This is the diamond everyone looks for in a restaurant. This nice sized clean, family owned business on South Council Road knocks it out of the ball park. Great Tex Mex and some authentic Mexican dishes is a treasure. Since my friend told me about this small out of the way restaurant. It has become a go to place for me to enjoy some excellent Mexican foods. Original Mexican drinks (NonAlcholic) and regular drink coffee, tea etc.. I love this place. Price is very affordable. I dont eat any place else for Mexican. Portions you won't walk away from hungry. Delicious every dish. Friendly and very accommodating. Clean as a pin. Mom and pop restaurants are some of the best! One of the better restaurants like this is Tacos Don Nacho on S Council. It's a pretty phenomenal Mexican restaurant. One of my favorite things is they make their own taco shells. This is a wet burrito and a crispy beef taco. Best taco I've ever had in my life!!! It's not overly priced and is addictive!! read more

Coming from Southern California, I can't believe Im saying this but Tacos Don Nacho is one of THE best Mexican food establishments I've ever been to and it's in OKC! The food is hands down delicious! Always the best!! I love this place. They treat you like familia. The food is amazing no matter what you get. You feel like you're in your friend's kitchen. Try the carnitas so good. I usually opt for the "Taco Rico plate". I get it so often it took me years to get to the rest of the menu. You won't be disappointed. I've gone and made myself hungry so I have to go. Possibly the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. The shredded beef was tough. The cheese in the enchiladas was like a brick and very chewy not creamy. To top it off the guacamole was not real guacamole. I have no idea what it was. Couldn't finish even a few bites of this meal. read more

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in OKC. As far as authentic goes I think they have this figured out. I'll start with a breakfast burrito in which OKC does not do. When I move from southern Arizona to Oklahoma. The one first thing I missed was a great breakfast burrito. Tacos Don nacho only has two types of breakfast burritos, they have the chorizo and a ham, egg and cheese. If they would build on those two burritos in the morning and open at 7am instead of 9am and offer bacon, sausage, chorizo, and ham. They would have people lined up around the block. Tacos Don Nacho would be the only game in town. By the way, the lunch and dinner Mexican food was excellent as well. read more

Family owned and operated. Husband and wife work the front area. We have lives here long enough to know this building was built to be a del taco I think but was taken over by them as Del Taco bailed before it was finished. If you want legit Mexican food this is the place to go. They do not have queso which is a bummer but the great food covers for it big time! read more

This place is old school Mexican food in a new building! It's legit! Service was hectic but friendly and nice. Its a bustling place! When the customer rush is in and once you are at your table with food and drink, don't expect any further check ups...you will need to track down staff for any further needs (i.e., take out containers, etc...)...I dont have issue with that, but saw others who seemed irritated about that. I will definitely return! read more

No visit to OKC is complete without a stop at Tacos Don Nachos! This place is almost always busy at lunch, arrive early (11am) if you want a quick enter/exit lunch. I finally ventured away from my standard taco/enchiladas combo and tried the Taco Rico Plate, fajita-style beef with peppers and onions, covered with fresh avocado, rice and beans. Oh man...good choice. The meat is seasoned and seared to perfection, mixed with the fresh avocado screams get in my belly! Comes with three (I believe handmade in the restaurant), rice and beans. Enjoy this place, it's a favorite of locals and has a huge following. And after one bite...I believe you'll be hooked as well. read more

Amazing find and amazing Mexican food. You order up at the counter and seat yourself. Complimentary chips and salsa; the red salsa does have a hot kick to it and surprised my taste buds lol, green salsa is more like chopped New Mexico green chili, much more milder and would be awesome over eggs Or breakfast burrito. Wife had the Taco Rico plate and that was fantastic; soft seasoned fajita meat with peppers, onions, tomatoes and avocado on topped served with fresh refried beans and rice and homemade tortillas. I had the combination platter; one cheese enchilada and crispy beef taco with rice and beans. The enchilada was great and the red sauce was good, could've used a bit more of rest sauce. The crispy beef taco was crunchy with a homemade shell, rice was tender and refried beans was fresh and delicious and I don't usually eat those. I mean, if i wanted to get an onion burger i could simply go to in n out and get a burger with grilled onions and raw onion as well. so, while the burgers were good, it didn't wow me and maybe it was too hyped up and it didn't live to its hype, is the reason i only gave it 3 stars. The fries on the other hand were great. The parking lot right in front is really small, but there are plenty of seats inside and outside.

We found ourselves in OKC but did not expect the New England Patriots to be playing this late in…read morethe season when we booked our tickets. Accordingly, we pivoted from seeing the sights on a Sunday afternoon to looking for a tavern in which to watch the Patriots defeat the Houston Texans. We found the Deep Deuce and had a great afternoon sipping beer, eating pretzel sticks and watching football. Our bartender was great! She checked in on us frequently -- enough to ensure that we could order everything we wanted, but not so much that we felt pressured or rushed. I had a local IPA. I wish I could recall what it was called but I will long recall how flavorful it was! It was a great match for the pretzel sticks (which were served with a tangy cheese sauce). I also enjoyed a black bean burger and fries, both of which I scarfed down. Had a great time and I would not hesitate to return if ever I find myself in OKC again!
