Found this heaven sent on yelp, opened 24 hours and it was 5 minutes away from our hotel! It's not your typical Tex-Mex but the actual Mexican food, which are the best! They are located right next to the gas station and even if the gas station is closed there is a door on the side of the building to get in. Inside is about 5-6 tables to dine in, the lady was very patient and nice to us. --Tostada (5/5) - choice of meat?! Fajita! They put the sour cream on the side without even asking which was great! Sour cream was very liquid-y not my top choice to put it on my tostada anyways. They did not put guacamole like the usual tostadas I've had but it's alright. --Quesadilla (5/5) - Again choice of meat was fajita as well. It was crispy on the ends but it tasted kind of like an arepa. Very good still! Came with lettuce and tomatoes inside. Red sauce was super spicy but good when I mixed it with the green salsa. I still say the carnitas is really good, however, I just tried the barbacoa and it sucks. I can get down with a greasy taco but I literally lifted these and a stream of grease streamed out and the tortilla fell apart. I live three streets over and this has not happened before. It was New Years Day and I was craving tacos. A lot of taco shops were closed, understandably so, but I was able to find this little place inside a gas station. I was kind of iffy, but it was the only place open near by and tacos were only $1.60 each so I decided to try it out. I am so glad I did! The tacos were delicious and the green salsa had a good little kick to it. I ordered 2 barbacoa and 2 fajita tacos. They are a little on the small side and finished in about 3-4 bites, but they both had a good amount of meat to them. They also offer many other menu items, like gorditas, sopes, elotes, aguas frescas, and a lot more to name. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to COVID safety. There wasn't any social distancing between tables and the man who took our order only had a mask on while placing orders and then would pull it down without gloves. We didn't feel safe enough to eat there and decided to take our food to go. Hopefully once things are safer, we will give this place another try, especially since they have so much to choose from. read more

I am going to school in the area and wanted to try the taco places nearby. So far I've left ratings in places nearby, but absolutely had to write this one. The tacos are terrible, you're better eating rice cakes. No flavor, the meat has tons of fat in it. The barbacoa has no taste, tasted old. The trompo was fatty, tasteless and over all feeling terrible after eating it. The whole set up was no good. They had people in there but have no idea why. Anyway, I do not recommend, I can't go back in time but if I could I'd say go somewhere else not here. We've been eating here for years when they were called Ceaser's Tacos, but we have never left a review till now. They are our go to taco place when we don't wanna drive so far away, especially on a Friday after work. They still put out good tacos, rice and beans. Their salsa verde is still one of my favorites. My taco place to go....ALWAYS! I love their bistec tacos so perfect and it's the closes I can get other then going to Michoacan and eating them their. I use to love it when they were wrapped in foil paper, made the feel a little more authentic, and their Aguas frescas are also yummy. Drive thru will usually take about 30 minutes to get your food, it's worth the wait. Price is getting kinda pricy at a dollar something each, but still worth it every now and them. Both times ordered the tacos combo. 3 tacos with beans and rice for $5.99. Both times I ordered steak fajita. Soooooo good! This place is attached to a gas station, but you can sit in and eat if you would like. They also put out these heated serranos with salt on them. Make sure you get some and eat it with the tacos. I ordered food pickup via Uber eats and made the same order via drive thru and ended getting charged $8 more. I shared with other people and they said the same has happened to them. The food in here is great and they have a HUGE selection of Mexican, TexMex and central American dishes. The flavor is good, best beef tacos I've tried in the area and if you go I suggest you to try the loaded nachos, so good! The only downside is that is supposed to be fast food but it can take forever depending on how busy it is (it's usually busy). The lady taking orders is the same that put the food in the baskets, so the food takes forever to get to you, because she has to do like three different things at the same time, my waiting was incredibly long during my last visit.
