One of the best tacos I've had in a long time and I'm from Cali where we got the good tacos! We had the carnitas and carne asada tacos and mannnnnn so much flavor with each bite. They stuff their tacos so with 2 I was pretty full. They add beans, guacamole, pico de gallo to their tacos so the price is well worth with! Definitely go earlier to get a good selection we were lucky that they only had the 2 meats I wanted available. They are also only at that spot Fri-Sun. If you aren't familiar with East Las Vegas (Sloan & Sahara). Yeah pretty much right at Frenchman mountain. Unfortunately the truck was sold out of every taco except carne asada. I really wanted the grilled chicken but my friends and I got there 1 hour before they closed (closes at midnight). The taco itself had 2 tortillas, one of them was toasted with some char on it .... and cheese was holding it together (: The guac was fresh with the pico. The asada was juicy and the cheese was gooey. It's hard to explain the party that was going on between my teeth at the moment of consumption. They were also sold out of some of the drinks like coke but there is a liquor store in the complex they park the truck so you can easily get something to drink there. I had been wanting to try this little taco truck since I moved to this side of town. We stopped by right after opening (5pm) and there were already people there waiting. I ordered 3 carne asada tacos and one pork taco with everything on it. My girlfriend got a carne asada burrito and a carne asada taco with everything on it. While waiting, we got the salsa together which was nicely placed on the clean counter with to go cups as well as sour cream. Very cool little set up, they came out of clean squeeze bottles. I liked that. We waited only about ten minutes for the food and ate the food as soon as we got home. (Maybe 5 minutes later) Oh my gosh. The tacos were insanely good. The tortillas really made the taco too. There were two of them and the bottom one had a crunch to it. I can't even describe it good enough for you to understand! The flavors were amazing. My favorite taco was the pork. The service was great. There was a line of four people in the truck taking orders, preparing the food and playing/bagging and giving out the food. My husband and I cannot stop raving about this place. We're always taking our friends here, every chance we get! These tacos are gigantic and well-worth the price! After only two tacos each we are pretty full. The carnitas are my favorite but the chicken tacos are a close second! The tacos come with guacamole, beans, and salsa. What makes them addicting is the crispy inner tortilla that gives it such a satisfying crunch. This is a family-owned taco truck with the best tacos in town. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!! This is for the food truck on Sloan and Sahara on the east side. The one open Thursday - Sunday from 5-11pm. The one that has like three employees. The one that has THE BEST TACOS EVER. I've gone through taco phases. I used to like street taco combos that came with with three tacos and some rice and beans tortilla chips from places like Pepe's. Then I graduated to tacos el tizon where they melted cheese onto the tortilla as a taco base. Then I graduated to Tacos El Gordo street tacos that had adobada and tripas. Then I graduated to Los Tacos where a $4 filled to the max with everything taco was totally worth it. This taco truck is like a mix of all of them. They serve tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. They have perfected the taco in my opinion. They take two medium sized tortillas an melt cheese between them. The bottom tortilla touching the grill makes them crip and crunch. They then fill it with the meat, onions, cilantro, beans, and salsa. Wrapped in some foil and it's the taco PERFECTED! The textures are just awesome. I suggest the carnitas- super flavorful OR the lengua or tongue tacos. Eat them there while the tortilla is crisp! Then you can add extra salsa and sour cream. I've been here a handful of times and they get busy. Ive never waited long, but I totally would. I heard the owner used to work at Los Tacos and I'm a Los Tacos of Tacos El Gordo kind of guy so I love this place. Tax is included also. read more

This truck is an east side classic. Hands down the best taco truck in the whole Las Vegas valley. The tacos are basically mini burritos bursting with flavor and dripping with quality. They're best right off the truck, the perfect ratio of meat, crunch and size. You won't find anything remotely close to these taco's anywhere else. The only downside are the hours of operation, the truck is only open on certain days. They lack much in the condiments area with only the choice or a red/green sauce and the standard plastic tubs to serve that. The tacos are larger than your standard street tacos, and they were good yes, but certainly not worth the money in my opinion. This is my favorite Taco truck hands down. They're a family run taco truck & are very nice people. The food is always fresh made. I usually get the Pork Burrito with extra Pork. And I get the Verde Salsa & extra sour cream. The Verde Salsa isn't too hot for us gringos. And the other Red Salsa is a little Picante but so good when my stomach can tolerate it. Let me start by saying that the tacos were good, but what baffles me the most is that they cannot get one damn order right. I ordered 5 lengua and 1 asada and it came out to be 4 asada and 2 lengua like wtf obviously since its crowded your not going to check, but obviously its necessary. I live near the food truck and I've been going there for about 2 years and its a real pain that they don't get their oders right especially when they charge extra for the lengua. This is my 2nd time they get my order wrong, and it will be the last time since they don't manage their orders so my advice to those who come here, Check your orders b4 u leave. This is my favorite taco place. I think this place is better than tacos El Gordo. The bad thing is that it's a food truck not a restaurant. However; it's well worth the wait and eating outside or in your car. They have a few chairs where you can sit, but its always busy. I like it so much that i don't mind eating standing.
