Cute name. Im visiting Dallas and a friend of the family recommended this place and took me here. I really appreciate the simple menu. We placed our orders and the food all came out as we ordered and was pretty fast. We tried a variety of tacos, elote and a quesadilla. The hot sauce was pretty spicy according to one in out party that had it. I stuck with the mild and it added a nice tang. Would probably come here again but maybe eat in your car or take your food to go if it's windy like it was today! read more

The breakfast tacos are small but had a good taste. The protein side of the taco was lacking though. The outside venue is cool for Fall, Winter, or Spring, but during the Texas Summers I would not recommend. The lady taking our order explained everything and was very accommodating. read more

We happened to be in the area today so stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered us a couple tacos to try. Carnitas and Chicken. We really enjoyed both tacos. Would have liked some lime, would have put it over the top yummy. Would definitely stop back and try again. Elite was presented nicely and good. I found a new taco spot a few weeks ago and I am hooked. After leaving Apple to purchase phones, I wanted to grab something to eat before driving home. Hubby did a google search while I was driving and Tacos, Bites and Beats appeared as an option. My phone was still downloading my apps so I couldn't see my fellow yelper reviews but I still wanted to check them out and I'm glad I did. When we arrived, we stood in line about 10 minutes which is a good thing because it gave us time to look at the menu on the exterior wall. I ordered the Carne Asada Quesadilla, Mexican Coke my husband ordered a variety of Tacos. Fifteen minutes later, we are sitting in the car and eating our meal. No we didn't leave the parking lot. My quesadilla was so cheesy and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The salsas are great too. I shared a portion with my husband and I ate one of his tacos. LOL I came back again on another visit but this time without my husband and I ordered the same thing. I'm already planning my third visit but this time I will go with hubby. They open at 7:00am and they sell breakfast burritos. The only downfall is they close early so if you want tacos, this is not a late night option. I think they close at 3:00pm. If you want to place a large order, catering is available. Also, if you are planning on ordering ahead, this option is not available. I tried twice and the call went to voicemail. Good green and red sauces on the side; they say the sauces are hot, but since I'm not your usual "gringo mouth" I use double the amount. Feel free to ask for another. They also have food trucks. The potatoes were flavorful and crisp. It was so good I had to try lunch. We booked Tacos, Bites & Beats for our hotel's Associate Appreciation Week with the expectation that they would provide a wonderful experience for our associates. The food was good but the complications that came along with the taco truck were not. We booked the platinum package from 11am to 2pm. The "beats" did not start until an hour after they started serving. Then once the music began, they ran out of burritos and quesadillas with still 2 hours to go. They also had to borrow our hotel's serving utensils because they did not have their own? Then to wrap things up, they decided to leave 30 minutes early. I reached out to my contact, Erika, with the hopes of a sympathetic response and a willingness to discuss possible compensation for the issues we experienced, but nothing came from it. We still got charged the extra $300 for an additional hour (despite them leaving 30 mins early) and were over-charged for 3 additional servings. I provided my phone number and asked to talk to someone over the phone but I never heard back. We will not be booking their services again. read more

Was hunting for vegetarian food at the event 'Taste of Irving' and wasn't being very successful when I saw this food truck which had paneer on it's menu. The sight of paneer always makes me happy so I decided to give it a try. They had tacos, burritos and quesadillas on the menu, paneer being the veggie filling option. I decided to go with tacos and while the paneer was actually soft, fresh and flavorful, I missed a spicy element in the tacos, wish it came with a sauce on the side. This food truck catered a luncheon my work hosted for a small group of us today (about 90 people). The guy was super nice, and the did was sooooo good. I had been looking forward to it all week and sometimes that can lead to something not living up to the hype in my head. Not the case with this truck. The pork and paneer tacos were my favorite, hands down. The other ones were good, but the levels of flavor of the pork and paneer were just unbeatable. The Mexican street corn didn't taste like authentic elote, but it was so amazing in its own right. The guy setting up said people call it "crack corn". I can totally see why, the seasoning in the sauce was so complex and... just really yummy. Last but certainly not least, their habanero salsa was SUPER spicy, but so worth it!! I had to get more! I live near Fort Worth, which is no where near this food truck's area, but I would be willing to go search it out on a weekend. read more

The burrito as a burrito was tasteless, uninspired and uses fake powder eggs. The gas station around the corner has a better egg, cheese and potato burrito & sauce then Tacos, Bites and Beats. The one star is for good atmosphere w/outside seating, real potatoes and pretty decent customer service.
