I went there for lunch (late afternoon) on 1/22/26. It was dead. Not a single customer in a very large restaurant. The staff was friendly, took our order right away. I ordered the two taco combo that comes with 2 tacos, chips and salsa and a drink. My daughter ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla that comes with a side of queso. First part of our order came quickly, chips and salsa. It was basic, I won't complain about it as chips and salsa are pretty good anywhere. I chose the shrimp taco and the limited time crab cake taco. The crab cake taco was not edible. It was so salty that I could barely swallow the one bite I took. The shrimp taco was fair, the mango salsa made it tolerable but I was disappointed. My daughter's quesadilla was basic. She said she wouldn't order it again but ate most of it. The queso was gross, I think it was meant to be a chili con queso but I can't be sure. We ended up ordering the sopapillas. Um, those were not sopapillas. The were strips of tortilla soaked in oil, like they tried to fry them, and then unevenly sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. That was disappointing because sopapillas are usually so good. All and all we give it a 2/10 & that feels generous but the place was clean and the staff was friendly. I really try to give places at least 2 opportunities, but since I can get so much better tacos in a lot other places, I won't be back. read more

Someone in our family goes here about at least once a week for the last probably over a year. I used to always get the two taco combo some chips and guacamole and a drink and husband would get similar and then the kids either got the kids meal or an adult meal but normally we could eat for around $40 and we went in yesterday on the 15th of May and they have changed how they do their menu and now it's almost $55 for just 3 of us to eat. We didn't even have one of our kids with us. Chips and queso is now not considered a side. It's an appetizer so you can't make it a combo with the tacos. The food is so great, it's quiet in there and they serve Diet Coke. But we definitely will not be going there as frequently with the new higher prices. read more

Went in today. I asked for a ground beef burrito. I asked for no sour cream no queso and no beans. The lady who was behind the counter did a beef taco. I told her I dont want a taco. She said "Oh! My bad." Then she did a kids burrito. There was a girl next to her helping her. Seemed like a young teenager. I got the burrito and it was just beans. For my husband we ordered a 2 taco combo with a blackened Mahi Mahi puffy taco, a Hawaiian shrimp puffy taco, with his choice of toppings and sauces on the side with tefired beans for his side, sweet tea for his drink and chocolate chunk cookie for dessert. I really thought I had already done a review for this place. Yelp, did you eat it? Anyway this is a good, solid option for your taco cravings with many flavors / toppings / proteins to choose from. Not the most cost effective for a family but the food is worth a splurge every once in awhile. I got the seared tofu tacos in a puffy shell. Delicious!! Seasoned just right and one of the best tofu tacos I have had anywhere. My husband got shrimp tacos (one grilled and one fried) and he was happy with his choice. My grandma got more traditional beef tacos and she was pretty happy with hers, but she is not too adventurous when it comes to food so take that however you want to. Service was pretty good on our visit, which was within the first month or so that they were open. I would definitely like to try them again and maybe get a bowl the next time. read more

I have driven by this new Broken Arrow spot many times. I'm not crazy about the driving in and out process to this new shopping strip center. Also Tacos 4 Life always looks really crowded. But today I said whatever Ive got to try it. I really love the look on the outside of this new restaurant. It looks lively and inviting. Hats off to the exterior designer!!! They have outdoor seating ok...so you walk up and order at the counter. I liked that the menu was on the wall as you walked through the line. They had 2 registers w people operating at once. That's a Star right there!! There were menus at the register to read as well. Now I have a thing about some restaurants that have menus that are soooo over whelming. Many of them would take 30 minutes to read the menu. Plus you are on a 10 second clock to order Or the line behind you gets hostile. The menu layout was simple and easy to follow. Loved it. About 14 types of tacos. with several taco categories. Salads, Quesadillas, Rice bowls, Sides, cookies for desert Anyway order,,take a number to the table and they bring it out. Unfortunately I failed to get a picture of our food, but is was well presented and looked appealing. Our group got a two toco dinner, one mahi-mahi, blackened, and one Korean bbq beef, with a side of Queso habanero rice. My spouse got the chicken quesadilla with pesto rice. Pesto rice was delicious! Quesadilla with its dipping sauce was delicious. The habanero rice was good. A bit adventurous for me on the spice side, but that was tempered with a little lime juice. We've been to the Bixby location so I was happy to see one in Broken Arrow was open. We ordered takeout during their grand opening. The food was great and we will be back. I believe they aren't opened on Sunday's so it makes it hard to visit was we usually grab lunch or brunch on Sundays. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because my order wasn't exactly what I wanted and the cashier seemed to have difficulties with the register and it too awhile to work out. I'd expect this is all due to everyone being new and the process is still getting perfected. I received 2 grilled shrimp tacos and I wanted 1 grilled and 1 fried/breaded whatever it is. Can't complain too much though since grilled is healthier! Everything else was exactly what we ordered. read more

This is the second Tacos For Life location in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area. Their business model is to donate a portion of sales to feeding the poor globally. Their tacos are exceptional. The Broken Arrow location is new and on our recent visit during the grand opening window we received an outstanding level of service. We also enjoyed some very tasty tacos. I highly recommend the carnitas tacos and my wife fauns over the classic beef ones. I enjoy the Mexican creamed corn side and my wife enjoyed her side salad. The service was incredibly slow. They wanted $7 for chips and salsa. Then the food came out. The Mexican corn side was literally canned cream corn with a sprinkle.. and I mean sprinkle of cheese and parsley. It was luke warm. Regarding these tacos. We got the mango habanero chicken and the shrimp taco. The tortillas were cold and doughy (clearly store bought), canned pineapple (cold again) it was not good. The grilled shrimp taco was terrible. I think they were going for a blackened shrimp but it ended up just being boiled shrimp with more seasoning salt than shrimp. I would highly not recommend this establishment and I am honestly disappointed that it has five stars. There are better taco places! read more
