Lengua tacos without pico de gallo, radish or queso fresco? I never heard of such! However, the food was plentiful and delicious and the beer was ice cold Dos XX amber.

The amount of food you receive for the money you pay is amazing and not to mention the top notch quality of the food and service.

This used be be a good place to eat. The quality and the way it is served has gone down hill greatly.. Orders are wrong often. Had tortilla soup it came out lukewarm chips in the soup were soggy. Returned soup all they did was grabbed the soggy tortilla strips out of the soup and brought back the now cold tortilla soup... Another time was supposed to be a steak quesadilla. Served chicken quesadilla. Returned it, all they did was scraped the chicken out (along with the cheese) and put the steak in the quesadilla, now we have a cold quesadilla with no cheese and bits of chicken. Also had a chicken burrito with the salad on top. The salad was soaking wet and the poor burrito needed a lifesaver to swim in the water that collected on the plate. The salad made the burrito soggy an inedible... You basically have the food thrown down in front of you.. Used to be great. Don't know if the main cook in the back left. The owner needs to evaluate if he wants to stay in business because at this rate it's not looking good. Easy parking and great restaurant. The best thing s to sell the place and start with new owners. (And chef). Sad not to go back...

Loved the vegetarian burrito. Whole family enjoyed it. Picked up to take home. Don't expect the same menu as most other Mexican restaurants.

My husband & I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon (around 3:00) in October 2025. We were…read moreseated right away in a booth under a painting of Frida Kahlo (for reference if you've been inside). We were given food menus, but I was surprised that there were no drinks listed on the menu and no separate menu for drinks/drink specials. We ordered house margaritas (assuming this was probably on a menu somewhere) from the hostess, and then started looking over the menu. Our server arrived and after greeting us, she forcefully pushed our table up against the wall behind it, without saying a word. Apparently there was a small gap between the wall and table, which she felt needed to be corrected. It was startling and unnecessary. She didn't even pause, just kept right on doing her job like that was a normal interaction. The margaritas here are made with LOTS of margarita mix and presumably some tequila. After tasting mine and noticing an abundance of mix, my husband asked if I could get a shot of tequila to go in mine. Instead of bringing a shot to the table, the server took my glass away and then returned with it, looking and tasting like she had simply poured some water into the top of the glass. It was so odd. I was not expecting her to take my glass, so I have no idea what she actually put in it, but it didn't taste any better, just more watery. I ordered the Guacamole Azteca (which was described as avocado chunks with pico de gallo). The server brought it to the table before bringing my husband's order, and she roughly placed it right in front of me, even though it is an appetizer. I pushed it to the center of the table so we could share. It looked like it had been made at least a day ahead. The tomatoes were mushy and had a dry appearance, while the cilantro was wilted and soggy. It was pretty clear this was NOT fresh, looking at the gray colored liquid floating in the dish. It seemed like a mix they would use for ceviche or shrimp cocktail that's sitting around waiting for one of those dishes. My husband ordered 3 asada street tacos and a side of rice. The tacos were bland, other than the flavors of onion & cilantro (not the beef or spice). The rice honestly looked like it was boil in the bag, with only a faint orangish color & flavorless. Have you ever been at a restaurant and felt like you were an inconvenience? Yeah. If you enjoy that feeling, go to Garcia's; if you prefer a place with a welcoming atmosphere, go somewhere else. There are plenty of other great choices around Fountain Inn. We will no be returning to Garcia's. Sorry for the lack of photos; nothing we received was photo-worthy.

It's always a treat when great service elevates the whole dining experience, and David absolutely did that. Even on National Margarita Day! We ordered the house margarita, the birria taco, and a side of rice, and everything hit the spot. The margarita was refreshing and well-balanced, the birria was tender and flavorful, and even the rice had that comforting, homemade feel that rounds out a meal perfectly. Between the warm service and the tasty food, El Cielo is definitely a spot I'll return to. A great night from start to finish.

The first time, I was alone, this trip, I was accompanied by my wife. This is important because she has an eye for so many different things than I do, such as the nice, clean, updated decor; the music was unobtrusive and pleasant, it is an open space that "a group of women would like." For me, it looks like a great bar area to watch a game on a relaxed weekend day or night with great drink options and tasty food. I would imagine this is a great happy hour bar, but not a loud kind, just a comfortable space with plenty of options. But, we were here for lunch. I ordered the chicken tinga crispy Mexican flautas: Crispy Mexican-Style flautas stuffed with Tinga chicken, topped with El Cielo sauce and house dressing, served with rice, beans, sour cream and lettuce. It was delicious....again. No wonder it is one of their most popular dishes. The flautas are rolled, fried tortillas with filling, sometimes called a tacquito, although technically a flauta is supposed to be a bit larger than a tacquito. Nevertheless, they were crispy and the accompanying sauces were drizzled over the top. This is not only a great presentation but is tasty enough that no other condiments. The tinga chicken is shredded with a spicy (flavor not heat) tomato, onion, garlic, chipotle pepper sauce. Served with a side of rice, refried beans and shredded lettuce with sour cream. This is a go to dish. My wife ordered the taco salad, as usual, however, not as usual, this one was declared as the best taco salad she has ever been served. The chicken in the salad seemed to be the same tinga chicken as in the flautas - so that is a good reason for this flavor. The salsa bar has about 10 choices including on for children that is mild. We tried five - the regular red salsa, the mango pineapple chunky salsa, the verde tomatilla, the spicy creamy verde and the warm, slightly spicy bean dip that comes with the chips. All were great. If I was picky, the chips are the thicker, more sturdy type (which is fine) and not the thinner, crispy kind (often called "restaurant style." But each has its plusses, so no big deal. Be careful not to over-chip, the salsas are all fresh and very goodl. Our server was a pro - Jonathon. He has been with the restaurant since day 12 after opening and is their most seasoned of the wait staff. This showed in his knowledge of the dishes and attentiveness. Surprisingly, there was not a large crowd at lunch, but a decent crowd. This is now on our regular rotation for a lunch date.

Shredded iceberg lettuce, sour cream and rice on the side. It was a bit heavy on the beans, but it was well-balanced and quite tasty.
