We had 4 meats (al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, pollo). All the meats were great. What stood out were the sides and extras. Elote, guac, grilled onions and peppers, rice and beans. I was running a tournament where we paid a deposit and had food ordered 2 days ahead of time to be delivered at 11am for 45 people. 11am comes and goes and no tacos. I called several times, texted, left messages, paid a deposit and I had no response. No I am on the way. No I am running late. 11:45am I had to order pizzas to cover our officials and the pizzas were all delivered when the taco service decided to come over an hour and half late. We run events on time and people expect to eat at a certain time. They did not have the courtesy to even let me know they were on the way. What a horrible experience and I have already disputed the charge because they still haven't responded to any messages I sent. I definitely do NOT recommend. read more

We ordered chicken, premium carne asada and veggie tacos. The chicken tacos were good. The asada tacos were not premium meat instead they were chewy and the seasoning was too salty. READ BEFORE YOU MAKE AN EMBARRASSING MISTAKE! First, I don't like putting bad reviews because I don't want to affect anyone's business or livelihood BUT unfortunately this company has super inspired me in all the worst ways. I had my daughters college graduation party. I paid over $1000 for 25 people and had 20 show up. They ran out of food in the first 15 minutes. To the point my mom, my aunt and my friend didn't eat to make sure the guests eat. This is SO embarrassing! I have had dozens of parties I have cooked and or catered. I have NEVER run out of food! They said they would have grilled onions and peppers, raw onions, cilantro and 2 kinds of salsa. It ended up being 2 grilled onions (which melted into nothing) one raw and one head of cilantro, oh half a bottle of 2 kinds of salsa(which ran out in 5 min) for 25 people! And why half a bottle? It looked used and the whole setup looked poor and Un appetizing. I paid extra for quesadillas. They were cooked and lumped on top of each other while hot so they became one big lump of cheese and tortilla. No one could eat them and they ended up in the trash. And I still paid AND TIPPED 20% cuz I thought not the cooks fault the company didn't send enough food. I was just going to leave it there, lesson learned. Will never hire or recommend them. Then I come to find out the cook dumped all his cooking oil in my garage sink and on my driveway! Who does that?? And of course I tried to reach out to the company (Andrea specifically who I was dealing with) and crickets no response from anyone. No apologies. No let us see how we can make this right. If you don't want be embarrassed DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Now I've hired a plumber and a company to come clean my driveway. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not one is because the food didn't taste bad, there was just not enough of it. There should never be any time where a catering company runs out of food in 15 minutes if you're serving 5 or 500 people. And then proceeds to dump it's trash on site! Unacceptable. The street tacos were on point with three different meat choices (chicken, carne asada, and al pastor) as were the quesadillas (straight cheese and with meat). They had plenty of sides like escabeche, cilantro, guacamole, pico de gallo and more; the roja sauce was so good I asked about its pepper base (roasted árbol). These people are unfortunately the scum of the business industry that makes you distrust people. We booked for a party of 60 people and paid $2300. When speaking with other Taco Caterers at other parties, they told me how ridiculous that was because they only charge $1100 for everything we got which included the 2 extra packages. First off, the cook Andy did his best. But the business overbooked that weekend and only sent 1 worker when they SHOULD send 2 workers (I have screenshots to prove this). So poor Andy worked as hard as he could but that doesn't make up for the fact that we paid $2000+ for half the workers. Andy couldn't keep up with grilling up orders and keeping the condiment table stocked so the sides ran out. The company also doesn't provide a canopy for shade for poor Andy so he had to take one of our own rental canopies that we paid for. Let me repeat that: we had to GIVE HIM one of our own canopies WE PAID for. We added on 2 packages. The street package had churros that were very stale and, if I were to guess, were leftovers from a party the day before. The bacon-wrapped hot dog package was probably the worst. The hot dogs tasted like they were from the 99cent store and our cook was so busy by himself that he couldn't grill the bacon long enough. And like I mentioned earlier, our cook was so busy that all the sides on the separate table ran out an hour into the party. Probably as worse as those hot dogs was dealing with their "customer service". I spoke with the office manager Andrea for 6+ weeks. I kept everything as calm as I could and just asked for as minimal compensation as I could because I believed the old churros and hot-dog package were unacceptable. It was basically 6 weeks of "I'll let the owner know", "He already sent the refund", "I'll call the owner", and "I'll call you back." I kept my patience for 6 weeks until basically THEY ACTUALLY STARTED HANGING UP ON ME when I told them my name. TLDR: A business looking to make as much as they can off of you (literally 2-3x more than other Taco caterers) and will never look back once they have your money. read more

Misleading. Taco guy was great, food was good too. Maria invoiced us before the event and we put down a deposit. We made it clear on our price point and what meat we wanted before we even put a deposit down. The original invoice was for 620$. When we were wrapping up the taco guy gives us an invoice for 300$ more than we originally agreed on. We end up talking on the phone and she's telling us carnitas are "premium" and that it was an additional 300$ charge. No email or text was sent that CLEARLY STATES the price would be increased in writing, yet they uploaded a different invoice that we never saw.
