There were 5+ people behind me, and the man at the counter (tall, longer haired ginger) acted like I was the only person in the store. Amazing customer service. They have a great allergy menu in store, for all major allergies. The vibe inside is so cute and I love that it goes to a good cause. Food portions are big and prices are equal to the quality that you get. I usually hate eating out because it is anxiety inducing and a pain on the workers, but the employee helping me and even asking the kitchen was so great. Finally stopped by Tacos 4 Life! I didn't know that tacos are a dollar off on Taco Tuesday. I ordered a southwest rice bowl with steak. It was a great portion size. The produce was fresh. My only complaint was the quality of the steak was a little iffy. My friend ordered the chicken bacon ranch taco, classic beef taco and korean bbq steak taco. I was there on a weeknight at around 7 and it wasn't very crowded. They took my order quickly and the food came out within a few minutes. Despite the limes being so dry that I didn't get a drop of juice out of them only pulp pieces, yuck. The eggplant taco was delicious. The crab cakes I received were burnt causing them the taste bitter while the sauce on it was also bland. I woud try it again just from a different location. I've really liked everything I've ordered here. My favorites are the crispy eggplant taco minus the cilantro salsa because they put pumpkin seeds in it and I'm allergic to those. I also really like the honey hot pimento chicken taco, it's really similar to the specialty sandwich Chick-fil-A recently had. The street corn is also great. They're hot and mild sauces are for sale to take home and I bought the hot sauce to take home because I really liked it. We have been here a few times but today was not good day. Place has a nice decor and looks very chic. Bathrooms were clean but the mens had a sewer odor to it. The cheese rice as a side was missing the cheese, rice was dried and some were not even cooked throughout. The chicken tacos were not good at all with some pieces burnt. The mahi mahi taco was good. The place is a little expensive for just being tacos. They give you a number and you sit an employee brings you your food. After that nobody checks on you the whole time you are there. I love the food here and I love the concept even more. For every meal you buy, they donate a meal to a family in need. On the napkin holder, they have a picture of a kid with a story of where their from and how their life is, the food that's donated goes to one of them. The they also have some lanterns hanging from the ceiling that was hand made by a person in another country, they were able to feed their family and have extra money after making the lanterns for the building. On to the food, everything is very filling but at the same time it feels light after you get done eating. The mahi-mahi taco was very good, it was a nice size piece of fish top with a slightly spicy mayo that was delicious mixed with the slaw on top just brought everything together. My favorite taco was the fried chicken, the outside of the chicken had a perfect crunch with the inside still being juicy. I didn't know it had a honey sauce on it but that end up being one of my favorite things on it, it wasn't to sweet and it had a little kick to it. Watch ordering here. We went on Taco Tuesday when tacos we're supposed to be $1 off. We had 4 tacos, 2 sides, 2 drinks. The order was $2 less than list price..... but should have been $4 off. I'm not a fan of any restaurant that is not up front on pricing..... especially when they have a light up sign at checkout advertising $1 off taco's on Tuesdays. Tacos were tasty but a bit skimpy.
