that were cosmetic and they said to bring it back once they had room to fit us in. We call and schedule to go back and bring it in and they had no record of the items they had to fix. We listed them for them and they said they would do their best. Come to find out they did not. After driving off we saw that they had still not installed the new faucet and other items. So here we go again calling them back to bring it in again. Before we were able to bring it in our EGR went out. We felt okay because we had a $12k warranty package. What happens when we call the warranty place, they don't cover it. We contacted Dan who was also great and tried to help us out when he could and got us 2k back out of the 10k worth of expense we paid on our 45 day old purchase. Come to find out Johnson does not service the drivetrain or check it out. We were promised new tires but come to find out later after having a tire expert look them over they were over 6 years old and possibly expired, how nice on a $130k coach. They just do cosmetics. So if you are buying a motorhome here, YOU WONT KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH it and your WARRANTY probably won't cover it. There are more issues and concerns but ill save those for the BBB. We asked for a refund of the warranty and they are giving us the run around and its been 3 months. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE and especially a warranty. STAY AWAY FROM THIS place. They are nice and shiny up front and will wash a coach up for your liking but the engine, transmission and all the bells and whistles you need have not been checked and could cost you your life savings. read more

I read the other reviews for Johnson RV and felt the need to add one of my own. My experience with Johnson was so very different than the others described. My understanding is that the entire store has gone through a personnel and storefront upgrade in the recent past, and maybe my experience is due to the "new and improved" Johnson RV..... Anyway, we have tried both successfully and unsuccessfully to purchase RVs over the past several years and have had dealings with most of the regular players in the local RV market. My general opinion of the RV industry is that it personifies every negative stereotype of the "greedy use car salesman". That said, our dealing with Johnson have been nothing but positive and contradicts that stereotype. The salesperson we worked with was knowledgable and listened to what we wanted. We found a used coach that was "the one" and started talking numbers. In most places, this is when the mood changes and the friendships end. This didn't happen at Johnson. They offered more for our trade and discounted the purchase to make numbers more manageable. We went through the application process and sadly were declined..... But wait! There's more..... Instead of being unceremoniously left to find our way out, the manager sat down with us and pointed out things that we could do to meet the qualifications to purchase the RV! Wait! What? Help? We went back and followed his suggestions, while he took our dream coach off the market...... When we came back a month later, SUCCESS!! This is not what I would have expected from an RV dealer and Johnson has set a new bar for their competitors to meet. Well done guys! As a p.s......Johnson has also shown commitment to their customers by PROACTIVELY addressing potential problems in their pre-delivery inspection process that eliminates the worry of some things others just leave to chance. read more

Could we have gotten a little lower price out of state? Maybe, but there's a lot of comfort in knowing the Johnson RV staff have your back even after the sale is done. After a few months and taking our camper van out on several trips, we discovered some minor repairs/adjustments were needed. The service department took our van in on Monday and got it back to us on Thursday in time to go camping on Friday! I've already recommended Hugh to 3 couples interested in getting a Class B RV. I went to Johnson RV last summer to purchase an RV. I was debating between a class B (husband) and a class C (me) and Johnson RV seem to have them in stock. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked what I was looking for. Even though I knew what features I wanted, we're new rv'ers we wanted to check and feel the different fits and finishes between different models. I wanted to look around, instead we were asked to have a seat. "I want to be respectful of your time and I want to get to know what you're looking for and what price point you're looking at" I was annoyed. I knew I was going into a "car dealership" but didn't expect to instantly talk finance! After about 30 mins of getting to know me and my husband and the salesman checking with his sales manager, they found some rv's they thought would be right for me. The salesman directed us to a used vehicle. I did not want a used vehicle and thought I was pretty verbal earlier. Long story short, the salesman went back and forth to his manager a few times to check their inventory. I knew exactly what I wanted but wasn't shown anything close to it. We've been lookIng at RVs for the past 3 years and decided to finally make the purchase. We didn't really budget it so we were trying to purchase a new vehicle for under 90k. When the salesman found out our price point he pretty much told us there wasn't much to look at and that would be tough. That was a bit discouraging. We spent about 90 mins at Johnson RV, either talking to the salesman, his manager or looking at the 3-4 used vehicles that were still over our budget. We even discussed what inventory their Oregon lot had that would be a good match for us, it was all a waste of time. They never called back regarding the Oregon inventory or to even follow up. I ended up buying a brand new Prism from General RV (I flew to Utah to pick it up). That dealership made the transaction so easy! Johnson RV will try to tell you if you buy from them, it'll be easy to get your vehicle serviced there as well. If you buy elsewhere no one will really service you and if they do, they'll put you on the back burner and make you wait (which Johnson RV did try to do when I called to help me tighten up my rv after the initial shakedown since they do warranty work and coachmen advised me to call them.... they offered me to bring it in the next day... but when they found out I bought it elsewhere, the rep said that changes things, and there's a long wait to get in). Horrible sales tactic because I found a private RV mechanic that does warranty work (recommended by coachmen) they're amazing! This private repair company didn't make me wait at all. From the day I called they fit me in the next day and I had my RV back within a week! read more

We bought a new 2019 class b three years ago from Johnson RV. While the price was a couple thousand more than a competitor, I thought comfort and convenience for service was worth the extra money. I was wrong. As many have stated the service after the sale sucks. No one answers the phone . No one returns the call except once out of at least 15 phone calls only to be told We have to order the parts. I have a nhtsb safety recall that they could care less if it gets done by not. This has been going on for over two years to install a simple 30 amp inline fuse that takes 20 minutes to install. I got my 3 year anniversary wish the other day from Robert Murray (director of operations) (not asking how I like my coach but asking for a refferal). I fired off a reply to my situation...Still have not heard a word...these people are the worst.... read more

I called Johnson RV for a recall service Winnebago notified me of on a 2008 Itasca Cambria. Winnebago insisted I used one of their authorized service centers - Johnson RV in Puyallup is the closest. Looking at their lot, full of Class As, Cs, & Bs I was surprised to first be told they did not have a qualified mechanic on staff (fall '16). I call again in March '17 and was told they only service Class Bs. Authorized service center and they only service Class B RVs? For those looking for warranty or recall service on your Winnebago or Itasca RV, Awesome RV in Chehalis is efficient and ready to help. I wound up taking my Cambria there for the service - they ordered the part, let me know when it arrived and made an appointment. I drove down and less than 2 hours later I'm back on the road. *That's* how is should be done. Johnson RV can learn from them. read more

We had a situation arise with the original RV we picked out and after determining that it had some issues that made it unsellable they worked with us to get us into an RV of better quality at a reasonable price. At first during the selection and sale of our purchased Itasca RV (consignment) back in early November 2014, the Johnson RV staff was knowledgable, professional, and trustworthy. That changed significantly during the dealing with the financing person, as well as the follow-through of obtaining legal title for the registration with WA state. Tried working directly with owner, Brandon Johnson located in Oregon, with no satisfaction and frankly his managers ignored his requests for them to RESOLVE months ago! Three months later we are still waiting for official registration (tag) and written material for the charges of the $6,000 warranty that we know we were swindled into. We are an honest semi-retired couple and we tried our best to give them time to resolve the issues they created - we are sure that waiting over three month for a permanent tag is NOT reasonable to most consumers! For this reason, we could never recommend anyone purchase an RV at Johnson RV. Honesty does not appear to be a part of their mission statement. I purchased a 2011 Winnebago VIA in May of 2020. The Salesman was low pressure and courteous but gave us incorrect information. He told us the diesel generator was a $5k upgrade (it was not) and that the unit was thoroughly checked out and they would fix anything not functioning after our first checkout trip. Our first trip ended after the slide out would not retract. Johnson was not able to fix this intermittent problem after after three returns. I had to troubleshoot the problem myself and found a loose ground connection on the the 12v power supply. They also replaced a door seal with the wrong size, which I also ended up replacing myself. After nearly two months of going back and forth to the dealer, I asked for an extension on my 60 day warranty and the manager agreed but pointed out it only the range, refrigerator, water pump furnace, roof AC, and gas water heater (not the generator that the salesman told us was covered). He offer to sell me an extended warranty that would cover more items. So don't believe what they verbally tell you and read the warranty paperwork carefully. They make money on sales and will tell you what you want to hear. read more

Sales Associates were great. Finance Manager didn't even look up from his desk and rushed us through with a warranty cancellation. We had to request the paperwork from the warranty company ourselves. We mailed it to the dealership, they said they didn't get it. We drove the paperwork down and got a signature dated 12/28/2020. It has been confirmed cancelled with the warranty company on 1/28/2021 and they mailed our refund to the dealership. The Finance manager said they didn't get it. The refund needs to be applied to our loan. It's now 3/14/2021 and we leave voice mails for a status and no one returns our calls! We paid $6k for something that hasn't been refunded. It took almost 4 months to get an awning replaced, we never got a call that the replacement arrived! Our service appointment was made and were told we could wait while it was installed. Once we delivered our motorhome, we were told they needed it for a week. Buyer beware, I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. We contacted their office in Sandy Oregon and we get transferred to a voice mail of a staff member that no longer works there. read more
